I actually have an old contract in Berlin from 2005, its a bit over 100 Euros for 32 qm. Alltogether with cost of water and heating its 230 Euros. Its really small and there is just a niche for the kitchen - but no way I'm giving up on this contract 🙄😀
very cozy and nice, great daylight. 750 € for 40qm is not really cheap, it's definitely not one of those old contracts. it's just not one of those furnished overpriced appartments most expats rent in Mitte. Anyhow, really atmopspheric flat for one person. I personally couldn't live there in two. My Berlin flat is 49qm, I live there by myself, and pay much less.
It's likely to be the same apartment I paid €290 for until back in 2015 before being evicted from the apartment so the owning group could step into the game called gentrification... Very cute couple and beautiful home. It is just hurting to see how excited she was to get this apartment for 750 "only" - although I know some shockingly pay twice as much.
This apartment is everything 😮 I am in love with the whole nature feel, I am obsessed with forests and jungles so this is perfect for me! Also the wooden handles are amazing 😍 And the moss lamp shade, such a cool idea! Great video! ❤️
Sadly it's from a start up that did not make it but this model here is comparable! sunology.de/products/balkon-solaranlage-balkonkraftwerk-sunology-city
Beautiful appartement but very small...So thankful for my appartement 🙏 I have 70qm and my rent is 840 Euro. In Berlin. The prices in Berlin are insane.
Yes, they are now, after the old residents have been gentrified away, because there are always people for whom a rent of €18 per square metre is ‘cheap’.
Omg Reka seems to be so nice. I love these videos about renting in Berlin, I will be looking for something in Berlin next year cause I want to move and I'm already picturing myself having you and showing you my apartment haha
Omg definitely hit me up once you’re settled in and ready! 😍 and all the best with the move! 🏠 (and yes Reka is the absolute sweetest human being ever 😭)
I live in Berlin and pay 630 € for 52 qm. I'm in this apartment since 8 years. I'm very sorry for new neighbors of mine, because they are paying 300 € more...😢
In what world ist 750€ for 40sqm a good price? That’s up there even in Berlin. I literally looked at an apartment in Mitte four years ago that was 900€ for 85sqm.
Oh! 😂 it’s right next to the door to the right when you enter the bathroom. I guess it’s difficult to see in the video, maybe we should have shown it haha

700 for 40 square metres is not cheap. I pay €600 for just under 70 square metres, with a new tenancy agreement. That's cheap. Of course, you have to find that first and of course, I don't live on Hackescher Markt. But to describe a price per square metre of €17.5 as cheap - well, people from Berlin can only laugh at that.
As a designer, its just a regular nice apartment wih ugly wooden handles and plants. It makes me think Gandalf lived here. Some solar panels on balcony and plants are not making the place Eco-Friendly. Most interesting part for this house is Rent.
I actually happen to love the wooden handles the most, they're freaking awesome looking. Also that's a huge compliment because Gandalf is a huge vibe, everyone knows that.
@@aleksdarkova if i go to heaven in someway i will spend most my time with Gandalf smoking pipe together and talking about his journeys however i will ask why he left this apartment, it was only 750€…
Could you live with so many plants!?🪴 I wish I could but knowing my irresponsible self, I think they would all die very quickly 🫠
In love with the flat, such inspiration, thank you! Also her, so natural and friendly🌱
I think it’s my favorite one I’ve shot so far! They’ve done such a great job with it 😍 and yes, Reka is a sweetheart!
Such a warm, lovely home. They did such a good job with the space. I love the plants. That monstera is so big and beautiful!! 💛💙💜💚

Die Couch ist der Hammer :D auch das es cozy und minimalistisch aussieht, dachte nicht das sowas funktioniert finde ich sehr sehr schön.

I live in 86m2 with my family and we pay 850€, contract from 2020, 750€ for 40m2 is everything BUT cheap!!
Which company did u use
Keep in mind: It is in Mitte Rosenthaler Platz. So premium location! But yes, it is now one of those 20-30 years old one still of course
Such a nice flat with so much DIY stuff. 🙏
Right?! I love it! 😍
Ther apartment looks so welcoming
Very nice atmosphere, I like it!!!
Love it! Full of personality and very green. Nice job ;)
Oi, linda a sua casa, você é lindíssima,e fiquei encantada com seu banheiro 🎉❤

Thats sadly true. I was born in Berlin and i live my whole Life here. I have to left my hometown in Kreuzberg because it was too expensive 😢

Is €630 warm rent?
That's quite pricey per qm, but nonetheless very cute and cozy! You obviously have a talent for decorating 😊
My friend in Berlin had a same bed, he was a dancer. Once he fell off the bed, he is not a dancer anymore.
💕🏠💕
When did u get it
Love that you’re a climate activist!! Also love the DIYs!
Is Reka hungarian? Im just assuming from the accent )and the name hihi) :)) If yes, szia Réka! 🥰 Lovely video!
She’s German 😊

rent means so kalt miete right? you need to clarify
Warm
This has to be more than 40 qm. Perhaps not much. But more.
Lovely apartment... but I couldn't see a shower or a bathtub. Could it be just me??
Where did you book this apartment?
They got it from a family friend 😊
