Here in Nova Scotia we wish that we had more snow throughout the winter and most certainly much more rain this spring. We are experiencing historic wildfires which have wiped out 200+ structures including 150+ homes in the Halifax Regional Municipality. There are two other huge fires burning in the province as well. There is a 60% chance of rain showers expected through Friday night and Saturday. We need a lot more rain than that. Your prayers are much appreciated. I know how you feel we were in the Hermit's Peak fire in New Mexico last year. We had a really bad raging flashflood so stay away from the rivers and streams when the rains come. The flashfloods coming off the burn area is just as bad as the fire. Prayers

I don't on line bank for the same reason, should someone get ahold of my phone. You just can't be too careful.

Dutch next time a baby bunny is caught, put it in a shoebox with a towel over it till dusk. Then take it out to release it. They are still dependent on their mom at that age some. She leaves them in a safe place while she browses for food. They start moving around to stay close to mom. When you release it put it back where you got it from. Chances are mom is looking for it where she left them to bring them out with her. Rabbits will live in huge brush piles of limbs and leaves and yard trash. Keep that in mind when you burn brush.

Bucket train the horses. Put their feed in the bucket and go in and put it in their feed troughs, Always shacking the bucket. Then when you want them in, do the same, go open the gate, shake the bucket and slowly walk over to their feed troughs and put it in. They will get used to that and come every time you have a bucket and shake the feed.
For your hens try using the square cat litter pails. Remove the large part of top. Lay on open side. My daughter uses them!! Work great and you can line them up easily.
Watching your video's always puts a smile on my face. 😁 I'm glad the baby rabbit didn't get hurt and you saved it's life. Jerry my cat caught a baby opossum the other night, then Chuck my yellow labrador mix got a hold of it. By the time I got to it ten seconds later, it was already bleeding bad and died shortly after. I don't mind them catching rats, but not Opossums. 🧓

We had a graduated nursery of bunnies within 6-8 weeks. Bottle feeding was being done on some of the younger crew. We let them all go on our 160 acres and actually see bunny signs today.
Eddie's middle name should be Pegasus. The markings on his sides could be wings, folded in. Maybe he secretely takes night flights, driving Chief nuts, circling him in the air.

How come no one is collecting eggs anymore? Seems to be a waste of feed just to feed all the eggs to the dogs and pigs and leave the rest for the broody chickens.
Get a big bowl of water and put your eggs one at a time in there, and if it sinks it's a good egg. If it kind of on end eat it right away. If it floats it's no good. I was so happy when I learned this trick. I still crack them one at a time in a separate dish before I put it in my pan.
I've ordered from TEMU several times, and each time took longer to deliver than the last. I've heard too many instances of people not getting their order. Plus, the shipping practices that TEMU uses are crappy. No matter what you order, it's delivered in an orange plastic bag that just screams out to porch pirates if nobody is home.

If you would give them a very small amount of grain each time you want the ponies to come in they will come each time you call them. It just takes a handful. Put it in their feeder after a few times then call. First have it in a bucket to shake but always let them see you put it in the feeder. Good luck. 😊
Water from the hose is probably colder than the water in their little pond. For fun, you might want to experiment with ice. Let them see and feel the ice and then throw some into the pond close to the edge. Check their resction.

You need a couple of goats to take down those weeds in that pen. The minis won't eat weeds. A couple of nice milk nannies would make that a perfect symbiotic relationship with the minis. Or, if you are a fan of goat as a table meat, Boers are what you need. They'll eat the weeds, too. Just got to decide if you want milk & cheese, or meat. 😊
