Lovely video Linda. Brought back memories of when my wife and I did them in the 90s. The only time I was ever in the mountains and had a perfect cloud inversion!
Hi Linda, What a fantastic place! Wow 32 years since my visit to the area, Stac pollach, Quinag, Sulvain,,Conival,Ben More Assynt, Binnien Mor + Na Gruagaichean a very happy time in the mountains! Have fun! Mark Shaw.
Great video . . . it brought back happy memories of when I was on these great mountains in April 2019 and back in August 1979. My favourite day on them though was my first ascent in 1966 from Duchally in Glen Cassley when I went up via Ben More's 3,200 ft South Top . . . the ridge walk from it to the main top is seriously cool and very rarely visited.
Nice and relaxing video to watch Linda, glad you got views this time around 🏔 such a remote and rugged part of our beautiful country 🏴 looking forward to watching more of your road trip 🚙 atb Brian 👍
Chanced upon this video (4 months late)-whilst dreaming of things to do in the future. The first of yours I have watched Just wanted to say what an excellent video -presented in such a genuine way- some brilliant and atmospheric views. Many Thanks
Smashing Linda, you seem to love the remote areas, me too, I've fished in that area a lot over the years, great place to lose yourself for a few days. Subbed.. look forward to your next adventure. ATB.
Great doubler these 2 Linda and a really nice walk following the river with all the wee waterfalls to get to them.I found the distance between them deceiving standing on Conival and thinking i'll be on Ben More in no time.... Took a lot longer than i thought with all the ups and down,lol..🤣 Not many to go for you now.😃👍
Gorgeous 360 to start with and when you started hiking the weather looked a bit suspect but it was great when you got to the summit, real nice views and I always love a summit shelter when I get there. The forecast may well be bad for the next couple of days but you had a great days hiking there, cheers Alan
Thanks Alan. I definitely made the right decision to climb these two when I did. Although it was cloudy, it was warm with no wind…perfect conditions. Thanks for watching. 👍
Enjoyed watching that Linda, I've got those two to do and will def be keeping them for a good day. Look forward to seeing the rest of ur trip - hope ur camping at Sands went well, I enjoy staying there.
Thanks Selwyn, not so well I’m afraid the weather was pretty awful! One afternoon was dry & sunny so got a walk & down to the beach before the rain started again. 👍
@@LindaOutdoors Not so good Linda. It's certainly lovely when the weather is good but if ur not sheltered down by the dunes then it can be rough in the wind and rain.
Thanks for another great Video Linda. We still have these two to do. We have done a number of the Assynt Corbetts and can thoroughly recommend them. Hope your Skye trip is/was successful. We just finished the Skye Munros last Thursday with Am Basteir. Regards Roy
@@LindaOutdoors Don't know if this comment will help you, but we didn't find the Inn Pin too bad. We are not rock climbers at all and only got involved in ropes because it is needed to get all the Munros done ! We are 62 and 64, and I have abused my body for many years, so am not very supple ! From what I have seen of your videos you will be fine. Good luck. Regards Roy
Assynt is spectacular! Like Monument Valley with heather. Conival and Ben More Assynt are a great day out - glad you had such a great day. Thanks for uploading and capturing it so well, Linda. 🏴⛰👍
Wonderful video Linda, and amazing views. Assynt is beautiful and along with Glen Affric my favourite part of Scotland! Thank you for sharing your day. 😀🥾⛰🏴
I was up there a few weeks ago in glorious sunshine and loved the views. After walking over those rocks and scree I also enjoyed cooling my feet down in the Glenn’s stream heading back to the Carpark. Bliss. Great upload. Look forwards to the next one Linda 👍🏻
Thanks for the video, heading across (from my home near Aberdeen) to do this on Thursday. Guess it would be okay to take the push bike for the first wee bit? Thanks
You could do but the track doesn’t last long then you’re onto a boggy grassy path. I think the path that runs parallel with the river is too narrow for a bike. The walk in isn’t too long and is pretty scenic. Hope you enjoy! 👍
Hi, I don’t have the exact time unfortunately but took photos on the summit of Ben More Assynt at 1pm so guessing it took me at least 5 hours. It’s only an hour or so between the 2 Munros. Walk highlands state the whole route takes 8.5 to 10 hrs. Hope that helps. 👍

Perfect viewing as I wait for my meal to rehydrate while I'm up a mountain in the lakes👍
Ahh, enjoy your trip! Hope the weather’s as good as I got that day. 👍 Thanks for watching. 🙏
@@LindaOutdoors it's a bit breezy but that keeps the midge's away lol and it dry so all's good.

Nice one Linda. Great hills! I'm hoping to do some of the Corbetts up that way this summer. Just love the colours in the rocks up there. Cheers!

Linda why have you started calling it a beelack The Bealach na Bà the Applecross Pass. Is the correct way to say it. Sorry its a bug bear of mine.
Gaelic pronunciation not my strong point I’m afraid but I usually get that word right! 👍
