  • How to use different shape stones make a waterfall?
    What's the best method of making the aqua terrarium with waterfall?
    The betta got its name from an ancient clan of warriors, called the "Bettah."
    Bettas, unlike other species, are not schooling fish and will fight with each other, regardless of gender. Bettas prefer to swim alone and also need a comfortable place to hide. Aquatic caves or dense, planted corners work great in making a betta feel safe.
    Bettas have several different tail shapes - the most common being the "veil tail." Other tail shapes include the "half-moon," "double tail," "short-finned fighting-style tail" and "crown tail." etc.....
    My betta fish is Plakat Betta(PK).
    He is male and his face looks like Donald Duck because of he always purses his lips... LOL

They are kept in those little cups at the pet store because they will kill each other if they’re in the same tank. Just because they’re cheep doesn’t mean they should be kept in extremely small tanks. I do love this aquascape and beautiful betta ❤️

    Most people says this is too small for that betta. But for me, i think this is better than most keepers here in Philippines.
    Here in philippines, Bettas are kept in small jar (for selling) and small 4x4x4 tank (for keeping) i see my uncle's betta kept in water dipper (Tabo) and the worst part, my friend's Jar ser up as his collection.
    Seeing this set up is way more better than betta keepers here.

    You know I don't get people always saying a tank/bowl is to small for a betta. I put my betta in my 20 gallon tank and it had a really hard time swimming around in it. It also did not live very long in the 20 gallon either. Had live plants in containers that stuck on the inside of the glass. It would spend most of it time laying on/near the plants or on the leaf. Then swim up to top to get air. It lived for a year. I had one in the 90s in a vase with a bamboo plant and that one lived for 4 or 5 years. I think a shallow tank like this is perfect for one maybe just have it be a little more size weight, maybe.

    • @ferretwonderland
      @ferretwonderland  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I agree.It is quite common to see a labyrinth fish(The Betta) rise to the top of the tank and gulp air from the surface of the water. The air is forced into the labyrinth organ, to allow the oxygen to be absorbed.But more wider tank is much better.maybe.Thank you very much.

    Yo tengo algo parecido solo que coloque una piedra algo grande al centro del tazón, actualmente sembré por decirlo así un poco de musgo que en inglés lo llaman Christmas y la especie que tengo en él es Poecilia reticulata más conocido como guppys y eh logrado en ese espacio tan reducido tener hasta 18 peces entre adultos y alevines, la cual ya lleva creo yo como la 5 generación de alevines nacidos en ese tazón, el tiempo que tiene ese tazón es de 3 años de ser un mini-acuario. Posee filtro de esponja es una pequeña base plástica adentro de una estructura en forma de volcán y es muy buena su funcionalidad.

    Not gonna lie the fake water sounds are getting on my toot. But otherwise good job. And by fake water sounds I mean that the sound you are using is not coming from that feature you have made. Pretty obvious because that is a weak pump.
