Utwór G.F. Haendl'a w wykonaniu na dwa fortepiany. Wykonawcy: Leszek Furman i Jan Kwaśnicki. Aranżacja w oparciu o transkrypcję fortepianową Richarda Simma. Realizacja filmu - Wiesław Gawryś.
You guys, made an excellent homage to Handel. he would much appreciate your deed. When I see you performing, open air, two synthesizers, I really understand the perfect sync of Handel's architecture for this music. You make easier to like it more. Great job, congratulations
Handel would be pleased that you nailed this piece. Total perfection and with all the feeling in the world. You left me breathless. Thank you for such magnificence.
Frankly, I never imagined that people would have so much fun with this transcription...! This is what classical music should be all about - getting out there and doing it! Thanks for this cool performance! I love it!
The transcription is absolutely wonderful, as is the performance. Not a minute too long, either. The added creativity by the pianists simply adds to the fun. Now, how am I going to get my harpsichord to add drums and stand up bass?
You own a harpsichord? You must be blessed. You are living my dream, really. I can only dream of it. Who needs anything else other than a harpsichord? A harpsichord is all the instrument you could ever need. Forget the rest.
This is a performance full of immersive feeling that the effulgent Queen of Sheba is likely to appear in front of me . From Tokyo of the Land of the Rising Sun ♨️
Ditto M' Lady. Just watched the season finale last night. . I was looking for a tune to play at my upcoming wedding and I think we are gonna go with this one.
*STREWTH.......B.R.I.L.L.I.A.N.T* *My excuse is I misspent my youth. Personally Shirley I could live with the percussion but not say with a Mouth Organ or teaspoons, best version on the Web*
Truly awesome! So impressed with this performance, and in the garden... two guys doing what they enjoy... what a perfect place to be in life... The only thing that I didn't like about it was the percussion/effects added, they seemed out of place, but that's not spoilt my opinion and instant love of the performance!
The link to the 2-piano Channel above will take you to where you can either download the score digitally or buy it in book form. These clever guys just added the drum kit themselves - it's not in the score...
Brides, if you don't like Pachelbel's Canon in D perhaps consider this for walking up the aisle........................or down........... it doesn't matter.
Some object to the percussion, and I understand that. However, baroque music often needs instrumentation that makes each note clearly defined, and I double dog betcha that Handel would just love this version were he here to hear it.
Digital pianos often have a rhythm section at the push of a button. These excellent men play so well that I don't think the percussion is at all necessary, but I sort of like it anyway...
I don't like the percussion, nor the electronic bon tempi sounding pianos, but the interpretation is outstanding. Very well accomplished playing with lustrous musicality and feeling. I can easily imagine this as a stage performance opening opening a grand ceremony.
Too bad it is all fake, check 1:15 the only connection to the masterkeyboard is power in. No Midi Out, no connection to a pc - yet we hear a crystal clear tone. Very funny, though.
Hardly fake. The performers are clearly playing the right notes. Only the drums are added, and in any case audio is often recorded separately from video when a visual experience is involved. All the great Rodgers and Hammerstein Hollywood musicals were recorded like that, for example.
All it took were two digital keyboards on a grassy lawn one summer day - and the time machine you created took us back to 1748. Unforgettable!
Bravi! Hätte ncht gedacht, dass man das auf zwei E-Pianos so musikalisch inspiriert und temperamentvoll spielen kann. Würde gern mehr sehen und hören!
Perfect, two guys in a garden playing on electric pianos Handel's great music - what's not to love ? !!
These two Senior musicians exposed musical talent the have also teaches the young generations about the togetherness , synchronized mind.

These guys have the right idea.

Once it started getting groovy, I couldn't stop tapping my foot! Bravo lads, what an enjoyable performance!
Handel would be pleased that you nailed this piece. Total perfection and with all the feeling in the world. You left me breathless. Thank you for such magnificence.
You guys are amazing. This performance is such fun - played from memory too!

@@johanna5688 I wish I had the space to place a harpsichord. I'm considering saving and putting it in my bedroom, and I'll just sleep in the couch
Bravi. Fantastici. From Italy.

My favorite music
My interest in this song is sparked by the BBC's "Last Tango in Halifax". Thanks for your rendition. Wonderful!
Ditto M' Lady. Just watched the season finale last night.
. I was looking for a tune to play at my upcoming wedding and I think we are gonna go with this one.

Belle musique je vous adore
I loved all of it. Percussion and jazzy bass lines!

I wanted my bride to do it but she felt too self conscious about it
Silly but good.
I think I hear Handel
@ClarophonistCJ..............Perfection....wot 'appened at 1:26 must have missed it.
The drums were added.
合作默契很棒 希望我也可以 有相同的朋友一起合作 讓我很羨慕
Can you send me the sheet music of the guy in the purple shirt please ?

;D
@Moonbeamzz Addition of drum beats etc
@peter47a sooooooo true. lol
ヘンデルにピアノって意外と合うものだな。
意外ではなく元々合うのは当たり前。

Where is the rhythm section?

jak ktoś słusznie zauważył - do 1:26 świetnie, dalej tandeta
I liked it until the percussion effects were added.. It diminished the music that speaks for ITSELF.
Shame about the drums. Completely unnecessary. Apart from that, you both played beautifully.
+Alan Harley I totally agree.
My music was written in order to entertain people. Why should it be bad adding own elements to it?
RUINED at 1:26 - was very good before that
Too bad it is all fake, check 1:15 the only connection to the masterkeyboard is power in. No Midi Out, no connection to a pc - yet we hear a crystal clear tone.
