Thank you for sharing this fantastic Keane video with the world! Tom and Jesse really put on a fantastic show in that Manchester tram!
Thank you for your donation, that is very kind 😍 I completely agree with you!
@@KeaneAnalytics LOS AMO,es una pena que ya no pude alcanzar a comprar un boleto para su concierto aquí en México, consideren otra fecha por favor, gracias 🥰
2 quid 😂😂😂😂
Well it's more than anyone else has donated, so it is much appreciated! 😊
@@KeaneAnalytics why would you deserve a donation ? 😂😂😂get a real job boys
No autotune needed. Tom’s got one of the best voices in the music industry.
But I love Keane as a band..❤
I'll second that.
100%
Definitivamente, eso es un cantante 😊🤩💯
Spot on mate
Calm down
Can you imagine being in such close quarters with that golden voice?!!! ♥️♥️♥️
I wish ❤
Eu ia enfartar
Golden voice!
And yet a few people in there are more concerned with sharing the video rather than enjoying the moment...sad times we live in..
@@belenm.7671no offence but I really hate when people say this. I'm a musician myself, I'm a huge fan of Keane, and if I was on this carriage with them I would be either (if they let me) harmonising and drumming along, or otherwise you bet I would be recording it on my phone, so I could enjoy the moment again and again for years. I get that it can be annoying to see a crowd full of phones, and yes there will be some people who just share it on social media and never look at it again. But I still have videos on my phone/computer of old concerts I went to, I still enjoy rewatching moments from them every once in a while. Why do people feel the need to tell others how they should enjoy their experiences? Anyway, just my opinion...
Damn. His voice sounds exactly like the studio version. Exactly
Impresionante.
Props to the guitarist for keeping his balance on the moving tram while playing.
Jesse Quin is fantastic 🙂
tenés que ver los guitarristas de un micro linea 27 en Paraguay
How many “artists” today would do this? No effects, no filter. Man! Tom can sing!
Really
Today Tom is one of the best singers out there!
Very few, another example is Mon Laferte. She use to give small recitals, 3 songs, only she and her guitar at any city at the street. Some of them are in TH-cam like this one.
To me it's more about why they would do this. What is the purpose of doing this on public transportation? Just do it in a studio where the sound quality will be top notch, zero consideration went into this whole thing. I like them and I'm a fan of their music but this was poor planning.
@@inc0de How on earth was it "poor planning"? The idea was just to do something a little different and more spontaneous or impromptu feeling for BBC Music Day and bring the music to somewhere else. The whole point of it is that it's meant to be the very opposite of a studio version!
He is really loud. Singing without mic and his voice is so powerfull
If he was singing without mic you wouldn't be able to hear him
I'm no real Keane fan, come across this and blown away. What a voice....
check his Queen cover w the actual queen band
As good today as you were 2005 love you guys. ❤❤❤❤
Unreal fan?
Are you now?:)
Can't believe this song is now 20 years old
I would have burst in tears. Keane are pure nostalgia of the years 2004/2005 to me.
Me too ❤
Me too ❤❤❤ 1:02
Me too
Totalmente 😢
Igual .....esta canción fue especial .....
This band aged like wine
Beautifully said mate
How someone came up with such lyrics in 20's let alone lifetime is beautiful. We all have felt these words at some point.
Tim Rice-Oxley is a genius 😊
Coldplay lost out on an excellent song writer.
Amazing performance. He keeps his clean and powerful voice after all these years.
Ok. He's 44, not 84. People don't generally lose their voices until much later than 44, especially men.
Many singers, especially in the tenor register, tend to add grain to their register, losing their previous clean characteristic. Lots of touring cause in many occasions stress in the vocal chords. Liam Gallagher is the perfect example of that. On other occasions, the change is more subtle and gradual, like with Chris Martin, but definitely doesn't remain the same over time. Not only that, many tenors lose quickly part of their top register, like David Bowie or Sting, unable to perform Roxane in the original register only a couple of years after recording it. Francis Healy from Travis is 50, and he's been struggling to reach the upper notes for a while now.
Tom Jones says hi@@th8257
True, considering mostly what he s been through.
To be honest, Tom’s voice has gotten better. You can hear it in his breathing. I’d say he’s having to push much less ❤
Pure class. Shows their talent, performing on a tram with no audio aids whatsoever, and sounding as good as they do. FAB.
No autotune, no clever technology, just pure and utter perfection. Nice work Tom and Jesse! 👏
This guy can really control his vocals
I was just behind the camera recording. It was such a special moment. Tom has such an awesome voice
Perfection.
Singing while standing in a moving tram, with people watching at close range, what's more, the song being sung is a song that has a dynamic tune, any ordinary person would definitely not be able to keep their voice stable.
But he not only sings neatly and steadily, but also beautifully and powerfully.
i mean its not moving that fast so,
He still looks like that little kid who started his singing career almost 20 years ago and, of course, still sounds like him!!
His voice is great but you can feel him when you listen to him. He is full of emotions. Thats what makes him unique. God bless him and the band.
One of the most beautiful songs of all time.
Of all time
It’s not often that a singer has more power than the guitar, seriously good singer
Holy shit. I couldn’t imagine getting on the bus and seeing KEANE. One of my top fave bands of all time. Wow. ❤❤❤
His voice is absolutely insane and this is one of the most beautiful songs and lyrics I've ever seen.
… ‘heard’
Tom's voice is heavenly! What a pleasure it must have been to be in that tram with him and Jesse.
A voice so good, Tom could sing the phonebook, and you'd listen..
He should be a worldwide star.
He is world wide star and famous in Asia
I second that. He's quite popular here in India
...should...he is worldwide known, man.
Ele é um máximo ❤ aqui no Brasil amamos o tom
That was absolutely brilliant! Just 1 singer and a guitarist. Doesn't get much better than that !
No autotune needed, so gifted
This was the "wonderwall" of My generation
Wow he’s even better live
Such a classic song! Toms voice is sublime.
He hasn't aged in 50 years
💯
Tom and Keane are still absolute legends!! Fantastic!! ❤️
One of the things that makes Manchester more beautiful.
Probably the most underrated band I know of !
Fr better than coldplay
Travis and Stereophonics too😢❤
@@nonai7897 I love Keane but Coldplay is legendary mate
@@pushkarreddy16 nah Coldplay is good but keane is better. I get bored half way through Coldplay songs while I can't stop once I start Hope and Fears. Coldplay is more pop and geared towards mainstream and that's why they get more radio play. But Keane is more rock and has better (and deeper) lyrics, melodies, and compositions. And a better singer too! Tom Chaplin sings with so much emotion, has a better voice than Chris and sounds a lot like Freddie Mercury, and Brian May said it himself theyre one of the best bands of recent times. Keane is waaaay better. You can't change my mind.
A band with 561 millions of views (just for one song) is underrated? LOL
Never been a Keane fan but it’s amazing how a live performance can affect you. That was fantastic.
Tom looking at the front so he won't miss his stop. Legend
How bout that, no autotune, no amplifier, no soundboard, just raw talent! Damn.💕🤗🙂
I love this song, it’s extremely evocative.
Him reminiscing about a special place reminds me of how I feel reminiscing about places I loved as a youngster.
Difficult to explain but it’s a wonderful song.
Me Too my friend its very hard to explain its kinda sad too i love it though ❤👊😄
Incredibly lucky people!! Tom Chaplin just keeps getting better. What a voice!!!
his voice is so beautiful..
I’ve sat on trains, underground, buses and planes, and often thought who is actually sat next to me, I mean you could easily pass so many famous and talented individuals without even knowing you’re rubbing shoulders with one of the worlds most talented artists. You never know who is right next to you. My take on this is to love one and love all. Music brings us all TOGETHER. Happy 2024 my fellow human beings.
You too, Nick.👍🏴🎸❤️
It is incredible that a singer of this category sings to you on the bus; one of the most melancholic songs I've ever heard
It's not a bus, it's a tram. Read the title of the video.
@@th8257 Sorry, but does that matter?
Loved this on release, what a fantastic voice, his live street preformance of this in Glasgow is unbelievable!
Tom Chaplin's still got it after all these years.
Tom’s voice comes from deep within his soul and it is so pure. An amazing performance by Keane
One of the Greatest Songs of All Time.... ♥
ABSOLUTE LEGEND
That Martin guitar sounds incredible (considering the shytty video quality). Tom's voice is a Planet Earth's treasure.
This video was posted on the BBC website, so I am not sure why the visual quality ended up so poor, but I think they did record it with very decent kit for BBC Music Day so at least the audio is of good quality 😊
@@KeaneAnalytics Thanks for the details, the sound is indeed good compared to the visual side of the recording.
@jooohan I thought it was all great. I didn't notice anything wrong. I was to busy watching him sing. I love his voice.
The most important part was done right @@KeaneAnalytics
This takes courage
Keane singing while having a train ride? Damn what a peaceful treat
Such a pure voice. I saw Keane in Portland Oregon a few years back. They were so good.
Yes folks that's how you do it....pure talent not many pop stars brave enough to do that....
Always had a brilliant voice range, but seems so much better now getting dry. An inspiration for those of us fighting that battle.
Como que esta volviendo su voz del 2006-2008
this song is sheer perfection. and his voice, mwah. so emotive and pretty.
🙄🙄
What an amazing performance! I saw them last night at the O2 and Toms voice was just sublime! My love for Keane remains since I first saw them 17 years ago!
How lucky you are all in this tram! When I listen to them, I can see the beauty of life!
Wow, He is just awesome, no artificial effects or anything, just pure, beautiful voice!
He sounds better than ever!! Lucky passengers!
I ❤️ Keane!🫶🏻😘
Such a strong and brilliant voice!
Wow what a voice wish I'd been there ❤️not many nowadays could sing like this
It's the other way around. There's MANY. The industry is just not into talent but into $
Tom Chaplin's voice is incredible, smooth and momentarily perfect, I love Keane so much from 2004 to 2005, I'm very proud to listen to them hehehe❤❤❤❤🏴🏴🏴🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Wonderful music from Chile,Viña del Mar.👏👏
Tom is one of the talents that are in extinction. This is how you show how talented you are. Now anyone can call themselves an artist. this guy is master in his craft!
Boys and Girls that's talent ❤
Gosh he sounds better than his younger years ❤ aged well
Absolutely beautiful. Wish I was there
No autotune , just Talented.
Lucky people! It's so nice to see them smiling and showing appreciation for the artists.. thank you Tom and Jesse.. Keane will always be one of my favorite bands ❤
I love Keane's unique sound.
Not many singers can do this. He is a real singer.
What a mind blowing voice and what a masterful delivery in a moving bus no less. What a beautiful band.
Wow,so close,lucky people
when a singer sings a song for his vocal range, the result is perfection 💖💖💖
His vocals are terrific!
Chaplin is one of the greatest voice of all time
Super impressive vocal with no reverb or autotune. Proper pro!
One of the few that can sing without pitch fix and still sound good, old school.👍👍
Tom is right up there as one of my favourite singers of all time.
For me, Sovereign Light Café is one of his songs that I could listen to on a permanent loop, forever and a day.
Te imaginas que vas en el subte o tren y sube Tom Chaplin y bse pone a deleitarte con su talento , eso no tiene precio
I like this “real” version, and thank you for sharing!
I loved his voice in this versión of The Way I Feel
You can always rely on Keane, Top Class.
I’m crying because it’s beautiful as always ❤
Lady, I am too. Keane has a special place in my heart.
My fave is the cute little old man bopping his head from side to side. ❤
keane........❤❤❤
This gets me goose bumps!! Amazing voice
That voices have same at the 2004...."somewhere only we know " this song was remembering me at 18 and now I'm 37...and next we all getting old...
Que ganas de abrazar a Tom!!! Por Diooos....que talentoso es...que belleza su voz.
Now that's music. Beautiful.
Que suerte tienen esos pasajeros
Great song, fabulous band…an amazing voice 👌
The best live interpreter ive seen 100%.Perfect,simple singer
Los verdaderos virtuosos de la música solo necesitan un rincón de un bus, una voz y una guitarra.. no un montón de programas que les arreglen la voz, ni melodías hechas por ordenador, ni escritores que les compongan las letras.
Tremendo Keane ❤
The most beautiful song in the universe ❤
I'm so glad I saw them when they were pretty unknown for £20 a ticket at Liverpool empire......... Will always have that memory🥳
I would have sobbed
Rare voice that sounds like a symphony.
What a voice.... 😮 Incredible.
Te amo Tom ❤🇲🇽
