Courtney Kachur yeah I found myself saying the exact same thing watching it, that’s why like with grilling outside just keep an eye on it, especially something like steak because no one seems to ever like their steak done the same way haha

Which is so funny when you hear salmonella recalls on product that made it to homes. How did they get salmonella if they cooked the product correctly? I can see the companies pulling product if it tested positive, but people get sick and then the recalls happen. They had to under cook their food or cross contaminate maybe? Something on the users end is wrong. Oven probe is the best tool, the ones that you can check temps outside the oven, not just stick the food.

Just bought my Ninja Foodi grill. I agree the cook times are incorrect in the guide. once you get past the timing learning curve, I love it. I've been using it 2-3 times a day. To deal with the fat drippings during grilling, when it's time to add the meat, I lift the grill out, and put in a parchment paper 9x9 "bowl". put the grill back on, add the meat and get to grilling. When done, i then take the grill out, lift the grease filled parchment bowl out. quick wipe with a paper towel, then put in the air fry crisper basket, and off I go. quick easy clean and no smoke :-)

Their coffee maker me and my dad love which she got him for Christmas last year and he has stopped buying coffee at stores and got a thermos to take coffee with him to work. I do love the coffee maker and the foodi itself. When I heard about everything it claimed to do I thought she was crazy for buying it as no way it could do that but here I am now eating my own words as it is used almost every night for dinner and the air fryer is amazing on it. Cooking at a lower tempurature and longer time for something like that works better. I've also cooked a couple chicken boobs and like yours, the time had to be reduced to get it perfect. I've yet to cook veggies in it and tonight I'm trying frozen tater tots so we'll see.

I bought this like 2 weeks ago and have used it about 5 times. It’s great, clean up is really easy, let things cool a bit and then with soap and the little tool it comes with if you need to remove little stuck on stuff.
Times are a bit off but in my experience it wasn’t much. I’ve done steaks, burgers, carne asada (really really good) chicken breast, and salmon.
The salmon smoked a bit but that was because of the marinate,
If the con is the cooking times or space that’s not really cons at all especially how well it works.
They have separate racks that you can buy from their website and things are reasonably priced. Check out places like Kohl’s, I spent so much less for mine that it feels like a great buy.
Cool thing is the timer once you open pauses and the once you close it starts up again. Sounds small but it’s convenient.
Asparagus came out great, bought a big package of it from Costco and finished it with the meals we made.
Worth it if you live in apartments or even if you wanna grill in December when it’s -2.

We just got one a couple of weeks ago on sale for 129.00. So far I love it. As for cooking times, it may be that they are trying to err on the side of caution. They don't want to be responsible for people eating undercooked food. I am also impressed with how easily it cleans up. And yes, it is large and a little on the heavier side. Still love using it though.

I used canola oil and a dry rub for my chicken and there was no char at all. In my experience whether I’m grilling on the Ninja Foodie or a traditional grill (and I use a marinade on my chicken) I get that same charred look. It’s caused when the sugars in the marinade caramelize at such a high heat. If you prefer a less charred chicken you can always back down on the temp and increase the time - but definitely check the chicken to keep it from over/under cooking. Cleanup was a cinch!!! I’m very pleased with this product!!!

Good evening Mr White. I would like to thank you for all the reviews that you do. Most importantly I would like to thank you for the Ninja foodi Grill review because I bought that one for myself for Christmas And I love it! As with all ninja products, I have realized that you must adjust time and temperatures accordingly to your elevation level. At 7000 feet elevation where my home is, not far from Nevada, it is a wee bit more difficult so I did want to tell you that their website for Ninja Kitchen was very helpful. I am hoping that you and your family had a wonderful holidays and I look forward to many more of your reviews in the future.

Got this thing for Christmas and first thing I made was near perfect boneless chicken breast fillets (teriyaki marinade). The book recommends 14-18 minutes at 450, but that would basically turn them into burnt dust. At 11 minutes, the chicken was already 170-172. I'd recommend 10 mins, flipping halfway through, to get to that 165 mark. Even slightly overcooked, the chicken came out very tasty. Tomorrow I'm going to grill some prime ribeyes from Costco and then some Steelhead Trout the following day. Can't wait to see how those turn out.

I love my foodi grill but cleaning it really is a bore. Especially after grilling meat or chicken , the grill plate, the filter and inside the hood takes time and elbow grease to clean. Some design improvements needed!!!

Got my Wife one for Christmas and we love it! I purchased the deluxe model with the temperature probe and the steaks come out perfect. I also have cooked fresh bratwurst and find it to be as good if not better than cooking them on my outdoor grill.
For a quick easy meal I put some pre-cooked frozen BBQ wings and some sweet potato fries using the air crisp setting and in less than 10 minutes they are done.

Best purchase I've made of 2019... this thing cooks better than my Weber grill out back. Every single guy should own this thing, it's the perfect 1-2 person BBQ.
I was skeptical of the grill marks and sear you would get from an electric device, let me tell you.... it is 100% legit, I highly doubt anyone could tell the difference between this and a propane BBQ.
I put olive oil on some veggies to see if I could get them nice and charred (love that taste).... and 8 mins later on MAX I completely burned them to a blackened crisp LOL.
    Get one, thank me later.

Did you get the PRO? I want to dehydrate too, but mine isn’t a PRO so I didn’t get the extra accessories.

For any kind of cooking processes (grill, fry, ....), one needs to flip the food item at constant intervals. So the cook must be stand beside the device and be alert regarding the flip time and count. Don't you think this is unfair and it unnecessarily engages the cook. If you use the Philips Airfryer you DON'T need to flip. Just set the timer and do any kind cooking complete unbothered about flipping time and count. It's like fire and forget. Isn't it a GREAT freedom for the cook ? What's your opinion ?

Me too. I think it’s hereditary. My dad, two of his five children, one of my three, one of their eight. It doesn’t get better. Can’t work yourself out of it. It’s a feeling like if I don’t get away from this right now, I’m going to lose control. I think it could produce violence if unrelieved. It never has, but the feeling is so strong I believe it could.

See a therapist. If you can't handle a basic function of the human body you have problems.

      @@MonsterSandwich99 Definition of misophonia
: a condition in which one or more common sounds (such as the ticking of a clock, the hum of a fluorescent light, or the chewing or breathing of another person) cause an atypical emotional response (such as disgust, distress, panic, or anger) in the affected person hearing the sound
For people with a condition that some scientists called misophonia, mealtime can be torture. The sounds of other people eating-chewing, chomping, slurping, gurgling-can send them into an instantaneous, blood-boiling rage.

@@snotsc0tt yeah so if you have this problem perhaps a trained professional can help you be a functional member of society again and not a selfish asshole who expects everyone to pander to them and not do basic human body functions. Wow I'm sorry you're so entitled that normal human body functions bother you. Someone can help you. Please seek it out. Society is at a stupid place where instead of tellng someone they need help and getting them the resources we dance around problems and pretend they don't exist. I'm not going to tell you to suck it up, but I'm also not going to just pretend to accept it. Have you actually tried to seek help about this or do you just expect everyone to pander and cater to you?
