A single man proudly presenting his all vintage collections for creating awareness and public interest. More than 28 years he is collecting vintage radios and more than 700 antique radios has been shown in this world radio day show. His effort and interest motivating everyone in this modern world. its really amazing to see varieties of old radios, especially from 2nd world war time radios, valve radios, old projectors and radios used in ancient times.
This video will be a motivation for everyone and also honoring for his effort.
Radio
Radio was the cheapest form of entertainment, and it was the most popular medium during World War II. The accessibility and availability meant it fueled propaganda and could reach a large number of citizens. Radio helped entertain and inform the population, encouraging citizens to join in the war effort.
One of the most popular shows in Britain during the time, Tommy Handley's It's That Man Again was able to reach up to 40% of the British population. However, the success of radio propaganda during World War I, went on to inspire fascist and social regimes during World War II. Effective radio propaganda arrived in the form of news reports by Edward. R. Murrow. He covered the Battle of Britain and nightly bombing raids in London, with his vivid imagery capturing the nation’s imaginations.
The first radio receivers used a coherer and sounding board, and were only able to receive CW continuous wave (CW) transmissions, encoded with Morse code (wireless telegraphy). Later wireless telephony|transmission and reception of speech became possible, although Morse code transmission continued in use until the 1990s.
crystal sets
These basic radios used no battery, had no amplification and could operate only high-impedance headphones. They would receive only very strong signals from a local station. They were popular among the less wealthy due to their low build cost and zero run cost. Crystal sets had minimal ability to separate stations, and where more than one high power station was present, inability to receive one without the other was a common problem.
Some crystal set users added a carbon amplifier or a mechanical turntable amplifier to give enough output to operate a speaker. Some even used a flame amplifier.
In this video viewers can watch all types of vintage radios used

I have old valve radio
Superb video making us remember the good old days .Some models are recognizable like National Panasonic RQ 547D, RQ 565 D, 5310 etc. There is a small Bush transistor in which the dial rotates instead of the needle. It was very popular. I don't remember the model name. Someone who knows it can inform me. Thanks for the video.

All types of ancient radios are there in this video, I have captured as much as possible
How sweet I love it, so nice my dear

Mostly two-in-ones (radio cum cassette players) and vey old radios. No silicon transistor sets of 60s and 70s.
Before 60s and 70s and 2nd world War time radios also shown in this video
@@bharathmedias Yes, but where is the continuity? Then came germanium transistor sets, then silicon transistors, then IC-transistor mix, then IC and now IC -cum chips with or without DSP.
@@pradeepkumarpanda7626 he clearly explained about the ancient radios, start of 20th century radios, later developments and more informations...it's not a science and technological video or educational video to explain its functions like evolution of radios from valve to transistor and later ICs. Check the video title. It's a show at coimbatore for the world radio day.....
Brother i also need that old radio
Gi I want this old radio & tv
Great to see the vintage radios which must be protected and cared. Do you help me to get spares for my Philips Philetta Deluxe MW SW radio. I have a versatile knowledge and experience in servicing old radio and tape recorders but finding spares for those old radios becoming difficult. I am living in Coimbatore. If you have any suppliers who supplies valves, germanium transistors and other rare spare parts please give me their contact information sir. I love radio very much. I always hear medium wave and shortwave radios everyday. I am not interested in FM and TV programs. Will you help me to restore my Philips radio sir please.
I will let you know once I get the right person dealing spares
@@bharathmedias Thankyou sir. I would like to visit the next radio day museum. Until early 2000s radio broadcasts became more prominent than today. Now we have AIR, CRI international, VOA, KNLS English broadcast, and other arabian stations sticking around when we tune to the AM radio bands. We may have all the advanced technologies today but radios are always special. Starting from domestic, military, and rescue purposes radios are still worthy. Thankyou for your evergreen videos.
try it in this website. you may get some spares of old radios. check this website. electroncomponents .
