When my Omnilux dies, which might be later this year since I have to recharge every other time now after three years, I will probably buy Maysama mask. I'll use it like I do my Omnilux, on both my face and neck/dec. No need for another device, just takes a few minutes longer in the morning. Meanwhile I'm going to experiment with green rooibos tea on one side of my face before using my Omnilux to see if there is a difference.
I’ve been going down the rabbit hole of Red Light Therapy devices. I really like the owner of this company, but it’s never mentioned in her interviews or on the website, if her devices are FDA cleared ? I’m not happy about the return policy. It can only be returned if it is new & unused, so no 30 or 60 day guarantee is offered. There is a one year warranty on the devices, which is ok, but other companies offer 2-3 year warranties. Just wanted to put this info out there for other’s considering making a purchase with Maysama. All of these policies can be due to the fact that the company is still very new. I’m still considering purchasing either the mask or panel from Maysama, despite the return & warranty policies. It makes the decision challenging because of all the other LED options on the market right now.
Thank you for a wonderfully informative interview! I just purchased the Evenskyn Venus for eyes and mouth and wondered if I could multitask by doing this in front of the panel?
Hi Tina. We generally recommend that you wear goggles with Maysama's Pulse40 LED Light Therapy panel due to the high intensity (irradiance) of the light, so it would be better to use your Venus in a separate routine. Best wishes. Bev
Thank you for this video. I’ve been using the serum with my panel and was happy to hear more about how it all works. So if I’m understanding correctly, with non pulse let, you get buildup of free radicals which is going against anti-aging benefits, so you could overdose in that way, but with pulse led, the opposite?
I have been debating with myself about all the masks and your informative and insightful video gave me my answer. I just ordered my Maysama mask. Thank you!
This was fascinating and I really enjoyed learning more about the topic. I was a bit bummed that the question I posted wasn’t asked, but I can always reach out to Maysama directly for the answer.
@@beautybeyond40 It says I posted it three weeks ago, although it's not showing me the actual date. I should have been more concise though because the question got wrapped up in my comment. I was wondering about using the rooibos serum with LED. On their website it says to not wash it off post LED, but I need to wash mine off because it's too dark for my skin tone. So I'm wondering why it needs to stay on the skin post LED, and if its still benefiting me if I wash it off instead.
Hi. Ideally you would leave it on because the antioxidants will serve you well for the rest of the day for antioxidant protection and repair but. You only need a tiny amount - 1 pump for face and neck. If you prefer to wash it off after your treatment however, enough of the serum will have been absorbed by your skin to enjoy the benefit of amplifying your red light treatment. When she said that red light does not aggravate melasma or dark spots, does that mean that the pulse light does? I am not clear on whether the pulse light is red only? I have been using the pulse light for 6 minutes but will switch to whatever is best for my melasma. Thank you.
She is specially talking about NIR aggravating melasma - not pulsed light. Pulsed light can be any color, so if you're concerned, you can use her pulsed light setting with just red light and not NIR. So just make sure NIR is turned off for your 6 minute session if you're concerned about melasma.
@@beautybeyond40 THANK YOU so much! I have been using the pulsed light every night but also having problems with my melasma and not seeing as much improvement as I would have expected. I know this panel has 3 set pulsing rates. However, I am wondering if a higher pulsing rate of say 100hz is okay, seeing that such a rate is not discernable to the eye.

I'd be curious to know what the results are of the serum applied POST treatment instead. Do you get the same bump? A reduced bump? No bump? I tend to run hot, so having product on my face before I use an LED mask (which traps heat against my face) can make me a little sweaty, especially in the summer.
I do not believe there are any data points for your specific question - since the tests were run specially to show the acceleration of results when using pulsed LED as it allow the cells to "suck in" the serum per the animation I included in the video. I don't think you would see the same of results if you put on the serum after since that's not when the optimization occurs. I recommend getting her pulsed panel so you can apply the serum and not have to worry about sweaty silicone against your face. It's only a 6 minute treatment with the mask thought, so maybe you can use it without getting too sweaty - or sit in front of a fan?
This was a lovely and insightful video. Thank you. I am right now not able to buy her great products. But I appreciate being informed in an authentic way. Once again, I appreciate all of the effort ❤
