- Huge thanks to @wheelandgood and Garage 42 for setting up a great drive with two contemporaries.
Strosek is the unsung hero of aftermarket Porsche design.

Which would you take home?
Porsche for me 👌
Definitely the porsche!
The Strosek 964, but I'd leave the exhaust. Assuming the recording is faithful, I'm not a fan of the exhaust.
Ferrari 🎉🎉🎉
Porsche allways 😍, but that Fia...no Ferrari is allso cool 😅🤩. I take both Thank You ❤.
probably the best looking 964 ive seen till date... that is so damn good looking
Singer?
No stick-shift is ever escaping "the neutral juggle" 😅
It shouldn’t. It’s cheap insurance to make sure you don’t dump the clutch in gear by accident.
There is a 993 Strosek floating around here as well. Nearly lost my shit when I saw it at a light.
I feel like the 308/328 are still a bit of a hidden gem. I love my 308 QV, just a fantastic engine and transmission to drive. Yes, the chassis is not as impressive as a modern car might be, but it's fine and, importantly, the suspension is very comfortable on less than perfect roads.
Damn, those are SICK cars. I'd probably take the Porsche only because this specific Ferrari doesn't bring me that much nostalgia (and maintenance) but God damn these 2 look amazing.
Aged like fine wine
I always choose team Porsche, but that gated shifter is audible heaven. Love the ejecto-style engine bonnet :O
Did you get the magnum PI vibes in the Ferrari? All you were missing was the Hawaiian coastline 😂😂🤣👍! Was that a MOMO steering wheel in the Ferrari? I believe they worked closely with them back in the day.
100% !! I mentioned it but cut it out of the video since 100000 people will comment about how magnum PI had a 308 not a 328....
@@TedwardDrives 😂😂😂🤣👍 So true
Two timeless iconic legends in the automotive world. Great review. Must of been a blast to drive. A true driving experience and enjoyment compared to the over whelming technology given in vehicles today. Look analog gauges! Yeah I am old. I’ll take the Porsche
Probably the best video to feel the 80's vibes! 😍 ...would take the Ferrari home...
Wow! What a treat that was to watch! Both those cars are SO good, its great to see them out on the road and put through the paces. Amazing video Tedward!! 👍👍
bottom line : Ferrari : slow but feels fast, Porsche : Fast but feels slow.
I've been waiting for a 328 POV for a while now from you! I'm finally glad we got it!
Hope you get more seat time and impressions in one but you already seemed like you were enjoying it a lot more than the 964, I think for me that's the one I'd take home.
GTS, red on tan, could not go wrong with it. Sounded, daresay, a bit Honda but it's a V8 so you'll have grunt... I think that'd be *the* classic Ferrari to own.
Sounded like my old integra but when the oil was cold it wouldn't engage vtec at 6000rpm. A bit crap basically. Lacking induction noise.
Flat plane crank v8 with insulated intake will do that.
I compared me doing 1-4 gears on my k20z3 civic si revving to 8600 rpm to a newer ferrari 360 in cabin 1-4 gear pull and they sounded so similar its just hilarious to have "ferrari noises" in my 4door daily driver of course the exhuast sounds different but in cabin and oncoming sounds a lil crazy
Love the 328
amazing video
Nice video, pelase make a review of a Ferrari 308 gts/gtb
Thank goodness Strosek doesn’t have the hideous headlights like the earlier model.
It was the later one with the small lights. This was version two. Version three has the small lights
I remember seeing the small light versions in DuPont Registry back in the day and would cringe a bit. With that said, the Gemballa Avalanche was probably even more cringeworthy. ;-)
Hit it out of the ballpark again with this kick a$$ duo! You have the worst job......said no one ever.
Thank you!!!
2:53 Air conditioned flat six? :D
Yes some did not have ac. Some did. You can see the compressor. They never blow that cold but it’s nice to have in the summer so you aren’t sweating
Wow
so i want one now
Which one!
@@TedwardDrives The porsche for me. It looks just so solid and loud enough to put a dumb smile on my face
Mee too. I just do not want the horrible engine maintenance.
I instantly thought of Weird Science lol.
12:03 was it a cop? lol
haha yes!
@@TedwardDrives im super paranoid these days, got nabbed not respecting the drive 3 weeks ago :(
I should not say first
Therefore happy weekend
I'm surprised you didn't split these into two separate videos.
I was going to. But it was one day and short drives so I thought it might be fun to see them together
Wow
The 964 will always be the more complete car than a 328. More live-able and the better driving experience in many ways. But I’d still take the Ferrari.
Every single day. And twice on Sunday.
