Thanks for the video they always help me! :) Your movie story kinda went like my last trip to the theatre a while back only I couldn't go back in. I'd gotten so nervous about needing to get up for the loo I obv had to go and being in the middle of the row I was pretty much stuck so when I did have to get out it was horrible having to make people stand so I could get past. I tried pulling myself together but I ended up just leaving and waiting outside for the interval to text my friend and let her know where I was. I remember sitting on the ground in tears not knowing what to do. My friend came and gave me a massive hug and helped me get home. I'm lucky she is really supportive! While she doesn't understand my anxiety she still tries her best to calm me down when I get in a panic and she always just lets me rant away when I'm worried about something. I am in a few fb groups but I find it hard to open up and chat about my anxiety.
It's good to see that someone is sharing information about anxiety. I was diagnosed with panic disorder over 20 years ago, and while I'm a lot better now I wish there had been resources like this when I was a scared 12 year old. In your BF's defense, 10 minutes isn't unreasonable for the ladies room. Also, theatres are the worst! (I have to sit on the aisle or I'll feel like bolting the whole movie). Keep up the good work!
