My mother made the WORST sauteed zucchini! She didn't use oil (the wisdom of the day), she tried to saute in water. And she boiled them down til there was nothing left but skins with a few seeds clinging to them. Yours looks much better!
This is what I learned: before sautéing: sprinkle generous amount of salt on the zucchini slices, wait 15 min and remove water with paper. That's it. Works a dream.

I think, when you cook greatly healthy veggies you should not add anything less healthy like butter. Meat, eggs and dairy are the baddies in a kitchen.
There are so many people these days, including many doctors and nutritionists, who do not agree that those things are bad. That is a statement of belief (that could be based on faulty information) made like a statement of fact. Grains and vegetables usually cause me a massive amount of pain and problems, but when eating a diet largely of meat, eggs, butter and some dairy I have none of those problems. (I am 65, not diabetic, non-obese, have good blood pressure and lab results.) IMO butter is wonderful - I don't see how I could live without it.
Like someone else said, I don’t agree that these foods are inherently bad. I’m a big believer in vegetables but in my kitchen, there will always be a place for unprocessed meat, eggs, and dairy. FYI, the processed vegetable oil industry lobbied (and still does) to convince the public that butter is bad. I understand your sentiment,but how about sharing a healthy vegan alternative? I’m thinking maybe toss the zucchini in fresh minced garlic,finely grated onion, and unfortified nutritional yeast and bake in an oven or air fryer.

I cooked two batches, just have to clean the pan after each batch or else the butter will burn.

Meat, eggs and dairy are the baddies in a kitchen.
There are so many people these days, including many doctors and nutritionists, who do not agree that those things are bad. That is a statement of belief (that could be based on faulty information) made like a statement of fact. Grains and vegetables usually cause me a massive amount of pain and problems, but when eating a diet largely of meat, eggs, butter and some dairy I have none of those problems. (I am 65, not diabetic, non-obese, have good blood pressure and lab results.) IMO butter is wonderful - I don't see how I could live without it.
Like someone else said, I don’t agree that these foods are inherently bad. I’m a big believer in vegetables but in my kitchen, there will always be a place for unprocessed meat, eggs, and dairy. FYI, the processed vegetable oil industry lobbied (and still does) to convince the public that butter is bad. I understand your sentiment,but how about sharing a healthy vegan alternative? I’m thinking maybe toss the zucchini in fresh minced garlic,finely grated onion, and unfortified nutritional yeast and bake in an oven or air fryer.
