When I here the planes above, I am reminded of my mother's stories of The Blitz. Mom's uncle was an Air Raid Officer. He fought during WW1 and was burned severely down the front of his body by an explosion. Then during The Blitz, he signed up to be an Air Raid Officer. One time he was warning our family to take cover when suddenly he was thrown on top of everyone in the shelter from a blast. A bomb had landed across the way from their home. Mom lived with us for several years before her passing. She spoke of the war so many times. She still had so much fear. I can't imagine the loneliness and fear she felt during her life and so many others who have had to deal with war.

It is so cool to me how you fix little jars, and pipes, and the dolls! One of the reasons why I love watching you. And the items you come up with for your doll house! Just incredible. I especially love the relationship you two have. My heart would burst if I had a relationship with my daughter like that…..I can dream! 😃😃 maybe one day. Stay safe girls, take care. ❤️❤️❤️🥰

The bottle you found- no deposit no return- is a shape known as a “stubby” beer. 1950s-60s. This spot reminds me of the place we used to mudlark when we lived in Florida. Everything was covered in mud and algae and you had to watch out for jellyfish.

The few things you found still threw up some interesting history, particularly your synopsis, Kate, on the life of the lady pipe maker. A strong woman. That small piece of colored glass was beautiful, maybe use it. In the dolls house in some way. But for us, the pleasure you two bring with your videos is a joy. Enjoy your live chat.

We used to hunt for Civil War bullets in the creeks near my grandma's. (We didn't know really what they were, we just knew we could get a bag of candy for them..) We would start at the head of the creek and work our way down to grandma's...roughly 5 miles there and back. Walking with the current allowed the silt to drift downstream and left us with a clearer view of the creek bed. Not sure if that would work where you are hunting as not sure what the currents are like there or how deep the water is but might be worth trying in shallow waters.
Great video...interesting history on the pipe stem. And nice to see the jar repair.

I love the footage of the trees and flowers and berries etc. I take screenshots and use them for inspiration and practicing watercolour painting. I hope that's ok. Something I'd love to see on your craft channel is the rebuilding of all the little broken dolls pieces: arms, legs, heads and bodies. As well, I'd love to see some of the pipes repaired and rebuilt. Just a suggestion and no pressure. You always have wonderful content. I enjoy all that you film and share. So much fun seeing what was in the water even if it was cloudy and challenging. Knobby beach continues to give wonderful treasures and connections to the past like the lady pipe maker. Thank you both for continuing to share your mudlarking adventures. Rachelle, Australia. xo
