240hz may not seem like a huge jump at first from 120hz but over time you grow to appreciate how much smoother 240hz actually is. I literally cannot play games at 120hz anymore. They feel terrible. I just got done play God Of War 2018 at 240hz Ultra settings on PC and then went and tried to play God Of War Raganarok on its 60hz mode and its high frame rate mode which can hold 120hz during non combat parts of the game and it felt and looked awful. My ASUS PG32UCDM will arrive next Monday and I never had an OLED, so Im just preparing everything (no shortcuts/folders on desktop and auto hiding taskbar) and I want moving wallpapers to prevent static images and the burn in they could lead to over time. I googled for some wallpapers but Im not sure what the best ones are or whats the best way to do it. Im not too worried about burn in since ASUS gives 3yr warranty and if it happens after 3 yrs and its so bad that you can actually notice it, I will buy a new one. In 3 yrs the OLED tech should have gotten even better and more resilient. Not hoping this will happen, since 4k240 will be enough even until a RTX 7090 or so but just saying. And even then its questionable if we would ever need more than 4k240. I think higher resolution is the only thing maybe, even higher ppi. But only up to a certain point, not sure how much better 32 inch can look if you increase ppi over that what 4k gives you. (Im so excited about this monitor. Almost didnt buy it bc I had to pay freaking 1713€ on Amazon. Thats like 1850$. So ridiculously high. Would have bought the Alienware with the same panel but I dont want to have a curved display and since the MSI was also out of stock everywhere and would have cost 1500€, I went with the ASUS. Atm I have a 1080p60 monitor from AOC LOL so the difference will be INSANE. Until I can buy a 5090+9800x3D (so until those parts can be purchased) and build a new pc, I will use it with GeforceNow and just stream in 4k120. Should be amazing, since the service works great at 4k60 already, if I use my TV as monitor. It has been a very long time since I have been this excited about a product. Building my PC with a 5090+9800x3D hopefully end of this year will be the only thing to top this I think :D)

Looks amazing but $2749... I can get 4k OLED 42" C4 LG for $1999 at full price. Then you can use it as a pc monitor and a console TV. I would love it if these companies would start producing monitors just a little bigger than 32. I would be all over a 36 inch monitor. Currently you have to go up to at least a 40.
wow this monitor looks like a dream! i would definitely be saving up for it if it was 1440p instead of 4k, because 4k requires too much graphics power for the quality benefit over 1440p in my opinion if this monitor was 1440p i would argue its THE perfect gaming monitor

where did you order from? mine prob comes in 3-4days
2.1 is useless
@@NexGenTek i wonder why he needs 2.1 at the moment ? ...
@@mouzz I guess to future proof it for now.
only reason i’m gonna pick mpg321urx over this is because it’s in stock. i can’t be bothered to preorder it months before from the only retailer in the uk that supplies it
Is the chin noticeable during gameplay because in my view it looks irritating so I am not sure whether to buy or not
Do these monitors get burn in?
Cool review! I'm torn whether to get the 4k monitor in 42 inch as pg42uq or this one in 32 inch.
Are you saying that pg32ucdm is better than the pg32uqx?
Looks amazing but $2749... I can get 4k OLED 42" C4 LG for $1999 at full price. Then you can use it as a pc monitor and a console TV. It's annoying using the 42" OLED without tilting the screen and having it a bit too big. But it's way cheaper. Also you can get a C3 42" for $1300 ! Half the price. IDK what do you guys think ?
What monitors do you suggest for iracing (triple monitor setup)?
Ultrawide for zero bezels.
Would this be an upgrade if I am currently using a PG32UQX?
Yes.
Colour / black wise yes - HDR would be dimmer
Getting mine by June 2 have a rog strix 4080 super oc video card so should look amazing
Please let me know. What is this device, 0:25 in the video, next to the right column, with 4 knobs and icons?
Is this monitor recommened for those w better GPU? I have 4060 w i5-13500. Is the monitor overkill? I would like an oled monitor
I have rtx4090 , intel 14900k and 64gb 6000mhz ram. It will be good depending on the game you play. I can't get more than 140 fps on dcs full settings. I can't get past 120 fps on helldivers 2 full settings. I will nedd rtx5090 when that is released.
I ordered this monitor and getting it this week but how many fps could I expect for a 4080 super and a ryzen 7950X3D. (Games you know on max setting)
Awesome review. Would go great with my ASUS build. I'd also like to know where you got that Black Hole wallpaper as well. Thanks!
He uses wallpaper engine from steam. It costs money for the app but the wallpapers are so pretty
That oled burn in from a desktop background is has me paranoid
Wallpaper engine. Got wallpaper who switch image and you good.
I would love it if these companies would start producing monitors just a little bigger than 32. I would be all over a 36 inch monitor. Currently you have to go up to at least a 40.
Waiting for a 39" ultrawide 4k high refresh OLED that LG is rumored to be bringing to market within a year
Finally. Someone that compared the best monitor to the best TV.
is this better than alienware aw3225qf?im torn which one to get
Get the asus one because with latest firmware they fixed a lot of stuff
To get 240hz @4k, do you need any thing more that a Display port 1.4 cable from the 4090?
Is this good for multiplayer fps and the new dragon ball z
wow this monitor looks like a dream!
i would definitely be saving up for it if it was 1440p instead of 4k, because 4k requires too much graphics power for the quality benefit over 1440p in my opinion
if this monitor was 1440p i would argue its THE perfect gaming monitor
@SilverJoystix so you disagree? could've just said that instead
Looking to get a new monitor for Fortnite but I got a 400-600$ budget only with Best Buy (returning warranty). Any idea what to I should get? I dont use Gsync and prefer 240fps hertz
Id love a monitor like this but unfortunately its not cheap, and on top of that, the gpu to run it is almost the same as a mortgage payment! Cant wait for the day when pushing 4k in games doesnt cost so much. I have a 6800xt right now and im afraid if i jump from my 1440p to 4k, I'll barely make 60fps if im lucky.
This Asus or LG 34GS95QE-B?
Got the PG42UQ That will do me OLED, 138/140hz HDR 4090 gives me very good performance
Hi PC Centric
Great video
I have a question, which gpu is needed for this monitor, it is advisable to play games at a level that will match this monitor
For example rtx 3080 ti
Will it fit this monitor?
3080 Ti is ok, but you will want to grab a 5080 when it comes out to get the most out of it for sure
@@PcCentric Thanks for the response
Say you don't think it's better to buy an rtx 4080 for this monitor
When the price dropped, of course, it seemed more worth it to me, didn't it?
Why exactly 5080?
@@YacovIchao8903 because the 4090 isn't even powerful enough to drive millions of pixels a second at 240hz. The GPU is bottle-necking the monitor's performance
@@zenon3021 Wow I didn't know
So you say you need a more powerful gpu than 4090
to this monitor
@@YacovIchao8903 to actually get 240hz yes (unless the games you are playing are cartoonishly simple graphics).
Other cards would work, you'd just get lower hz, which is a shame to spend $1,800(CAD) for a 240hz monitor and only get 120hz on a lot of games...
That live Fortnite wallpaper/background is awesome! Where'd ya get it, do you mind sharing?
Wallpaper engine :)
@@PcCentric Thanks! I thought the Fortnite map one was cool, but then the blackhole, and the Horizon... Banging selections. Good taste. :)
@@PcCentriconly the best place to get all wallpapers :)
@@PcCentriconly the best place to get wallpapers :)
Awesome monitor but £1350 in the UK compared to the new Samsung g80sd which could be had for £745 and a free SSD, pretty huge difference
Nice! Whats the FPS Looking like on Warzone brother? Max and low settings?
You will get 150-200 probs with a 4090, but depends on settings and CPU
@@PcCentric Thanks brother. Have a blessed day.
if the games are in 100fps does the 240hz monitor needed?
No, u don’t but they r paced as 240hz.
@@ArseniTecH-vm1fgWith VRR, they'll be dynamically paced at your framerate
No dp2.1 for that price is bananas
Would be this monitor good for as rtx 4080 (rog strix OC edition)?
I have the 27in version OLED. This is my first OLED monitor. Should I hide my taskbar or leave it on because of burn in? And I am nervous about using wallpaper engine because of burn in.
Set it to auto hide
@@killacalamity5976 Thanks
Im looking for preferably a 24-inch monitor with 1ms response time, refresh rate because i use a rtx 4090, motion blur reduction, minimal ghosting, and variable refresh rate support. Good Color accuracy for games like Forza, Spiderman, and The Last of Us when im not playing competitive apex legends.
Great, the monitor I can't find anywhere. THanks.
Please do a review for alienware AW 3225QF
Have you experienced any VRR flickering? When I have g-sync enabled on this monitor dark parts on the screen ingame flickers which is horribly annoying. I'm returning it now after one day of use...
How does it compare with the Alienware 32 4K QD-OLED Gaming Monitor - AW3225QF?
I really want to see your LG 240/480Hz OLED compared to this. I would like to know if you can plug in your Android phone via USB C to Displayport, and have the camera app work in full screen, not just mobile phone size?
LG is Woled. Which sucks compared to qd oled.
