I love how you paint with your hands. It's the way you slap on those fat blobs of paint that I find so satisfying. And of course, the way you squeeze the living daylights out of those tubes of paint at the start of every video...! Lol
You’re a great artist, trudging through all obstacles nature throws in your path to capture your inspiration. You don’t have to smile just to please somebody sitting in a comfortable chair in their cozy home.
Bahahaha ahhhhahahaha. Good one. - Serious now: Your snow paintings have always been my favorite - definitely the ones I learn the most from. Thanks, man!
Turner, this video totally cracked me up! It’s not enough that passersby tell us what to do but now we have to smile doing it! I love your finger paintings!! They give so much life and vitality to the scene.
Hello Turner. First of all, I wanted to tell you that you made me laugh with your forced smiles!😁 It's incredible how you manage, with your sketch in a few casual brushstrokes, to let us imagine what your painting will be. And the result is up to our expectations, even beyond. Bravo, it's magnificent. See you soon😊
Haha Turner 😁😁😁 I loved your video I smiled every time you did 😁 your painting is beautiful love it !! the location awesome I love seeing the snow and the magical locations you visit and hearing your thought process gearing you must be so nice to connect with nature while painting in peace I love your paintings if you use your hand or brush I can imagine feeling even more connected to your painting when using your fingers feeling the paint and canvas. 🙏🏼😃
For me, an avid fan, you can just be you and smile when you want or squint for the light, its all fine as long as you enjoy yourself and keep on making those wonderful paintings, the more fingerpaintblobbyness the better! say hi to your friend Antonin!
At some point you reach a point in your life as an artist where you feel a certain routine work. You have the urge to redesign and discover yourself. Be it an illustration or a depiction of nature, open new paths for the mind and enrich artistic creation immensely, and that's exactly what's exciting. I really enjoy watching your videos, they radiate calm. Best regards from Germany
Thank you so very much for sharing your work. You are an inspiration to us all. I have to say I LOVE your finger painting! I started using the same method to help me loosen up. It is fun and fast. Especially since I work in acrylic. Thanks again.
I realized and appreciated the way you laid in the dark background blurred. Then, the next layer blocking in shapes. Then the next layer, paying attention to the detail you want to bring out. Then immerse into your feelings with your hands and your colors that make your painting come alive. A note of caution with all those cheeky smiles, you may deter from your two fisted painter image.🙏
Wonderful work. Always a pleasure to watch. But I have to say, I was a little disappointed that you didn’t frown when the clouds came in on the first day.
I have to admit, I love your brush paintings more than the ones you do with your hands, but that's not to say your hand paintings aren't good.....they're amazing too! I just love how you put the paint down with a brush. I had to look up Aspen trees because they looked like birch trees to me, and found out their leaves are different! So cool. Beautiful trees!
You don't have to go to all the effort to smile. You smile in your work and celebrate the joy that you feel as you paint. I see it in all of your videos. BTW, what TH-cam camera died? I thought you used an Iphone for your videos. I love your paintings. To me, they are images of nature in all of its strength and constant flow of movement. I try to do the same but I am too bridled.
Very nice, I am inspired to go out into the snow and try some plein air this weekend on Cape Cod. I assume you stretch your own canvases...can you please tell me what size stretcher bars you use? TYVM
You need to understand colour better...nice sense of freedom...but work on colour. See the work of Tom Thomson for new insights. Conenct to nature deeply. Start to see how light plays...among the shadows.
I don't care if this guy is selling his paintings for $100,000; there's no way he's turning a profit if he squeezes out that much paint each time he paints. lol
Crappy formulaic painting again Turner, it says nothing. Just blobby oil paint here there and everywhere. If they sell knock them out I guess, you gotta make a living. Are your workshops churning out lots of TV wannabes? Hope not, just something to enjoy and influence. Give that damn finger painting bs away, it’s way past its use by.
Jim Reid, where the heck have you been??? How are you, how’s the family? All the love and positivity was starting to get to me, glad you’re back to keep me grounded.
You can keep trying to ground me, Jim, but always know that my aim is solely to seek out negative comments from you. It keeps me on my toes. Stay tuned…I gotta a good one coming up. Can’t wait to see what wonderfully eloquent diss you’ll cook up.
@ In fairness I’ve given praise too where merited. Just give that damn finger painting away, the results look like something to be slid into the pizza oven. Can’t you hear the paint tubes screaming as you squeeze out the contents….aaaargh!
You can smile or not. I still will watch your videos.
Спасибо большое, смотрю и учусь, нравится ваш стиль живописи!

Beautiful work, Turner! Great video.
I only paint intuitively. I love painting loose as well. Your videos have helped me get through tough times. Thank you
Sure made me smile a lot!:))))

So lucky to have so much snow at your place Turner, wish we had it here. Nice painting, those sneaky clouds eh.. and failed weather forecasts :D

Very inspirational, always enjoy watching your painting process
Thank you for sharing your thoughts on composition while painting plein air. Oh, and thanks for the smiles.😁.

Great painting! I can see you live painting the snow. I never knew 'Aspen' was more than a place. Live and learn.

I am both terrified and enamored by how much paint you use 😂 keep it up ❤

I should also add that your brush paintings show the light in the composition so much better! It's clearer than the hand paintings.

In my beautiful country, Romania, there is a traditional dance like you had in the snow for a place to arrange the easel. The dance name is Bătuta,

Really nice painting..but how do you transport that painting with so much paint on the canvas?! That's really thick paint!
❤
😁

sound of the scraping the pallet - is this acrylic you use?
I am dying laughing
Скоро будешь опой жрисовать ?😁
I try to watch your videos... but there is a hum in the back ground that is too annoying... hope you fix that...
Hmmm, sorry about that. I don’t hear it on my end.
@@turnervinson have others check it out... you have a couple that don't have that hum... could be youtube doing it...
I watched it on my tv, computer, and phone and don’t hear it. I’ve also never had anyone else mention it, but maybe others will chime in.
