  • This week we return to Gobby beach. Unbelievably we found yet another amazing find on the path of beads! We can`t quite believe we found another artefact from the same era as before! There were other similar finds also and some amazing things! This beach seems to never disappoint. Come with us and see what we find in the muddy mire that is Gobby Beach :)
    If you would like to watch us use some of the items we found in miniature crafting, pop over to our second channel `The Miniature World Of Kit + Caboodlers` -

    We have a patreon page for anyone wishing to support us.
    We also have a Ko-fi account, so if you wanted to support us by buying us a metaphorical cup of coffee it would be greatly appreciated xx

    I was trying to think what my favourite TH-cam channel is, I like a few different types of things, and it has to be you two, I really like you more than anything else. It’s not just the finds, it’s your relationship, the nature, the music, your clothes, the round up at home, the crafting and the dolls houses. Thank you so much for making me so happy x

    • @lisascenic
      @lisascenic 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Mama’s gone detecting I love that you made the Jane Austen connection (even if it’s unlikely to solve the button mystery). I keep a small flock of urban chickens in Oakland California, and they’re all named for Jane Austen characters.
      Anne Elliot , Isabella and Maria Lucas lived happy chicken lives.
      Harriet, Charlotte Lucas, Lydia, Miss Sophia Grey and Biddy Henshaw are the current members of the flock named from Jane Austen characters.
      And then there’s Adventure Chicken who got her name when she was a tiny chick, and that was that.

They aren't equipped to.safely transport their finds back to the car. Nor do they stop to look if they drop something. From time to time you might want to keep a look out on the way back. That beautiful doll cup, with no handle could be a wonderful china pot or planter as the victorians loved to display. Thank you so much.

    Hi Fleur and Kate, you mentioned that Queen Elizabeth's funeral is on Monday and I was wondering if the UK are given a Public Holiday? Our Prime Minister announced last week that we (Australia) will have a national day of mourning on this coming Thursday. We also have a Public Holiday for the Queens birthday, although each state and territory hold it on different days. The dates will not change for each state and territory, but will now be called Kings Birthday Public Holiday. Very interesting finds today. I think the beads(always) and the jet mourning buttons are my favourites today.
