It's a damn shame I find this video a mere two months before moving away to a different country, else I would buy me the necessary to make one right away :) This is just splendid!
So cute! How often do you change out the water? And do you know of any aquatic animals you could add in that could reduce that need? I'm hoping to create a vivarium with animal life that's as close to self sustaining as possible! 😊
Hi! I do water change once a week roughly. I have couple of small snails in it. Biological balance is fine due the small sponge filter at the back which I clean only once a month. Thank you for watching!
@@pearlfectfishtanks Oh wow that's so cool! As for the snails - I thought about that but I'm worried they'd crawl out! 😅 Do you know if any algae-eating fishes or aquatic life that could work in the pond? Edit: I just found that shrimp will eat algae! Maybe I can get some lil shrimp in the pond :3
@@pearlfectfishtanks Do you just rinse the filter with clean water ? Does it preserve the beneficial bacteria in the filter sponge ? Lovely looking tank.
Thank you so much for the video. May I know the capacity of the IKEA vase? and how long the water lasts in the vase in your ambient temperature and humidity before its gets evaporated; to say the half level mark?
