      @J K it don’t matter if he did the work 100% himself or not. The point is, he got a car that needed rescued. He got it, got it fixed up, now its sitting in a awesome museum. So for that, that’s pretty cool. The museum gave him a shoot out so something to be proud of. Stop trying to be so negative, enough of that in this world.

    Shout-out to the camera man, not a lightweight rig, and he's stepping over electrical cords and railings, peeking in windows and i didnt see one reflection or direct lighting glare from the camera or a single boom shadow either. Additionally nice job to all involved, amazing production team, and as COO I expected his knowledge to be extensive but his fluid transitions and dynamic story-esc narration over the tour timeline make it a truly one of a kind experience. Thank you for creating it.

    A couple of years ago, I found myself in L.A. visiting my brother. He treated me to a visit to Petersen's Museum during its Porsche exhibit. I didn't expect it, but just the experience of standing next to a real Gulf Porsche 917K literally made me cry- it was a spiritual moment in my life. I grew up in Hermosa Beach in the early '70s and lived around the corner from Vasek Polak's dealership. The last time I saw a 917 was as a 10 year old kid in his showroom half a century ago. Maybe someday, I may enjoy watching one go through the paces at Laguna Seca, but for now, I had the magical moment of standing in the presence of a true icon. Thank you.

      Idk why I haven’t made it something I have to do every couple years but I am going to.
      I usually catch the beach & some games when I’m out there but now Vegas actually has pro teams so I don’t have to travel to see Games. Still have to for The REDS but anyhow, now I’ll have some other destinations in mind when head to the beach for a few days from now on.
      For some reason I treated The Peterson Automotive Museum like I’ve done it , but it’s always changing so there’s not an ever done it so that’s that.
      New exhibits always changing. I’ll have to get out there more frequently for sure.

    Visited some years back. It's great how they circulate their amazing collection so that there's always something new to see. Hope the Corona plague levels out soon so it can be reopened. Very knowledgeable host.

    2 hours of hearing “uh, um” in every sentence. I can’t make it past 7 minutes💀

      if you you didn't make t past 7 minutes then how do you know he did it for 2 hours?

      The uh's were aggressive, I made it to 45 min struggling and had to change it, it was hard to avoid or un hear!!

      @@jm100368 because if I watched the remaining 2 hours and 7 minutes of him explaining, I’d have to sit through more “uh, um’s”.

    Amazing cars and a fantastic museum. I hope to go there sometime. BUT, I turned down the sound after 30 min.. and fast forwarded the video... because of this guys Ah's and Umm's. He drove me crazy with this. Maybe it's only me end my quirks, but if guided tours is what he does regularly... he needs to be made aware of this . The cars are flawless, and the so should the guide be also.

    The Porsche 959 was never mentioned in the same breath at the Countach. It was launched at a similar time to the Ferraro F40. The Lambo was of a different era, having been developed from the original 70's design P400.

      @mcyclhound 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I remember the P350 and later P400,front engine/rear drive conventional layout...the Countach owes more to the Miura

      Countach seems to have the Same Basic lines as the Pantera, but with more air vents & that Butt-Ugly wing

    • @BluesCast
      @BluesCast 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You are correct, the Countach was released in 1974 and it was a head turner big time in 74. I can remember when the young 18 year old Boris Becker received delivery of a 959. Another head turner that was exceptional in the dirt, the car not Becker.
