I really, really loved this game. While the story turns out a little too bleak and sad in the end, the first half of the game and the various intervene missions and Final Fantasy references are just amazing. It looks utterly gorgeous (I actually love the Chibi style) and the voice acting is entertaining. This will easily go down as one of my favorites this generation.

They are accompanied and aided by Tama, who tells them of the power in their arms to capture and control Mirages. Traveling across Grymoire, the siblings encounter multiple Final Fantasy characters divided into different factions, and must face the threat of the Bahamut Army, which seeks to cast Grymoire into chaos. In the end Lann and Reynn both sacrifice themselves to split all the worlds. This game is somewhat like Drakengard 3 in that it seems to have a fractured second timeline. This is the main quest only. We're considering doing the second fractured timeline, but waiting to see if it's worht it. As always we used important gameplay, relevant gameplay and all cutscenes.
I actually was crying at the end. I love Lann, he was one of my favorite characters and I just started crying when he was gone. I’m crying while I’m typing this comment. The sad song at the end made it worse. I was thinking about getting this game , but if I crying watching it, I might cry again if I actually play it. I miss Lann way too much it hurts now just thinking about him, even seeing, typing, and saying his name hurts me in my heart. When I really like a Final Fantasy character, I bring them into my heart, but when one dies, gets killed off, or is gone and never coming back, it hurts so bad, it hurts me and my heart. I can’t take this anymore, I’ll stop typing, but I’ll say this one last time. I miss you Lann. You made me smile and laugh. I love you Lann, and I’ll mine you.
This is so much like Pokémon! The Mirages are obvious, the champions are TMs that aren’t given to Mirages but are strong as heck attacks anyway, the gates are Fly spots, and so much more.
It's nice to hear that Shelke actually pronounces Shinra accurately this time around unlike in Dirge of Cerberus.. Tho I was surprised to see her in this since that game wasn't that good..But I guess since they had young Tifa from Before Crises/Crises Core they might as well have someone from Dirge of Cerberus who wasn't the main character >3>

Not all cutscenes are there, I'm afraid. There's a True Ending route that you only get by playing the game twice, and a Secret Ending when completed the whole game, DLC included.
Just started watching and finding it cute but I just hate that my kingdom hearts brain cell keeps trying to see if there's a chance lann and reynn will be in a future entry lmao. They are medals in khux so...it's a possibility :p
