It looks to me like it is possible to use a mountain bike to get from Attadale to loch Calavie which would make doing these two remote munros in one day much easier, although I can see the appeal of walking in and spending the night at the bothy or in a tent.
What a lovely video Linda and what cracking weather you had for them. Just checked my log and it's just over 20 years since I did these two but you had much better weather. The excellent bothy doesn't look to have changed much in 20 years either. Cheers.
Thanks Alan. It was a fantastic couple of days either side of pretty awful weather. It’s a nice wee bothy and very welcome after the big trek from Attadale. 👍
Wow! What a stunning day and what fantastic weather and views you had! Thanks for uploading, Linda and showing the way (hills with signposts on, wow again!) 🏴⛰👍
Great weather u got for these 2 Linda.Views were amazing.I done these 2 last year with only a small window of a view on Cheesecake.Long way in/out for these ones and i took the bike to ease the distance.Hope u got the weather for Conival/Ben More.😃👍
I was looking for a video of another walk and yours came top. I realised we had met each other on these hills and last year near Corrour bothy. I'm delighted to see you have now completed. Gillian with the ebike.
Hello Gillian, I was so jealous when you passed me heading back down the track on your bike to Attadale (or should I say up, down again & up 😂). That was some track!!!I drove to Assynt that night and did Ben More Assynt & Conival the next day. Great to meet you, good luck with your adventures…you’re inspirational! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Great to see you getting such lovely weather Linda, it's over 30 years since I climbed these hills and hoping to visit them again soon, great seeing you and you're friends enjoying such nice conditions. A really enjoyable video and lovely seeing you nearing you're goal. Stay safe and can't wait for you're next adventure. 👍
I am guessing you were under the influence of a polar or Arctic air mass. That level of visibility in the UK is very rare, and I would normally associate it with northerly winds on the east side of an anticyclone.
All I can say is 2 days later we had dreadful wet & windy weather for 5 or 6 days and I had to alter all my plans. You definitely can cycle up to Loch Calvie but in parts the going is very steep & most people would have to get off & push both on the way in & the way back. The bothy is fab for an overnighter though. 👍 Thanks for watching.
Just catching up with this Linda. Scenery that you’ll never tire of. 👍
Thanks Ronnie. 👍
And that is why we do this thing called hillwalking - a brilliant day and great wee film!
It’s great when all the hard work is worth it for the views. Thanks for watching. 👍

Thanks Nick, yes signposts were useful. Guessing it’s to keep walkers away from deer stalking areas. It was a fab day. Thanks for watching. 👍🙏

Thanks Andy, I did get good weather in Assynt. Definitely the right decision as the weather was awful for the whole of the following week. 👍
