- The Flash season 9 had the worst finale, not the way I expected to send off a show that was a huge part of my life growing up. Actors like grant gustin as Barry Allen, Candice Patton as Iris West, Danielle Panabaker as Killer Frost, Tom Cavanagh as Harrison Wells, Reverse Flash and Eobard Thawne were amazing. The writing was just horrible. Was cool to see Savitar back. And previous few episodes to see Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen or Green Arrow/Spectre and Wally as Kid Flash. When directors and screenwriters lose their passion and start throwing out bad ideas, it’s time for a show to end. Keeping something alive just because it’s a cash cow does nothing but hurt the IP’s legacy. Just look at what’s happening to DB and Naruto. They’re both staining their legacies by continuing for the sake of profit and money.

This is such a disappointment. I really enjoyed this series way way back. It truly peaked in Season 1 and 2... and it became only just that.

Grant Gustin was such a good actor and Flash, but the writers just kind of threw out the original premise of the show, which is sad to see

Eobard Thawne, the same man who was 2 steps ahead of his enemies, the same man who took 2 sets of the Legends of Tomorrow just to beat, and it wasnt even them who beat him, it was the black flash. And he gets 1 shot by a side character
Zoom, the scariest and most menacing speedster, the man who terrorised Central City, and almost destroyed the multiverse, gets beaten by fake Caitlin.
Savitar, the God of speed, the same man Team flash spent an entire season preparing for, the man who took Jay, Wally and Barry in a 3v1, gets beaten by his own daughter
Godspeed, the man who caused a war that made Central city a battlefield, the same guy who took Thawne and Barry in a 2v1, gets 1 shot by an old lady cosplaying as Dreamer

@@nvapisces7011 Barry beating them overwhelmingly could have worked instead of weakening the speedsters to accomodate for Cecile or Allegra. He grew a lot since the last time he fought Zoom and Savitar.
i think arrow was really good till the end. it never went downhill unlike almost every other CW show

Honestly yeah, out of the series in the Arrowverse it’s one of the only ones that I can make it past season 2… the Flash has been really hard for me to watch flashpoint because I know that it’s gonna screw up a lot of things there were… I’ve watched past it before but it’s gotten really difficult
Arrow's Final Season was insane from beginning to end, At least Arrow found redemption.
The Flash just got worse and worse when Eric Wallace took over.
But arrow was never as the flash. Season 4 of arrow was a downgrade but season 5 was very good, season 6 had some ups and the prison part of season 7 was amazing. Flash was just down bad as of season 5

Honestly that episode where he looped it back to the original timeline was the best we could've asked for. I came back and watched the last couple of episodes and that one made me cry unlike the others. It's the only one that made me feel like I was watching Season 1 again. Although it had its flaws it was practically perfect. Goodbye Grant hope the DCU gives you a tribute at some point.

He shouldn't touch any media. I've said it to a friend, the flash used to be a superhero csi show. But the later seasons then turned into the greys anatomy of a superhero show, barely any interest and an bunch of drama and relationship issues
After around season 4 everything kinda sucked Savitar the last villain who's pretty decent always loved him
Imo the last villain that was good was Ramsey. And the thinker wasn't half bad. I liked Goldface as a side villain, and Cobalt Blue had potential. I also liked season 4 and 8,. But what do I know, I've only known flash for more than half my life

I really like when the villains had connections, reverse flash death caused a singularity which zoom used to find out about earth-1, then zoom created something that can destroy the multiverse but before that killing his dad, after that made Flashpoint because of the greif zoom caused made savitar after restoring Flashpoint because of the time remnant in the previous fight with zoom. I really love that connection sadly it ended after devoe but it was a nice change of pace he did soon created cicada but then the villains got more confusing who is the actual main villains and that is one of the many downfalls of the flash
You're lucky to create a replica of a masterpiece or the "flow" of a show with each season. Whether it be 3 or 4 times, but it's not always going to be a mistake, it's a stumble and a fall. A tragic great fall to realize what was nice.

This show was like my childhood I remember staying up late, waiting for the new episode to come at 9. Sad to see what it became and now happy that it was ended because at this point it needed to be put down.
They should have showed the building of the Flash Museum

They should have aired those 4-part episodes first. Then, ended it with The Green Arrow episode.
Dude I was so ready for season 9 and when I watched it I was sad cause it was so Terrible like literally
damn this video surprised me i didnt think you would make a video about the flash. But i feel the same way it was a big part of my life in high school but after season 4 it stopped giving me the same emotion as the first seasons and after Arrow finished it felt even more sad
It would've been cool if there was a final fight with reverse flash but barry finally wins for good but is pretty battered up, as hes dying he uses all his strength to have one last run and manages to run back in time and in his dying breath he starts glowing like crazy and runs faster than ever before, then he strikes young barry like lightning. Back to season 1
Rest In Peace the Arrowverse
Season 1 and 2 were masterpieces. Season 3 was good,but the cracks started to open. Season 4 was meh,Season 5 was bad,until the final episode. Season 6 was bad and it was the season that made me drop it for good.
Id argue 3 was better than 2

I just hope the writer and director doesn’t get offered any future superhero projects to work on. They single handedly destroyed this show from season 6 and I cannot forgive them for it. Also, Cisco is not in it which is a huge missed opportunity
as someone who stop watching flash after season 3, it's sad that the future season quality is disappointing

I knew it would be terrible, because Eric always worded his writing process as, “Writing as if it was our final season”.
Oh well, at least Arrow wrapped up nicely.

It was so bad every character died from simple things even though previous seasons they were the strongest characters. Savitar got stabbed and died instantly even though he is the god of speed, zoom died even though he cause havoc and teleported through time with no struggle and died from his own lighting even though he was the one who caught lighting. Godspeed died from Cecile in seconds even though he took a season to defeat and caused war. They just gave all of my favorite speedsters and treasured characters a bad ending they didn't take any time. It would have even been better if it was actually a fight everybody got picked off and easily convinced him to give up he didn't put any fight. I loved seeing all these enemies come back but it was sad they put no effort or time and this was the last season 😔
I feel like April 25 of this year there's gonna be a flash missing post as a kind of nod to him suppose to of disappearing
I loved this series and while it did get worse and worse as it went on it’s still a really nice show to sit back and watch if your not constantly over analyzing every little inconsistency I mean there a lot of parts that are just bad but over all this is a good show and it may of been legendary if they didn’t drag it on for so long

Honestly Season 3 is a better ending where Barry sacrafices himself to save the city.
Seasons 4 and 5 had a good ending. He saved the city from the satellite. In season 5, in the last episode, they started to build up the flash dying in crisis.
It's rare of you to talk about DC especially CW series. I'm grew up with flash especially my personal favourite villain Captain Cold. Reverse Flash is dope but he became like spoil brat this season
Let me fix the flash team in the finale:
1. Flash (Obviously)
2. Cisco (he comes back)
3. Daughter Nora
4. Cecile (She was fine, she just had poor acting)
5. Killer Frost (Bring her back before the finale)
This would have been so much better for a finale
I wonder where grant gustin will do now. I want him to replace the main movie actor because of all his drama and stuff but I doubt that’ll happen. I also feel like if anyone sees him in any other show they would think of him as the flash
Grant gustin was amazing, I'm sure he will be in other projects but he also said that he's always ready to take the role of the flash again.

He really captured the Barry Allen we all love. I bet if they casted him more people who grew up with TV show Barry would watch Justice league movies that have the flash

The flash was my favorite show and when I was in high school it was really big I wish the ending was better
What if Berry Allens mom is Prepetua? Could explain why saving her life changes to timeline so much .
Peak seasons 1 2 & 3 Definitely fell off afterwards but i enjoyed watching this on netflix. Watching Barry go against all those other speedsters was so fascinating (Zoom, GodSpeed, Reverse Flash) & im gonna miss this show alot. End rating? 7.9/10

Season 7 and 8 and the beginning of season 9 but the way it actually ended with him choosing others to be speedsters I liked that
The series wasn’t that great honestly because of how irritating it was. The seemed to make the Flash unable to think forward and just announce his presence to the villains, and allow them to escape because he couldn’t see them and didn’t even try to go after them.
They made Barry rely too much on his team

The thing about the flash I agree, but arrow never really felll off, It had one bad season which was season 4 but season made up for it, and it had a beautiful finale.
They should have done a build up old villains returning each episode then the big fight with Eddie

What i think is a good last episode is that cobalt blue has a plan for the villains
Savitar can go to infantino street and do the exact same thing as he did, which is kill iris in front of barry but instead of killing iris, barry was fast enough to stop savitar.
For zoom, the same thing can happen that he wants to use the magnetar, and wipe out the entire multiverse, killing all the speedster, like season 2, barry races him, but this time barry caught up with him and knock out zoom.
Godspeed can try and kill the rest if team flash and the other team flash people with power try and stop him but they cant.
Reverse flash can betray cobalt blue and become the avatar, collecting the speed from the rest of the villains, and barry and him can actually do a proper fight or can just make flash 1 v 4 the villians
What barry can do at the end, is he destroy the negative speed force once and for all.
This will show how much Barry has improved and how much faster he has become
Bro that shit looked like it was made in stop motion, dont even get me started on how the speedsters died. Godspeed died from a goddamn headache, savitar died from his own weapon that can magically pierce his suit, and rf died from an energy blast. The worth part is barry and thawne didnt even get to fight each other
Grant is probably one of my favourite actors, guy can literally be a villain and sing like a beast. Sad that it’s been over now I miss it

The Flash show actually ended after season 4. Season 5 was the XS show, while seasons 6-9 were the Cecile show

I didn’t even catch up, I was on season 7 then just went straight to the final episode of the series and I’m glad I didn’t waste my time watching all those episodes in between.
Well, at least the green arrow had two great send offs both with his finale in the crisis on infinite earths and with his final return in episode 9x9
True, IMO S1 to S3 were the peak of the flash series but things went downhill from S5 onwards. I'd still say S5 was good enough,at least in terms of CGI but can't say the same about the later seasons especially Season 7 and 8

Season 6 was a bit messy because of COVID, but Season 4 could've been the end. Crossovers were still cool though.

Grant actually sugguestion the ending where Barry becomes the bolt of lighting that went back in time to turn himself into the Flash but the new show runner they got a few seasons in turned it down.

This is so Disappointing I remember watching the flash Every Saturday and it was so fun and it was a huge part of my childhood, I think it sucks how much worse the show has gotten Considering it was like a gem
They had such a great idea with all the villains coming back, but they just nerfed everyone like no one even got a hit on the hero’s
I genuinely was OK with the modern seasons. They weren’t my favorites 1-4 will always be my favorite but I did enjoy the episode where Barry becomes the future flash from all those years ago, it was a good way to put them all together, and I also like the end monologue where he told his story to his daughter. I love that personally.

When I was watching it I was honestly suprised it ended really quickly and on this I hated most was that they never brought back Cisco who was the main shine of the series

When I first thought season 3 finale came out I really thought that the series was done. in my mind it perfectly wrapped up the series. Then season 4 came out and that was good but not as good as the first 3 seasons then after that it really went downhill.
Imo should've ended after season 3 with Barry going into the speed force, they should've had him become the lightning bolt that gave him his powers, and leave the rest of the villains to the legends and other heroes
Damn can’t people just be appreciative that we even got more seasons?
