In real life situations, i agree there are times you need to trap birds and squirrels for survival. But no one traveling in car needs trapping of wild birds for survival. We the Angami's also does the same, same bamboo trap, same trap setting style, same bait and we use bamboo worms too for bait, but now adays people are becoming too lazy to even carry this traditional long bamboo trap in the jungle so most of the people now adays use D-trap...
Even if our elders says " no matter how much we kill , the animal will never vanish" But then they also say birds and animal were plenty when they were kids ! Sadly most birds and animal will vanish in 1 to 2 decade
