- The day of my final Munro had arrived, Càrn Mòr Dearg. The route started from The North Face car park, Torlundy.
It had been a fairly long Munro journey (31 years) and I celebrated on the summit with 16 friends from Polmont Hillwalking Club and my daughter Racheal.
A celebratory meal had been booked for that evening where a few other friends were joining me.

Very well done Linda and real pleased that the weather played ball with you and brilliant that you had family and friends with you to enjoy the experience as well. It was also a beautiful day weather wise and you were able to show off the magnificent cliffs of Ben Nevis. So what next? Is it the Corbetts, Grahams, Donalds maybe? Your commentary alluded to you exploring the area of Assynt, which is a beautiful area. I have thoroughly enjoyed watching all your videos and I hope you continue to post more in the future. Congratulations again on a wonderful Munro compleation.

I have done this twice, first time it was a super sunny day all day, views were exceptional, I will never forget that day........ Just Perfect.
My second visit was with a friend, I had been talking up S N G so much prior to going that my heart sank when on the day, it was overcast, and S N G had a huge hat on it all the time we were walking up, but the sun came out just as we were approaching the summit, the pair of us could not believe our luck...... a proper mountain with the most amazing views.

@@davidherd1855 I did it with a guide but gusts were 40-50 I think! With the exposure, my inexperience & the wind it was almost too much. 👍

So pleased youve done them all Linda, well done. I haven't been on line for a few weeks so missed this. Muriel Grey also put the idea in my head many years ago, i'm just 280 behind you unfortunately! Hopefully you'll keep the videos coming especially if you are heading into Assynt, as a geologist that is a pretty special area for me and one which I fully intend to explore from next year onwards. Thanks for your vids.

@@LindaOutdoors Brought back all the memories of my own compleation 10 years ago. Good friends, champagne at the top, big party afterwards. Everything apart from the weather as it was rain, wind and mist all day for me. ha ha.

Hi Linda, Firstly many many congratulations on the completion of this mighty feat. I only came across your chanel over the last few months and i have really enjoyed watching your videos. I literally can not believe you have been walking/hiking for over 31 years. I was completely stunned by this. I am always in awe of your walking/hiking abilities. You made it look so easy but i know it can be anything but easy. I turned 50 this year and i would love to be able to walk as freely as you but i'v got awful arthritis in both knees and one ankle. It doesn't help that i'm super unfit. Watching your videos has given me so much joy and you are a true inspiration to so many. I wish you all the very best wishes on your next big adventure in the beautiful Scottish highlands. Many congratulations again on such an epic achievement and what a lovely bunch of guys and gals you walk with. The beautiful gesture they gave you at the end of the walk with the walking poles was so lovely and so was your evening celebration. I really enjoyed this video. xx

I always walked in the great outdoors though, you don’t have to climb a Munro to experience the benefits it brings. 🙏

Congratulations on compleating the Munros in a quick 31 years, took me 41 years. You will have seen some significant changes in kit we all rely on now from when first starting. Although a map / compass & watch are still my go to trusted items. (GPS for emergencies). Onward and upward to the next hill.
