AEW did not really build either up. Cody was the most hated babyface in AEW. Punk spent a lot of time hurt giving the Bucks and Adam Page enough time to start dirt sheet rumors about him and poison the well. It actually took both of them going back to WWE to become Stars again.
Cody helped make aew🤔 so that leaves me with the question of how far on the spectrum are you?
