    I am moving to Berlin in April from India and I am super happy to have come across your channel. Super useful!
    I booked a Studio in advance too at an average rent of around 1150 from April to October, near Prenzlaeuer Berg. I wish I found one among the areas you lisited because 870 is a great deal. I will keep a watch out for the next apartment search!
    Also, as someone who loves food, it gives me great joy to know that groceries can be done around 250 + being generous and I love Coffee. Its 3 AM now and I should be asleep but I am even more excited.
    p.s: I hope youtube algorithm works its magic because I loved the video and the calm + engaging vibe of it! Keep going!

      That's wonderful! Congrats on making the move (or soon) and securing a place, that's half the work of getting here. But it is truly an amazing city with all of its quirks and character, I'm excited for you :)
      And thank you, that's the kind of energy I hope to put out into the world ✨

    can i ask something i looked at wunderflats and everyone says pets are not allowed is that reserved for dogs and cats . i have a cat he is seven years

    • @findingfelicitas
      @findingfelicitas  12 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Hi, yes some apartments do allow pets on Wunderflats, you have to filter your search and check with the landlord if they are okay with the type of pet. Cats are usually more accepted than dogs i think!

    I love the phrase warm and cold rents!!...The cost of living in Berlin is ridiculously cheap for a capital city. In New York "normal" people say they spend $5,000 a month!!....Do they rob a bank or are "normal" people paid ridiculously high wages??....That's insane!

    • @findingfelicitas
      @findingfelicitas  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I agree! It’s a great way to differentiate the two. I have heard of the ridiculous rent prices in NYC, though SF was not far off either when I was living there. Definitely needed multiple jobs just to keep up…

    Is this 870 for a one bedroom ? Since its mentioned in the video 1 bedroom is likely 1.5k

    • @findingfelicitas
      @findingfelicitas  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes 870 € is for my 1bed apartment that is a bit further away from the city center and hotspot neighborhoods, those areas you’ll find upwards of 1500€

    • @MohamedElzahed89
      @MohamedElzahed89 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @findingfelicitas thanks a lot im moving to berlin from dubai. I found your budget looks reasonable

    • @kurtpleavin
      @kurtpleavin 21 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@MohamedElzahed89 as mentioned, which suburb you look at and who you're renting through can differ the price greatly. For example, I'm in a 1 bedroom 32m2 apartment in Lichtenberg (20 mins from Mitte on the train) and pay 460 € per month kalt and there are regularly apartments advertised in the area that are the same size for about the same price.
