The biggest thing about the currency tab is that it allows you to stack up to 5000 of each currency, if you didn't have it, 5k of a single currency would be 250 stacks and fill your tabs up very quickly. Early game its not that big of a deal, but as you play longer and collect currency it helps out more and more.

Follow-up question, if I may. I ran into an issue this morning that has me flummoxed, and trying to figure out 1) why it's a thing, and 2) how to fix it are both in short supply. First a very brief background: due to some issues I had with my account and Twitch drops, I had little choice but to buy a 2nd $30 key on the PS5 (I initially had it on my Series X.) As you predicted, the sale for stash tabs went live last night and I spent this morning going through both XBox and PS5 to spend my 300 Points in each account (600 Points total.) Although the accounts are "unified" (my characters appear regardless of which platform I'm on) it kept my Point totals segregated. I made what I considered to be fairly discerning decisions on the tabs, first on PS5. Got most of my specialty tabs, a premium quad tab and life was good. I then switched over to the XBox, and first confirmed that the tabs were there (they were.) I then went into the shop and started spending my other 300 points on more tabs (mostly upgrading normal to premium and a few others.) I then went back into the stash, but nearly all my tabs had turned into REMOVE ONLY. I played PoE1 _veeeeery_ casually back probably 8-10 years ago, there was nothing in the tabs there. And I didn't start playing PoE2 until the Early Access launched last week. Also, I don't belong to a guild. This was and is all very confusing to a newbie player like myself. As near as I can tell from what very little info I can glean, the games make a distinction between "legions" (which I'm assuming is "Exile-ese" for "seasons") and what they term "Standard" (or permanent.) The issue is, I never even got to interact with some of those tabs before they were marked as RO. To make matters worse, I gated out and then back, and now those same RO tabs are actually missing! It has me spitting mad because those tabs cost me actual money, and they're apparently MIA. And there doesn't appear to be a way of manually switching between legion/standard play. So did I just piss away $60 worth of tabs, or are they hiding someplace? Explain it to me as you might to a 5 year-old, because you wouldn't be that far off. Between the Twitch drop fiasco last week and now the stash tabs, GGG is making it harder and harder to justify playing this game. Change my mind, please!
Woohoo, a sale started the day after this video. Picked up the recommended onesd and upgraded my default tabs to premium. Good video I would only recommend as a 8 year player is cover personal tabs first not guild first. But I would also recommend a premium bundle over quad because you can price single tabs for trading.
Damn, I watched like 3 or 4 other guides before this one, yours was the best by far, the only guide in which I'm leaving with no remaining questions, thanks my guy.
For trading using the website, how exactly does a fraction of an exalted orb work as a price? Like for your example will that person selling something for .5 exalted 100% accept 2 chaos orbs? Or will they pick and choose what they want if they are not interested in chaos orbs? Also would you recommend the bundle currently on sale at the end of the video or wait for individual tab sales?
people will always accept chaos orb in my experience, not sure with other currencies tho, i guess you just need to ask the player if they're okay with it. but most people who put decimals usually expect to be paid for the rest in chaos orbs
with the sale, the premium quad tab costs the same as 4 regular stash tabs and 4 premium tab upgrades, so new people: dont think your only sale option is the premium quad tab, you can just get a single premium upgrade or extra stash tabs+individual premium upgrades for them

Hi there just bought during the Sale a Currency, Gem, Delirium, and Essence Stash Tab + 3 Premium upgrades. So 300 in total and you´ve got everything you´ll ever need unless you wanna play collector I guess.
The thing is, the game is free when it launches. You get four stash by default and it's plenty of tabs to do whatever you want. All these things he mentions in the video are just very convenient and make stash organization a breeze. Don't let this stuff stop you from playing potentially the best ARPG ever...
You should also wait to buy if you don't need them right away, as GGG does sales quite often, so check back every week, probably like every Friday and see if anything has been cut down a bit.
Didnt understood the price of itens… what is 0.5 orbs? You said 2 chaos orbs, but from where you get this “conversion” or alternate payments? There is some itens price being 0.1 orbs… how I can pay this?
And to receive donated guild points the guild leader has to approve the transaction online. From the Guild social section go to guild management at the bottom right -> will be transferred to the browser -> Guild transactions -> Approve each transaction separately.
Weird. I have the currency stash tab buying the Lord of Ogham Supporter Pack, but it didn't say anywhere that I'd be getting it. I also have the essence tab. Could these have carried over from PoE1?
He talked about currency stash tab and didnt mention the most important part about it, as you get into endgame or a couple of characters later you will fill all of yours tabs with currency only from how much they drop alot and are in stacks of 20 normally the currency stash tab allows you to carry 5000 of each of them which saves you alot of free space you wont have if not for the currency tab
300 points was exactly enough to buy all the tabs in the tab bundle except the unique during the storage tab sale that is on right now (12/12/24) so I went for that as the unique tab seemed like something I didn't care about, so I got all the tabs I wanted for now with the 300 points that's pretty nice, I think.
One question (the question why i came here) is not answered: How does the Guild stashes work? Exactly the same as the player stashes? Is there an option when you sell something to set the seller that gets whispered? I play way more than my friends so it would be dope when they can set me as seller so i can sell their stuff when they are offline. Does that work?
Did tabs carry over from POE? I played a little back in the day, and I started POE2 with 5 stash tabs + a currency tab. Got into early access at the lowest level.
Bought the tabs, but the stuff doesn't go into those tabs if i'm on another tab. Why so? If i open the usual tab, it will send the materials there instead of currency tab.
I know this is a super minor detail but I feel like I'm missing something. I have no way to use orbs in the currency tab without pulling them out first. I love the idea of the crafting slot, but if I right click it just prompts me to make a note, so I still find myself needing to split one orb out and then use it. Does this sound right?

I also got the exact three tabs you recommended, and I’m super happy with your advice as I feel great about getting those specific tabs so Thanks a lot Man😎💯
Thank you brother. Great work!
How do you put stuff in your stash from your inventory without click and drag?
How much do I need to spend for a quad tab in my personal inventory? I would give anything to stop going back to sell every 3 minutes. 😅
Your doing great work buddy
Hi there just bought during the Sale a Currency, Gem, Delirium, and Essence Stash Tab + 3 Premium upgrades. So 300 in total and you´ve got everything you´ll ever need unless you wanna play collector I guess.
Thanks for this, helps understand the use of tabs and now I know what to spend my 300 on.
Very helpful. Thanks dude!
ty for the content, stash tabs/monetization was one of the things that have kept me from getting into poe.
The thing is, the game is free when it launches. You get four stash by default and it's plenty of tabs to do whatever you want. All these things he mentions in the video are just very convenient and make stash organization a breeze. Don't let this stuff stop you from playing potentially the best ARPG ever...
I had no idea about the whole public tabs to sell items, great guide thank you!
I keep my runes in the currency tab too. Makes crafting item easier since everything for building gear is in one tab.
My Gem stash tab is graydout cannot transfer any uncut gems to the tab , I play on ps5 any help would be appreciated 👍
Would you recommend purchasing the exile stash bundle and upgrading the 4 normal tabs you start with to premium?
You should also wait to buy if you don't need them right away, as GGG does sales quite often, so check back every week, probably like every Friday and see if anything has been cut down a bit.
2:35 ALSO note... the stash tabs are cross compatible. If you buy for PoE you get the same tab on PoE2 and visa versa...
Please tell me you are not joking
@bendeanwood9713 I'm not joking
@@fightingblind so I have few unique stash tabs in game it will automatically be added to my poe2 altho I have the game on steam
@@bendeanwood9713 all of my stash tabs moved already...
@@bendeanwood9713 Mine did and I'm on steam for both POE 1 and 2
100% agree. Don't even think about it ;put the wings down and get the stash tabs!
Really useful, thank you!
Much needed video for new players. Thank you
Great info! Thank you!
What I need to buy exactly for guild stash? Normal stash for spare items.
What button are you pressing to quickly transfer items over instead of dragging them over
Good stuff lad. Can you teach us how do we customize our lootfilter? How can i highlight for example two hander maces with different color?
Much appreciated! Thank you!
Bought tabs in POE years ago when I tried to play... Having them xfer over was fantastic!
As a new player this was super helpful! Thanks!
Omg thanks for this video, subbed and 👍🏼
Really helpful, I was just using my premium quad tab for my equipment, didn’t know what public was 😅
Weird. I have the currency stash tab buying the Lord of Ogham Supporter Pack, but it didn't say anywhere that I'd be getting it. I also have the essence tab. Could these have carried over from PoE1?
that was very helpful. thanks!
Waiting for the sale ! Tks for the video!
This is a big help thank you :-) they are now having a sale on until the 16th :-)
Bought the tabs, but the stuff doesn't go into those tabs if i'm on another tab. Why so?
If i open the usual tab, it will send the materials there instead of currency tab.
In the upper right corner of the stashwindow there is an option button. You have to activate the auto option.
@@WakeupF Thank u!
Amazing video, this is what I needed as first time player 🎉😊
