The promo battle between the 4 pillars of AEW was great. Each one giving their road to the promotion and why they deserve a shot at the AEW championship.
Wins & loss wise, Jungle Boy deserves it the most seeing that he's been on a hot win streak. However, I'm very happy with this because this is what I was asking for DoN - a 4 way dance between the 4 pillars for the AEW World title. That or an MJF vs Omega dream match.
This was the best segment AEW has ever done… I have never been more interested and drawn in like this since CM Punks return and before that attitude era… please more of this
I love the fact that MJF took a header into the cake. The cake spot is a classic bit, and it is so awesome that he used a Jim Cornette catch phrase right before it happened as Corny is a huge fan of the cake spot himself.
If you watch carefully you can actually see MJF rubbing himself with more cake after the fall to make sure he shows he got it good to sell it even more when he gets up. Heel or not he is a pro.
This has to be the best segment in AEW. I loved these promos for a little detail, neither of these guys sounded monotoned nor did they sound too emotional and whiny, and also in between them exchanging words there weren’t any 30 second breaks, no they went from one man to another to another. I can’t get enough of these guys. AEW gets a lot of hate just because it’s the new company and is doing super well in only 4 years, but I love it and I never will stop.
MJF proving again and again that he's the GOAT. He was literally the glue of this entire segment. Loved seeing him subtly rubbing the cake into his face on the ground to make sure the visual was good when he walked up the ramp.
Whoever produced this segment was a genius! You just never know what you're gonna get on Dynamite and this proved it, maybe the best opening segment of all AEW shows.
Boring wrestler? How lol. His in ring work is as smooth and as good as it gets. Mfs like you need a million flips & piledrivers to not be bored. Take some adderrall kid
It's so strange how far Jungle Boy has come. When he made his debut I thought he was going to out of the company in no time. Now he is a main event level talent in the company. Darby is on a whole different level though.
Darby reminding me exactly why he’s my favorite wrestler in the world. He’s so unabashedly unafraid to be who he is and doesn’t give a damn who dislikes it
Ever since MJF coined the term "The Four Pillars of AEW" this has been a moment, that in all honesty, we didn't know we needed. Until now. This is the push that all of them really needed. Or, at the very least, the opportunity that they needed. We know Darby has improved to the point where his being in this conversation isn't surprising. Glad to hear Sammy and JB cutting decent if not solid promos as well. All of them have been on a journey to this point. I doubt any of them will take the belt off Max. He's too good at this point right now to be dethroned. But, that being said, if any of these three took the belt off him, it'd be interesting. Sammy? Sure, fans will hate it, but just imagine how long he can hold that belt with Jericho going from pride, to jealousy. Probably playing the part of HHH to Sammy's Orton. Darby would be another round of human train wreck spots. And I can't even think of what they'd do with Jungle Boy as champ. Darby at least has Sting behind him.
AEW is already (most likely) running that Triple H/Orton jealously angle with Britt Baker and Jamie Hayter. Although it is an increasingly slooooooooooooow burn, apparently. JB needs to live at the TNT title level for a while. He is nowhere near World Title caliber yet. Darby. The guy has definitely grown with the years, and developed quite the presence and following. I could see him maybe being an underdog World Champion someday. Ala Jeff Hardy etc.
This was a great way to serve as a reminder of the significance of the pillars of AEW and the excitement of the next challengers to the world title. This segment alone made me feel rewarded for being an AEW fan since day one.

This is what I have been waiting for so long in wrestling, 4 young hardworking guys getting their spotlight . Was never possible with mind like Vince in charge

Some fantastic long term story telling here. It’s good thst they didn’t just do this 4 pillars angle and then have them all face off in the beginning. They began the angle, then quickly took them as far away from each other as they could, took all that time to build them all up separately, and now bring them back together for a face off. Brilliant move. This has been something that AEW has been good at. The long term stories.
I like how MJF's run as champ is playing out so far. They're giving him some good storylines and challenges to prove himself, obviously he's not gonna lose the title yet but it's fun storytelling.
This episode of AEW did not feel like it was running on auto pilot. I'm genuinley excited to see how the 4 pillars storyline progresses in the upcoming weeks. And there are many other things that I'm curious about too.
Darby surprised the h311 out of me in this segment. A lot of his stuff has been so monotone, but his confidence on the mic is clearly growing. Sting has been a great mentor it seems.
Incredible what could happen when Dynamite starts with the World Champion in the ring rather than a 20 minute Orange Cassidy match for the 6th consecutive week.
So happy that jungleboy has gotten so much better on the mic because that was his crutch. Never really heard Sammy talk that long and he’s good too. Darby is good on the mic too and I never really hear him speak. He has a mystique and aura about him jungleboy and Sammy don’t have

These 4 have proven they have always been the pillars of AEW. The obvious fatal 4 way is gonna be dope. And I gotta say you could really hear Sting in Darby’s promo
This is just what we fans always wanted to see: the confrontation of all 4 Pilllars of AEW. They're all grown up so much, all have became the champions at least once. *This video just worth a million views.*

He just says then I became a wrestler no backstory on that we just no it's either his 2nd choice or just fell it to it some how. Which gives off a vibe that he prob isn't very good. Dude needs to go to the gym he looks like all 3 would kick the shit out of him easily.
@@L1am21 maybe comprehension is not your forte, anyhow His physique has nothing to do with the argument, you just put it randomly. I mean you expect a backstory on a single promo? We already know his backstory with his previous matches and promos what are you talking about?
The promo battle between the 4 pillars of AEW was great. Each one giving their road to the promotion and why they deserve a shot at the AEW championship.
This was easily one of the best openings in dynamite history 🔥. All four of the pillars have grown so much on the mic and delivered!
What pillars if moxley always hold aew on its back all the time
@@OmegaShadow303 Wrong wording. Moxley held back AEW all this time
@@jonathanoscategui2678 😂😂😂😂😂
Jungle boy is a pillar to you? 😂
When mjf said jungle boy had Christian sammy has jericho and darby allin had sting i lowkey wanted them to say mjf had cody 😂😂😂
He wasn't his daddy though, he was a big brother.
He had William regal
He has CM Punk tho 🤣
Mfj has tony khan
look at 10:32 , Sammy says "Cody" lol
This segment and the promos between the 4 pillars was absolutely Amazing. They all deserve a shot at The AEW Championship.
Wins & loss wise, Jungle Boy deserves it the most seeing that he's been on a hot win streak. However, I'm very happy with this because this is what I was asking for DoN - a 4 way dance between the 4 pillars for the AEW World title. That or an MJF vs Omega dream match.
Not Sammy
Sammy shouldn't have used the term "job guy." He needs to be careful to not go too far out of kayfabe.
Might as well make it a 4-way match.
This was the best segment AEW has ever done… I have never been more interested and drawn in like this since CM Punks return and before that attitude era… please more of this
MJF hugging and trying to rub the cake all in his face and like none of it staying on him is hilarious to me 😂🤣
This is definitely a step in the right direction, giving the guys that built the company along with the other well known names a chance to shine
ALL FACTS NO CAP.
Tremendous, historic segment. One of the best in Dynamite history.
Heel or not he is a pro.
cant beat the cake spot
This has to be the best segment in AEW. I loved these promos for a little detail, neither of these guys sounded monotoned nor did they sound too emotional and whiny, and also in between them exchanging words there weren’t any 30 second breaks, no they went from one man to another to another. I can’t get enough of these guys. AEW gets a lot of hate just because it’s the new company and is doing super well in only 4 years, but I love it and I never will stop.
Darby - The Heart
Jungle Boy - The Soul
MJF - The Mind
Sammy - The Spirit
I think Jungle Boy is the heart and Darby is the soul.
The L
The L
The MID
The L
What a great analogy.
@@Neethan3247 Agreed
As the fifth Pillar, Britt Baker should be The Spirit. Sammy will be The Body.
One of the greatest starts and segments for AEW

Of all the Pillars, the people want Darby to be the champion! Epic moment
MJF proving again and again that he's the GOAT.
He was literally the glue of this entire segment. Loved seeing him subtly rubbing the cake into his face on the ground to make sure the visual was good when he walked up the ramp.
Apparently you don't know what GOAT stands for.

It's so strange how far Jungle Boy has come. When he made his debut I thought he was going to out of the company in no time. Now he is a main event level talent in the company. Darby is on a whole different level though.
Darby reminding me exactly why he’s my favorite wrestler in the world. He’s so unabashedly unafraid to be who he is and doesn’t give a damn who dislikes it
This segment was a masterpiece. These 4 guys are the future of pro-wrestling and every one of them deserve that title.
I agree 💯 if they have fatal 4 way match for the title it would be banger for sure
This is why they are the 4 pillars of aew
@@abhinavsajeev1341 it took forever tho for them to finally have a program together!
Sammi and Darby had good promos. Sammi's promo was the best.
This was a great way to serve as a reminder of the significance of the pillars of AEW and the excitement of the next challengers to the world title. This segment alone made me feel rewarded for being an AEW fan since day one.
I agree.
It’s pretty wild that AEW is in their 4th year. It’s gone by so fast. What a ride it’s been.
@@aaronm8143 now that I think about yeah. Only felt like yesterday that dynamite was still on TNT. Pandemic most definitely had something to do with that tho lol. Aew tv wasn't even 6 months old when the pandemic hit lol
MJF taking shots at Sammy's brawls in the back was gold.

Ustedes AEW me devuelven a esos momentos de lucha libre de fines del 90 y principios de el 2000
The 4 pillar fatal four way yes 🤣10:12 funniest part of the segment
AEW has been booking the world title very nicely so far And now they are putting a match that everyone has been dying for the four pillars, finally facing off against each other.
Of course! MJF is going to have a great reign but there is serious competition to possibly beat him in Darby Alin, Sammy Guevara, Jungle Boy, Wardlow, Ricky starks, Hangman Page, Kenny Omega, and Adam Cole 🔥🔥🔥.
No shortage of high level competition...
they needed to build up the Danielson feud quite a bit more with a match or two but yeah. it's gonna be hard to top the iron man match so this better be huge
@@slick_Ric It's almost as if it shouldn't have been an ironman match.
Looks like they finally found the post-Revolution footing.
AEW finally has a proper World Champion at the helm who actually understands trying to book Top Main Event Championship programs.
I need this Fatal Four Way!!! It had better be at Double or Nothing too, cuz this is about to be legendary.
“That’s pretty stiff…” phenomenal line 😂
“Four pillars” and the only two real pillars are Darby and MJF
This is what I have been waiting for so long in wrestling, 4 young hardworking guys getting their spotlight . Was never possible with mind like Vince in charge
Looks like u have forgot about the OVW 4
Sooo... Cena Orton Lesnar and Batista. To use the AEW analogy, they would be the 4 pillars of the ruthless aggression era. Austin, Rock, HHH, Mankind - Attitude Era. Hogan, Savage, Warrior, Andre - Golden Era. Stop the AEW wank.

Lmfao! One of the best parts of this segment
The 4 pillars of AEW BABY!!!! I have followed AEW from the beginning. So great to see how huge AEW has become.
Dork
This is what AEW should do more often. All 4 of them are AEW homegrown talent.
I like how MJF's run as champ is playing out so far. They're giving him some good storylines and challenges to prove himself, obviously he's not gonna lose the title yet but it's fun storytelling.
Especially not to any of these 3 😂
Love how Max was making sure plenty of cake got on his face 😂
This episode of AEW did not feel like it was running on auto pilot. I'm genuinley excited to see how the 4 pillars storyline progresses in the upcoming weeks. And there are many other things that I'm curious about too.
The 4 pillars of AEW in 1 ring all with one thing in mind: the AEW world championship
Seeing JB and Darby getting their chance at the title would be awesome to watch
Darby killed it bruh oh my god 😂😂😂

This was really good. A+ for everyone in that square circle. A+ on the mic 🎤 from everyone. Keep this going with all 4 of them.
Darby surprised the h311 out of me in this segment. A lot of his stuff has been so monotone, but his confidence on the mic is clearly growing. Sting has been a great mentor it seems.
9:02 Darby: "You know what I'm gonna do if I don't get a title match...I'll just go complain on Twitter..."

This segment was so amazing
Incredible what could happen when Dynamite starts with the World Champion in the ring rather than a 20 minute Orange Cassidy match for the 6th consecutive week.
So happy that jungleboy has gotten so much better on the mic because that was his crutch. Never really heard Sammy talk that long and he’s good too. Darby is good on the mic too and I never really hear him speak. He has a mystique and aura about him jungleboy and Sammy don’t have
