IMPORTANT PSA: Do not buy the map tab in PoE 1 for PoE 2; there is currently no Waystone map tab in PoE 2. This is subject to change as it is early access. I expect it to come soon, but hold off for now.

@@FalsePrelate thanks mate for quick reply okay i will buy them when we get discount also if after that i wanna buy the poe2 exile stash bundle will the stash tabs i own allready be discounted or removed from the bundle
Just a quick note about this to ease people's minds: if you go the stash settings you can set to view all hidden tabs (tabs that do not currently work in poe2). You check your maps tab, it will say coming soon, in the other tabs that are hidden it does not say that
I really like your guide, especially reminding people to wait until EA before buying tabs. A lot of people are making assumptions about how tabs will convert to POE2, but I agree its best to wait and verify.
very useful, thank you. I played a little path of exile 1 but felt it was way too complex. Path of exile 2 looks ALOT more simplified and user friendly. Was a massive Diablo 2 fan but nothing ever came close to that nostalgia for me until I saw Path of exile 2. can't wait.
Hey guys. For those who don't know, stash tab sales happen on a schedule. The next stash tab sale will be on December 5/6 and will essentially coincide with the release of Poe2 EA, so I would take his advice and wait until ea to purchase.
After seeing the presentation I am just buying the 100 dollar pack. I have played Poe 1 on ps5 for like 60 hours for free but never really got into the endgame. I am happy to support the devs and just have all the tabs I need from the start of poe2.
GGG run regular sales on things like stash tabs, so be patient and pick them up when they're reduced. Currency tab is, I think, the best choice for first purchase since currencies stacks will overload Pretty sure premium isn't required to buy items from players and playing trade of exile is optional although does tend to be promoted heavily by writers of build guides. Anyone who is going SSF (solo self found) won't need them at all. I've played that way since the original beta and never bothered with trading, if a unique drops that's great but I don't pin my dreams of endgame on a single rare item.
This is a great video for beginners like me I guess i'm gonna start with 1 quad and 1 currency and then save the rest of the points until i get a better understanding of the game
If you think you might ever spend any more money on the game don't buy the normal tabs or upgrades... just get Currency Tab, Map Tab, Quad tab. Because when you spend money later you're unlikely to want to use more than one or two smaller tabs for selling... Quad tabs are just SO much nicer to use. Map tab may not even be required anymore, as we won't need to have a slot for every different type of map for every different tier. Waystones are just tier and that's it... so 16 slots total + presumably precursors will go in there... I reckon you might be better off just having another quad tab, and just set your map affinity to one of your base small tabs.
@evilme73 the usefulness of having a couple of smaller tabs is that you can set a whole tab price for say 5c items, and just dump all of your 5c items in that tab without having to price each one. Then you can have other smaller tabs for a couple of price points. When things don't sell you can just shift them to the cheaper sale tab. But I agree the quad is really nice as a dump tab.
Speaking as someone who has 9 normal tabs thanks to having played back in ye olden days when premium and normal tabs were the only things you could buy, yeah this is good advice. However, if you're like me and you have those excessive normal tabs, I'd say upgrade them, or at least some of them. After buying a Quad for the first time in Settlers, I plan on upgrading half of my normals to premiums the next time a sale goes up so that I can do the whole "sell in bulk at generic prices" thing, and grabbing another Quad to use as a dump while I use my first quad as the "things I actually need to price individually" tab.
@@Avram42 Because a giant proponent of PoE is the trading scene. Unless you're gonna go SSF (Solo Self-Found) then you're going to have to trade to maximize any build. Particularly due to only a small subset of drops actually being focus-farmable from pinnacle encounters. SSF is more of a personal challenge mode. You go into it knowing that you're never going to be able to match the feats of character power that the game allows by virtue of being restricted to your own drops. Trade and economy is the real endgame of PoE. Its what gives your time value without actual RMT getting involved.
Depending on how many of them actually make it over from PoE1 to PoE2, a fragment tab is really nice for organization if nothing else. Scarab auto-sorting into a different section for each content type is really nice, for instance.
Assuming maps/waystones carry over, my recommendation is -on sale, get maps and currency and upgrade only one tab to use for sales, it’s enough at start. Save the rest of the points and see what other special tab you need later! My personal choice was essences and later fragments but it’s impossible to tell now, I had no issues personally with only one premium
"Wait for a sale" - I hope there's a sale close to the start of EA, otherwise it's going to feel bad deciding between using the currency and saving it for a sale.
I agree 100%. My suggestion if a sale doesn't come is to just buy a currency tab and do 1 or 2 premium tab upgrades for trading access and save the rest of your points for the sale.
@@MoistYoghurt Wait for a sale, but make sure that you get at least one premium stash tab, otherwise you won't be able to use the trade feature to public. I spent years playing solo self found, but after being able to trade, it makes it so much easier to get the items you need for your build.
Respect your time! Waiting always also has an opportunity cost. On such a fresh game, I would absolutely not recommend new players to wait with buying crucial QoL things like the must have tabs! Just enjoy the game to the fullest now, imho. Also, it‘s something I found out somewhat recently, because I always wondered about that aspect: you don’t *need* a premium stash tab to trade with other players! You can list your items on the market by listing them on the forums in a personal thread with the correct commands. Don’t know if they keep that in poe2; if so, you could trade without a premium tab. But that’s just theory; don’t actually do that. A single premium stash tab is rather cheap 😅
Useful for me dude, thank you. I’m a filthy casual who only really got into it very late and only up to act 3 on the campaign, just looking at your stash tabs made me realise I have massively massively neglected my stash, it’s got a little bit of tat on one tab but I never really learned about gear and properly upgrading it, I really am looking forward to getting to grips with it all properly in PoE2 :) I need a video deep diving into stash and how to keep my inventory optimised haha
Very helpful. I've never played POE and thought about jumping in now that II is out. Then I found out it wasn't free until next year unless you buy early access for $30. I'm like, okay, I've spend more for less. Then I see it comes with in game currently. I'm like, WTF are these for? I found you video and... ooohhhhh, now I know. Thanks for the suggestions.
Since it seems like there will be a lot of different omens, i hope they either get a spot in the currency tab, or a special omen tab.. (convert one of the poe 1 special tabs to omen tab. Not shure the map tab will be as usefull.. depends if waystones stack or not.
I'll just keep the 300 pts and save them for when i actually need them. For now, just playing the game normally without MTX is the way to go. Enjoy the game at a nice slow pace, no need to rush this experience.
Option 4: currency tab, 1-3 premium stash tab upgrades, save the rest to see if PoE2 has any new tab types that are very useful. Do I understand correctly that you’ll start with a few non-premium tabs that can be upgraded? I was a bit surprised with the 5 tab upgrades of option 1 without purchasing any standard tabs
This is why i bought the 92,4 Euro pack :D 1000 points nothing toworry about. If they manage to do a semi-stable launch and the game is as good as it looks i will definetly upgrade to give them more money.
10:16 would it not be advantageous to get a premium quad instead of of the 3x premium and one of the premium upgrades? just to have the dump tab for mapping? assuming the quad is 4x the space you'd get more space out of it, but would just have one tab not upgraded to premium.
Having a few quads is more important than having stacks of regular tabs. If you had infinite money to spend on the game then you'd probably just buy almost all quads since it fits more stuff on screen at once. But from the perspective of a relatively small buy in, just having a bunch of tabs gives you more options. You can still dump to the regular tabs.. they just fill up fast. But when you go to sell you can list one tab as 5c, the next as 8c, the next as 12c and the next as 20c. If you have just the one quad tab you can only easily set a single price for the 4 tabs worth of space in it.
I get it. They aren't doing a sale to maximize profit. However, it won't not feel scummy. They do sales so often but they always time them when the least amount of people will notice or take advantage of it
Every 3 weeks. Though the release of PoE2 EA maaaay cause a slight disruption. But it's normally every 3 weeks. If you are new and just barely missed a sale it might justify buying a currency tab at full price, wasting ~$1.50 in points to get it ~18 days sooner. But that's pretty much it. Normally we just wait for next sale. It's probably next weekend aligned with PoE2 EA release.
it is not sales on premium stash tab bundle? 200 to ...160 for instance? , anyways if it doesn't exist, I will wait offer to buy the normal bundle (120) plus 6 upgrades (60)
THanks man , i have played POE in the past and somehow i have an currency tab already in there maybe i was pissed off about it and bought it , was so long ago that i don't even remember , so thanks for the video , not sure what to priotize first.
Yep, there's actually a bunch of them. They've changed the map series a bunch of times, that's one of the older ones. You can actually update them to the new series just by vendoring them (1 for 1), but some people like to keep the old ones anyway. It's not like maps are in short supply lol. There's also some maps, like Gorge, that've been removed entirely and never come back. Note that this is all on Standard league, the place where nearly all of PoE's history (like broken legacy items) can be found.
Thank you! Will being playing poe for the first time during poe2ea so I'm doing a bunch of research and this is super helpful. For the sales I'm assuming they come around during holidays right or is it random?
It's every third weekend. Probably this weekend, December ~6th-8th. Then Dec 27th-29th. HOWEVER, the PoE2 early access itself might disrupt the schedule. iirc, league launches have delayed the sale by a week before. So it might be 13th-15th instead to give new players a chance to figure out what tabs they feel like they want. But it's normally every 3 weeks.
How does the selling from tabs work? I heard you talk about it numerous times but I haven't played PoE before Do other people buy things from your tabs like some sort of AH/GE ? Or will all those items be sold after a countdown?
Basically, the premium tabs allow you to list an item on the trade website. Other players will be able to see it and message you to buy it. The trading is not automatic. You can still buy items without a premium tab; you just need the premium tab to list items for sale. publicly.
@@DaMobzz There is an in game auction house for small currencies, so the only thing you will need to trade out of the stash will be armour and other equipment. So it's not too tedious to trade.
Greetings! I really enjoyed your video, however, I have a question! Would you suggest someone with 600 points to make the same purchases you recommended at the end of the video for endgame? If so, what should one spend their remaining 300 points on? Thank you in advance!
I suggest fragment tab in the endgame version even though he doesn't. Even in the 300. BUT, as he says, it's important to make sure the tabs transfer properly- or I supposed most importantly that there isn't something super vital that only has a PoE2 version. eg, if maps exist or potentially will exist in PoE2 they might have waystones be a whole different system with it's own tab. This won't be known for sure until release unless they specifically confirm one way or the other. So this is the PoE1 setup. Note that even if it doesn't transfer properly... PoE2 is early access so after you get bored of it for now just take a little break and play the next PoE1 league until more of PoE2 is released. Here's basically what we have to work with: Currency 60 Map 120 Fragment 55 Quad tab 120 6 premium tabs 165 Divination card 40 Essence 30 Upgrading tabs you already have 10-40 (less efficient/money) single premium tabs, single regular tabs, 6 regular tab sets... 30, 20, 110 respectively So if you want to use everything on tabs, I would probably suggest: Currency 60 Map 120 Fragment 55 Quad tab 120 6 premium 165 Leaving 80 left over. Divination and essence are niche in their own ways. Upgrading more tabs to premium or buying more generic tabs may be more useful. It is unclear if these will transfer over. Divination cards are essentially fractions of a particular item or items. So most are useless and the expensive ones are rare and you'd probably want to pull out for selling even just as a single card. So the stash tab isn't super useful- however it's not so expensive and lays the cards out so you can see the face and let's you sort them by "all" "full set" "partial set" "unowned". Essences are one of the most popular ways to craft in PoE1. If you farm these for profit you'll get a ton of them and be glad you have a tab sorting them out for you as they look pretty similar. Otherwise you'll just buy what you want in bulk and use them. In this case where you aren't farming them but just buying as needed the tab isn't so useful. Again, things may be different for PoE2 so might want to wait- should wait for a sale to get these prices anyway. But you're buying tabs for both games at the same time so it's not a total waste so long as you get the best tabs for PoE1. Also, it should be noted that occasionally... a few times a year maybe they give you a random MTX from their new box (priced at 50 points normally) with any purchase. The cheapest MTX is 5 points. So if you end up with just a few points left over this might be more interesting for you than buying one more tab upgrade or whatever.
@redfish337 This is incredibly useful. I wholeheartedly appreciate your answer. Since I do wish to go for tabs exclusively, especially for endgame quality of life, I'll follow your instructions. Keep in mind that I'm a complete PoE noob, I have never played PoE1 before and I'm unfamiliar with the system, thus my seeking help here.
@@SolarKnight14EightyEight Good luck. The main tip I have about PoE is your first character will be bad. And your second one will be noticeably better but still bad. It's normal. It's a learning experience.
@@redfish337 One more question. If I were to spend said points during early access, will my tabs transfer to the "normal" league post release, or will they be locked to the early access "realm"; compelling me to make SEPARATE tab purchases for the official release league?
I picked up the Currency Tab because there's no world in which THAT is a thing still, but def waiting till about a week into EA for further guilds like this to drop/see what I feel I need before spending the rest of the coins. I guess well all need at least one Premium Tab as well, but as someone that didn't go super hard on PoE1 (the 'buff a single ability' and 'follow a build guide or you WILL Bork your build and fail' bit really rubbed me the wrong way. BOTH 'gone' in 2!) I don't know if I'll need that Day 0, or if it's something that can wait till I'm into End Game.
You don't "need" them; you can play the entire game without them. But, it will be very convenient to have at least the currency stash tab for organization.
You get your full set of stashes you've ever bought in each and every league. All characters in a league share the same stash. Variations such as hardcore/softcore and solo-self found / trade count as different leagues, at least in PoE1.
Bro any help appreciated, but when playing with a friend. When loot drops it seems that its first come first served, like for instance we do a boss 6 items drop and my friend can just grab it all, or vice verser. Like why
As for how much stuff is worth... You can't really tell because the game is new. People don't really know yet. For PoE1 it's mostly game knowledge. However there are item filters that more or less hide everything of no value and show you the high value stuff in increasingly fancy sounds and colors. These aren't available in PoE2 yet because game just released. You can look up currencies and uniques on poe ninja. You can also look up the item on the official poe site under trade. There's a popular 3rd party thing that basically does this for you in-game (not on every item, just if you specifically ask it to). Awakened PoE trade. This is almost certainly within ToS. These sorts of things will get developed for PoE2 too but it'll be a few days/weeks/months for everything to come together.
@@menaceiwill1if you think the item looks appealing, just list it for 1 chaos orb. Chances are it won't sell, and it's not even clear if that's the currency people will want to trade in, but that's your best lazy answer. In PoE, there was an app overlay you could download and have it give you accurate guesses with the push of a button. It's going to be while before that's in PoE2.
Don't forget though that anyone who is in the early access is now the proud owner of 300 gems. Better to find a helpful video like this that explains what to do with your in-game currency. This won't matter once the game leaves EA. You have it,so spend it.
In option 2 you had the "Premium Stash Tab Bundle" listed for 200 in the regular price list however that bundle doesn't exist in your price list near the start. Is that a mistake that it was missed off the list at the start or was this a typo on the option 2 regular price list?
@Slicky1988 there is no sale date confirmed yet, but they typically do one once a month or so, so there will likely be one next week or the week after.
Am I understanding that all the tabs I have on Poe will xfer over to Poe2 if they are compatible? I stopped Poe years ago after playing thousands of hours.
Is there any chance that when early access is released and been out a couple of weeks that you when make a new video about this just where instead of only 300 coin option also show what you would do with the 600 and 1000 coins because i think there will be newer players that either buy them at the start or might upgrade to these and at least I like to know what you would do with them
GGG continues to be based with their monetization, even in the early access you get all your money's worth in MTX points, so it basically just raises the bar a tiny bit for people trying it early. I have yet to spend a penny on PoE but might just get early acceses. Also, you CAN trade without premium tabs! You just have to make forum posts which gets annoying especially for small quantities of junk. But that has worked perfectly for me.
It's a personal choice. The first leaves you with 4 extra tabs and 4 trading tabs, the second gives you 3 extra tabs and 6 trading tabs. Since you can set whole tabs at a certain price, sometimes its nice to have a few smaller tabs. The quad is certainly nice for dumping into., but you don't want to be dumping and selling out of your only premium tab.
I got 800 as I bought the $60 EA pack plus the first blood pack. I think I will do premium stash bundle + 1 currency tab + 1 map tab what do you guys thnk? Then I might have some left over for cosmetic item. I was told wait for the sale also so I will do that
Also need to wait to be sure things transfer properly to PoE2 and that there's nothing you really want because it's PoE2. Fragment is extremely useful in PoE1 but there may not be enough super bosses, etc yet in PoE2. I think the PoE1 setup would be: currency 60 map 120 fragment 55 6x premium bundle 165 quad 120 That's 520 and probably pretty close to being fine. May want to make your base tabs premium. May want another quad. May want 1-2 other specialized tabs. It's not really known if map or fragment will be pulling their weight for PoE2. Maybe they will right away, maybe they will by 2027. If you think you might want to try PoE1 between at least some PoE2 leagues then you'd want both though. If you're not far enough in the game yet to KNOW that they'll be useful... just put anything in a regular tab for now. If some type of item starts feeling like it might become a mess, buy the tab for it on the next sale ~3 weeks later. I mean, by the time you actually realize you need something the next sale would probably just be a week or so away. Also note that a few times a year or so they have a promotion where you get a loot box (of recently made MTX) normally costing 50 points with any purchase (once per account per event). Lots of people buy a weta pet for 5 points so it's like getting a random MTX for 5 points. So if you're at all interested in cosmetic MTX it's important to keep a few points left over for these promotions.
Just bought the $30 supporter back and playing poe1 for the first time since it came with it. I noticed they’re available in the first game… if I buy stash tabs will they carry over?
They will as long as POE2 has the same content. For example, a lot of tabs are league mechanic specific, so POE2 may not use it at all. Best thing to buy is what is suggested in the video. I hope you enjoy the game!
I’ve never played a game like this except baldurs gate ig would be the closest..can someone tell me if the free armor you can earn is anywhere near as cool as the supporter pack armors
I am new to the game (played a bit of PoE1) . Your recommendation does not include a Premium Quad Stash tab. Lets say you instead went for 600, how would you spend that during a sale?
Now that the game is out, and that it is confirmed there is not a first weekend tab sale, you get some time to think on it. I've only played through the acts so far, and much like PoE1, it's nice to have a currency tab but all tabs feel fully optional in campaign. Not that much stuff drops yet. Probably even less in PoE2 than PoE1, though it is only half of campaign and there's no "league mechanic" which is often what drops more stuff earlier in campaign in PoE1. BUT... the game is only half out so far. So buying with PoE1 in mind isn't bad either if you'd think you'd ever play it some more. With 600 I'd certainly get currency, a quad and a 6-pack premium. For PoE1 you want fragment and map. For PoE2, remains to be seen. I have all the tabs but I still only just use currency and generic tabs as of end of act3 normal difficulty.
@@redfish337thanks. I will wait for a sale. What I don’t fully understand is why you wouldn’t just buy the Quad Premium over the Premium stash? Because of price?
@@AdvancedSquadLeader The unfortunate matter is normal quad tabs don't exist. Only premium. Quad tabs are great for dumping stuff to sort through later so you can get right back in the action. The pack of smaller tabs helps with selling. You can list the whole tab as a single price as default (if something doesn't fit neatly it can be manually priced). So you can just list the tabs as an array of prices. So it's convenient to have MORE tabs versus just space since it lets you set more price points easily. (the 6 premium are still cheaper space for space than the quad tab though)
You dont need a premium tab if you want to trade, you only need it if you want to put items to sell on the market. Nothing stops you from browsing the trade page and messaging people to buy their items.
@@FalsePrelate If the map stash is somehow not really needed I would love to have a Quad trying to fit in the 300 points. Thanks for the video and I guess you'll do another video when more information about stashes are know so we can spend our points efficiently. Subscribing for that
If this is a serious question... First, wait for a sale. Then spend about 1500-2000 points on tabs which is like the upper limit on what you could possibly use. Buying more tabs than that is quite likely literally detrimental- it means you're picking up too much crap. You can buy even the bad tabs of specialized tabs in case you would ever want them- or at least the ones that currently work in PoE2, which may take a few days to be sure about. This is at most ~600 points. If you just get the good or great stuff it's ~300 or ~400 if you play Solo self found and want a unique tab. Upgrade the tabs the game gives you. 40 points. Then buy 2-3 sets of 6x premium regular tabs. 330-500 points. Then anything else you want can be quads. 120x. Like 2-10. Even if you max every one of these suggestions out the total is like ~2300... but still probably more in the 1500-2000 range should be all you'd ever use. Again, wasting time playing stash tetris because you have too few tabs is wasting time you could have spent properly playing the game... wasting time dumping too many items into tabs that you'll never use or sell is wasting time you could have spent playing the game. Spend the other points on MTX you like after playing the game. Skill effects are recommended, especially those that are popular among many archetypes. What those exactly are will be different in PoE2 versus 1.
Four slots is enough for a new player to get through to act. 3.. He should be selling all your junk or giving it to alts anyway. Using all your crafting orbs. I'm just going to sit on that 300 points.
@odman7945 for SSF you don't need any premium tabs, since there is no trading. In that case, replace the premium tabs with the large normal tab bundle.
Only real update is that I can confirm that all the regular tabs, premium tabs, the currency tab, and the essence tab are in poe2, and the vast majority of poe1 microtransactions are not ready in PoE 2 (they are blacked out and say coming soon.

@@Exotac ...why do I want to sell things? I don't like people.
That's exactly the video I was looking for. Thank you!
Best stash video explaining your options. He even took the time to make a slideshow of them. Thank you. Liked and subscribed.
Depending on how many of them actually make it over from PoE1 to PoE2, a fragment tab is really nice for organization if nothing else. Scarab auto-sorting into a different section for each content type is really nice, for instance.
I'd recommend a Premium Stash Tab Bundle for $20 and a Currency Tab for $7.5. If I had to do it all over again, that is what I would buy.
@@FalsePrelateI'll just wait for a sale because honestly I don't mind sorting through gear in my chest and throwing it away
@@MoistYoghurtrecommend at least 1 premium tab for u to access trading since its essential for endgame builds
Very nice and clear video to understand ! haven't played it for years and thanks to you i get up to speed and even got a optimal way to spend points
Ah this is much better! Glad you changed it bro. Hope lots of new players see this. I've posted it on the sub too. :)
Thanks for the suggestion earlier. Stay sane exile!
Informative. Thanks. I got the Libberator Pack and was considering how to most effectively use all the points for QoL options.
Excellent timing and very useful video. 😄
Thanks for this! I'm new to the PoE2 universe
love it! thanks for helping the new players.
Yeah, I've never really realized how many stash tabs I had until I opened up the stash and saw 133 stash tabs
Oh my. I thought I had gone insane with 30 premium tabs.
Since it seems like there will be a lot of different omens, i hope they either get a spot in the currency tab, or a special omen tab.. (convert one of the poe 1 special tabs to omen tab. Not shure the map tab will be as usefull.. depends if waystones stack or not.
FYI: Next Stash Tab sale should be the weekend of the launch weekend (following the normal 3-week cycle).
I'll just keep the 300 pts and save them for when i actually need them. For now, just playing the game normally without MTX is the way to go. Enjoy the game at a nice slow pace, no need to rush this experience.
Dude lets party up! Same here
Thanks for this. Spot on recommendations i can link to my buddies new to POE.
Super helpful video, well done!
Yes, you begin the game with 4 regular tabs.
Great vid for a new incoming player, thx!
They do sales so often but they always time them when the least amount of people will notice or take advantage of it
I have all Tabs but for new Player a good Video gj...
Stay safe Exile´s
Thanks for this - as a new player this is gold! 👍🙏
There will definitely be another sale before Christmas I’m happy to chill out and wait for a sale while playing.
Tyvm for the breakdown!
How often do these go on sale
Every 3 weeks. Though the release of PoE2 EA maaaay cause a slight disruption. But it's normally every 3 weeks.
If you are new and just barely missed a sale it might justify buying a currency tab at full price, wasting ~$1.50 in points to get it ~18 days sooner. But that's pretty much it. Normally we just wait for next sale. It's probably next weekend aligned with PoE2 EA release.
Nice content!! Liked shared subscribed. Waiting for more 😂
This is exactly what i was thinking earlier and i think TH-cam is reading my mind again
it is not sales on premium stash tab bundle? 200 to ...160 for instance? , anyways if it doesn't exist, I will wait offer to buy the normal bundle (120) plus 6 upgrades (60)
very useful information Thank you.
THanks man , i have played POE in the past and somehow i have an currency tab already in there maybe i was pissed off about it and bought it , was so long ago that i don't even remember , so thanks for the video , not sure what to priotize first.
Thank you for this video!
Yo i seriously seriously appreciate this
at 3:27 how come your maps are square, is that the old design
Yep, there's actually a bunch of them. They've changed the map series a bunch of times, that's one of the older ones. You can actually update them to the new series just by vendoring them (1 for 1), but some people like to keep the old ones anyway. It's not like maps are in short supply lol. There's also some maps, like Gorge, that've been removed entirely and never come back. Note that this is all on Standard league, the place where nearly all of PoE's history (like broken legacy items) can be found.
Yeah this is a bit of an Easter Egg for old vets haha. I put a few Easter Eggs in there.
@@FalsePrelatebut despite all that i still dont see mirror in ur curency tab 😂😂😂? poor vet ?
@redfish337 good to know. Thank you for sharing.
Honestly I'm just waiting until i actually need stash tabs before getting since unless a sale comes
Did you find it yet? Mine was named tab 5 or something like that so it looked normal in the stash.
How does the selling from tabs work? I heard you talk about it numerous times but I haven't played PoE before
Do other people buy things from your tabs like some sort of AH/GE ? Or will all those items be sold after a countdown?
Basically, the premium tabs allow you to list an item on the trade website. Other players will be able to see it and message you to buy it. The trading is not automatic. You can still buy items without a premium tab; you just need the premium tab to list items for sale. publicly.
@FalsePrelate I'll have to see when the game is live, but having to manually sell items seems like a chore. Thanks for explaining!
@@DaMobzz There is an in game auction house for small currencies, so the only thing you will need to trade out of the stash will be armour and other equipment. So it's not too tedious to trade.
Thanks for the info!!
Here's basically what we have to work with:
Currency 60
Map 120
Fragment 55
Quad tab 120
6 premium tabs 165
Divination card 40
Essence 30
Upgrading tabs you already have 10-40
(less efficient/money) single premium tabs, single regular tabs, 6 regular tab sets... 30, 20, 110 respectively
So if you want to use everything on tabs, I would probably suggest:
Currency 60
Map 120
Fragment 55
Quad tab 120
6 premium 165
Leaving 80 left over.
@@redfish337 That is actually quite reassuring! Thank you!
@@redfish337 One more question. If I were to spend said points during early access, will my tabs transfer to the "normal" league post release, or will they be locked to the early access "realm"; compelling me to make SEPARATE tab purchases for the official release league?
So has anything changed after the released shop?
I'm going to be making a video on this tonight.
If I only play Solo Character Found, do I still need stash tabs?
You don't "need" them; you can play the entire game without them. But, it will be very convenient to have at least the currency stash tab for organization.
I got a question! The stash tabs can be shared among other characters in the account or only in one character?
All characters and all leagues in the future.
Like why
Also is there a way too know how much something is worth, if you wanna sell it. Or do you have too decide
Go to options.
The folder is "game"
Default item allocation
There are 3 options.
Short allocation
Permanent allocation
free for all
As for how much stuff is worth...
Do we know that there will be a sale on poe 2 ?
@Slicky1988 there is no sale date confirmed yet, but they typically do one once a month or so, so there will likely be one next week or the week after.
@@FalsePrelateoh sweet, that’s very often!
Okay, I'm waiting on a sale. Thanks
Am I understanding that all the tabs I have on Poe will xfer over to Poe2 if they are compatible? I stopped Poe years ago after playing thousands of hours.
Yes. They are making all compatible MTX work on both games.
Great one! What about if Im willing to balance trading, selling and mapping? Can you give me some combo options?
I would go with option 3 if that's what you want to do.
No pet rock beloved ❤ great video
Is there any chance that when early access is released and been out a couple of weeks that you when make a new video about this just where instead of only 300 coin option also show what you would do with the 600 and 1000 coins because i think there will be newer players that either buy them at the start or might upgrade to these and at least I like to know what you would do with them
Do they transfer to each character?? Like new and old?
GGG continues to be based with their monetization, even in the early access you get all your money's worth in MTX points, so it basically just raises the bar a tiny bit for people trying it early. I have yet to spend a penny on PoE but might just get early acceses.
Also, you CAN trade without premium tabs! You just have to make forum posts which gets annoying especially for small quantities of junk. But that has worked perfectly for me.
If poe1 had a sale for a tab and we bought it there would that actually transfer over rather than waiting for a poe2 sale?
12-13-24, sale right now
Sale sale sale sale. Come sale away, come sale away with me.
for opt 3, isn't it better to get a prem quad for 120 (4 extra tabs) instead of 3 prem stash and 3 upgrades (3 extra tabs) ?
It's a personal choice. The first leaves you with 4 extra tabs and 4 trading tabs, the second gives you 3 extra tabs and 6 trading tabs. Since you can set whole tabs at a certain price, sometimes its nice to have a few smaller tabs. The quad is certainly nice for dumping into., but you don't want to be dumping and selling out of your only premium tab.
This gave me Stash Tab PTSD... man now I remember.
Anyone know when the POE2 beta will be available to download on PS5? Have they said?
I got 800 as I bought the $60 EA pack plus the first blood pack. I think I will do premium stash bundle + 1 currency tab + 1 map tab what do you guys thnk? Then I might have some left over for cosmetic item. I was told wait for the sale also so I will do that
Also need to wait to be sure things transfer properly to PoE2 and that there's nothing you really want because it's PoE2.
Fragment is extremely useful in PoE1 but there may not be enough super bosses, etc yet in PoE2.
I think the PoE1 setup would be:
currency 60
map 120
fragment 55
6x premium bundle 165
quad 120
That's 520 and probably pretty close to being fine.
Will we be able to transfer shop points, as well as stash tabs from EA to release?
Yes.
Thanks I’m hoping my current tabs transfer over then I’m freaking set if not follow this
I am new to the game (played a bit of PoE1) .
I bought the currency stash tab, it took my coins but its still available to buy and i cant open it anywhere
Basically stash tab jujitsu mini-game with my money. Awesome.
You dont need a premium tab if you want to trade, you only need it if you want to put items to sell on the market. Nothing stops you from browsing the trade page and messaging people to buy their items.
Excellent content.

@@donkatsu18 yes
I'm new to POE and have like 6k points from the Wraeclast bundle. Should I get 50 Quad tabs?
What those exactly are will be different in PoE2 versus 1.
thank you ben shapiro
Four slots is enough for a new player to get through to act. 3.. He should be selling all your junk or giving it to alts anyway. Using all your crafting orbs. I'm just going to sit on that 300 points.

I have all the stash tab form poe 1 except unique gem and flask tab. I just hope they get transferred to my poe 2 account when relised.
Maybe some option for ssf hc?
@odman7945 for SSF you don't need any premium tabs, since there is no trading. In that case, replace the premium tabs with the large normal tab bundle.
