Just listened to this song for the first time, and it's 2022. I love stumbling across "new" music. This song is crazy good. I love that the time signature is 6/4. Really adds a hypnotic feel to it.

MGMT has that signature echo to their falsetto harmonies that make them sound retro yet majestic. They also use a blend of synthesizers, keyboards, flutes, harps, & rhythmic drum patterns to give them a unique sound. They bounce between space-age, to aboriginal, to 80's synth-pop effortlessly. 🎹📡🎶⏳️🌊

I love this song because I discovered it through my son. He always had such good taste in music that the words "turn it down," were never spoken in our house.
I remember when I was 17 and taking acid for the first time, I went to a party with some older kids in my neighborhood and had a great experience on it, around 2 am I decided to walk home and I remember when I got to my bedroom I stumbled through the dark and managed to tun the tv on, and when the tv lit up I seen the mtv logo in the bottom of the corner and this music video had just started to play, at the time I didnt know the song or who mgmt was but I remember watching the video and it making total sense to me, that night changed my life and really opened my eyes to the world.

no, melodramatic babies "hate life". Our society puts too much emphasis on the weak minded children who feel sorry for themselves, but this only feeds their self pity. You know who hated life? Dylan Klebold, one half of the two fine men that shot up Columbine HS. Just sayin' xD
i never said that all people who hate life are mass shooters, i made a joke, to which Elite SAO responded that he "shoots up schools", then you came along and told me to shut the fuck up for cracking a slightly offensive joke on the internet? doesn't make you sound like much of a intelligent human being now does it?
