Thanks for your pronunciation of Bulova. The pronunciation that the brand used to refer to itself when I was a kid many, many years ago. I'm not sure where the bizarre Bu-LOW-va pronunciation originated but it sounds like a fingernail scraping of on chalk board whenever I hear it. As far as the watch is concerned, I'm gratified to see Bulova finally installing their excellent Precisionist movement in watches that don't look like fever dreams of an Invicta designer. (Apologies to Invicta fans.) I own two of the Jet Star models introduced last year. They're among the few quartz watches I own and I'm VERY fond of them. My collection is already overloaded with dive watches so I won't be adding the Marine Star but based on my experience with the Jet Star models I'd certainly recommend taking a careful look at the newest edition to the Precisionist line.
I love this movement. Thanks for the review. Just a bit bigger lug to lug than I normally go to these days even though I have a couple over 50. Really tempting me tho
@awkward129 only just seen your reply pal, was slightly fast for the first few weeks. But now it keeps perfect time. When the clocks went back it was perfect after a good few months of not adjusting the time. It's the rubber bracelet version, and the case and crystal are still like new.
Great review....Nice addition to your collection.
Thank you so much nkuwan for taking us shopping🛍…my wish list just got longer
Dig that yellow and smooth sweep.
Sweep is mesmerizing

Thank you. I would like to try putting a yellow strap on it, do you think it looks good?
my accutron 2 has that. same as the jet star and precisionist.
*Amazing dial color. Unfortunately, it's not available for purchase in Europe.*
creationwatches? 😎
Great watch, stands out from the boring masses.
Purchased one this morning £250 UK pounds. Well worth that price, for that sweeping movement. And the finishing looks decent too ❤
How's it holding up mate? Thinking about getting one this weekend.
@awkward129 great watch can’t go wrong

No lume on the bezel is just a ridiculous deal breaker. Just a lume pip would have been something.
That is dope!
What's the lug to lug on this?
If I get a dive watch, this is the one 👌
Estoy viendo si lo compro para llevármelo a Cancun en abril 2025
lug to lug ?
It’s like 50mm not a small watch
#nkuwan 's watch really surprises me!
