What I like about reading this comment section is how universal the nostalgia for this song is. And not just from its original release but often years later For so many people, there was just a simpler time in our lives where we had this song playing over and over. Those simpler days are behind us but every time we hear this song we can visit them for a few minutes
This is my nostalgia song, it was literally my childhood. My dad would play this all the time along with foo fighters and the living end, but this is the one I specifically remember just stopping and listening to when it came on. Tbh it makes me kinda sad to think about because it reminds me of the house I grew up in before my parents divorced. Now I’m somewhere that doesn’t feel like it’s really my home and the only things I have to remind me of it are these songs.
my memory of this song: I was driving across south carolina to apply for a job in another town. I invited my long time friend to ride with me. He was a childhood friend and he was the type that no matter how much time had passed, we always clicked right back. it had been around 5 or 6 years since he moved and we went to different schools. He put this song on during the drive. it was nearing sunset and it was so good because we were the best of friends as kids and now we have grown up a bit and are enjoying our friendship again. Reminded me of simpler times. love this song. We grew apart and certain people wound up driving a wedge between us and we havent talked for about two years now. We both share blame and I regret it and we both are too stubborn to reconnect but nothing lasts forever and sometimes you lose friends. its a part of life but with a song like this, you can remember the good times.
This song makes me remember when my dad and I would play video games when I was younger. I don’t know why, but this song always seemed to come up and it always reminds me of those great times.

This song reminds of a holiday i was on with my family when i was a kid. I don't remember a lot about it, but still the best vacation i ever had. Thank you mom & dad.
i remember watching a FNaF animatic to this song years ago and a few months ago my sister played it and i was hit with instant nostalgia and remembered the whole song
heard this song years ago, then a few days ago i was reading the book One of Us is Lying and the book mentions the song once so i listened to it and got hit with a wave of nostalgia
This song is for everyone, age is not a factor. In the journey of life, we meet a lot on the way, some want to be haunted, we all got to be careful on what we pick on our way.
At this time in my life when this came out I was living in an apartment in San Antonio…my neighbor downstairs was a pretty girl named nicki. She was a heroin addict. But she was really chill down to earth ppl. We had some of the most interesting convos I ever had in my life. This was 2009-2010….it is now 2022. I always wondered how she is doing or if she is even still alive. It sucks. Some ppl come into your life and u don’t even know that they are a blessing. She was a good girl. A philosopher. A good mind. A good spirit. I miss her energy.
Yesterday i heard this song in a video while streaming with friends and i almost shouted "i love kids!" Before realising that smiling friends taught me better
this song reminds me of the pre covid era when i was still a kid and all the good times i had back in the day, this song really hit different back then

Got to see these guys open up for Of Montreal at Oberlin college back in October 2007. Never would’ve guessed out of the 4 bands playing these guys would take off like they did. Kids and Time to pretend blew me away. Still some of my favorite music to listen too.
I remember that song so clearly. It was 2008 and me and my now husband were riding along the California Coast in our motorbikes. I was listening to that song on my portable VCR from a disk I made of all my favorite songs. This one hits so hard because that was the day I decided what life I wanted for myself. The day my life changed for the better.
when i was little i knew people that told me about how nostalgic this song was. yeah, i had a simple grasp of what nostalgia was. i simply missed whatever i had a few years then, nothing much. nearly a decade later, as a teenager i now understand
Not to discourage you or something, but wait until you progress through age groups how nostalgia kicks in. I'm in my 20s and I remember some of the stuff that happened in my school days as it was yesterday, or even worse, I have to remind myself that 2017 was nearly a decade ago :)))

Thank you for telling me the name of the song, Viviana. We may have not been friends at school nor had the best memories but I thank you again as I was lured by the exotic sound of this song and you used on a personal project for English. (C. 2010).
This is one of those songs that, even if you've never heard it, sounds nostalgic and makes you want to go back. And another thing, it makes (at least me) wanna go out and just mess around with friends again, calling each other stupid and laughing at ourselves and just enjoying life.

This song was one of them, but finally listening to it right now makes me wanna tear up, I dunno in happiness or sadness, but I'm certain its out of both. I hate and love the feeling of nostalgia because when you listen to it, you want to stop, but when you stop, you wanna listen to it

One of my favorite nostolgic childhood songs
same here, my other go to song like that is Pumped Up Kicks
Questo cenzo spacca di brutto ❤❤
heard this song years ago, then a few days ago i was reading the book One of Us is Lying and the book mentions the song once so i listened to it and got hit with a wave of nostalgia
my friend read that book omg
I'm here for that exact reason what the heck
I read it too, great book!
@@abbey8039 HAHAHA SAME
i’m here to figure out what that clip would have looked like 😭
this song radiates perfect nostalgia
She might have been cool but your life is probibly better without her.
This remids me of my kid years ❤
Yesterday i heard this song in a video while streaming with friends and i almost shouted "i love kids!" Before realising that smiling friends taught me better
This song makes me super sad but happy at the same time 😞
Same

This song is my comfort song for when life gets too loud.

this song is a truly a great song when i listen to it, it feels like im looking thru memories, memories of past memories to when i was a kid and it hurts but its life you only go thru it once and you gotta make the most of it and dude do i ever miss being a kid again.

7clouds, This is awesome! I subscribed because I want to see more!
Got to see these guys open up for Of Montreal at Oberlin college back in October 2007. Never would’ve guessed out of the 4 bands playing these guys would take off like they did. Kids and Time to pretend blew me away. Still some of my favorite music to listen too.
Happiness hoping on FIFA 09 and you hear this song blasting
@@ShaggyakaCalikzzgurl..idk why but im only 15 and I get so nostalgic always like sometimes it feels like im living in my memories more than reality like i just wish to be younger again :/..
@@Girlygirlygirl2920 it's just life, I guess. When you're a preschooler, you want to go to school. When you get in school, you want to go back to kindergarten or to be a teen. When you are a teen, you want to be an adult, and so forth. Every stage of life has it's perks and drawbacks, I guess. You don't know what you're going to do in two weeks, let alone in two years.
Thank you for telling me the name of the song, Viviana.
We may have not been friends at school nor had the best memories but I thank you again as I was lured by the exotic sound of this song and you used on a personal project for English. (C. 2010).
Underrated music group.
You listen to this in 2024?
I'm listening in 2134.
Still slaps.
i’m listening in 2024.

AFTER ALL THESE YEARS I FINALLY FOUND THIS SONG!
AND IT'S JUST AS BANGER AS IT ALWAYS HAS BEEN
Esta buenarda la cancion
One of the best pop songs of all time.
Very funny once you remember that they made this song as a joke to sell out
This song reminds me of the primary school match of kids in the finals
This is one of those songs that, even if you've never heard it, sounds nostalgic and makes you want to go back.
And another thing, it makes (at least me) wanna go out and just mess around with friends again, calling each other stupid and laughing at ourselves and just enjoying life.
This song always reminds me of my biggest achievement, going to a tournemant where nearly every country in germany oarticipated... my team listened to a german rap version of this song and that time was MY biggest achievement... Going there as a new teammember I was so proud of myself
Im only 15 but this song is just nostalgic...
im 20 and it feels like I was 15 just a few weeks ago lol
Same lol
I'm 40 and I'm still a kid 🤣🤣🤣
It hits you harder the older you get. They all do. We stack up so much time behind us we don't even realize.
2024 and this song still hits
Yea :)
Beautiful how a song can remind you of simpler times, when life gets hard keep going I know that’s easier said then done but trust me I once felt empty to
I didn’t even realize this came out as early as it did, I don’t remember it from HS. But I remember it fondly as it relates to my time in college 🥹👏🏾 timeless ❤️🔥
❤ en cada noche! Cuando era adolescente haya en los 2012 - 10 ! Siempre buscando en las radios está canción! Me recuerda el ambiente de antes ! 😢

What is the technical name for the music played in 2:58 to 3: 15. Please I m in love with these types of symphonies or melodies or whatever the name may be. Someone tell me what is the musical term for it.
Hi friend! It's like a type of synth pop... 🙏

Heard it in this four chords comedy song. Guy whipped out a kazoo and started playing the tune to it and i was like "what was that song?!"

De volta aos 15 me trouxe aqui em 2023, como essas Séries conseguem trazer essas músicas maravilhosas de volta
