As someone who has barely even touched this game, it is amazing how easy you've made everything to follow. I felt that in the last video, too, but you do a fantastic job of describing things in enough detail that I can mostly parse what is happening, at least on a surface level. And based on the other comments, you still seem to provide sufficient depth to be highly engaging to those with more experience with this game. One thing that has really helped me approach these videos is the video titles. Even if I didn't know before watching what *exactly* was meant by 'low morale' (or 'liquid pipes'), I could make a reasonable guess based on context clues. The term 'dupes' did confuse me at first because I'm not used to the game slang, but I understood within seconds of starting to watch the video. Because of all of this, the video is formatted in a way which is very approachable for someone like me. Thank you for making some fascinating content, and I'm excited to see what you do next (like the promised 'no gas pipes' video).
The hard part was finding out what temp is needed to change its state to cooked, and does it work for all foods. If so a chef is not necessary. Just a conveyor rail going thru some hot water, and sweepers. Voila!
I had no clue that binge eater dupes grab from... Well everything! And I'm surprised that for a run of Oxygen Not Included - It didn't end in duplicant slave labor, But instead ended in such a wholesome way!
nice work! 100% stress killed a run recently, everyone was running around in piles of vomit and nobody would clean it up, meanwhile the destroyers were getting rid of room bonuses and the binge eaters were keeping the rest of the colony hungry. i definitely learned a few things here! mostly that mesh tiles are your friend lol
21:40: "wait, that's illegal!?" 42:10: holy shit, the binge eaters are UNSTOPPABLE At this point I would not be surprised to see them snatch food from conveyor loaders, or that's input material stored in cooking stations.
Woot Stinky made it this time.!. That must have been annoying listening to the warnings going off.. ALL the time. This made Max difficulty look like child's play taking advantage of every stress Debuff buff not typically used. plants smell. carpet tiles and the big sleeper unit. which we determined here we don't need the morale points from foods or furniture if our stress reduction is so high we will never be stressed even if their outside their morale limitations. I think this proved it. SO everyone throw out all that time wasting furniture for the morale points. There's also an interesting trait found on George in the shipping crate with Charismatic feat which results in a overjoyed reaction when they talk to him. I always have him on my space missions to clean out new planets with all neural vacillator traits as well.
i always found the ugly cryers traight difficult as if the dupe with it was on a planet itself it would become suicidle, usually sat in a co2 pit and sufficated or wouldnt eat and starved. was always a fun playthrough
I own ONI but Im really bad at it so I only understand like 50% but honestly I could hear you narrate paint drying because of your voice and style of writing.
amazing, this content is really fun, exited for the no gas pipe run, i believe you can do it! also you never reached 0% stress until cycle 810, you start the game with 5% always
I have watched both of your videos and absolutly love these challenges! These insane things are what keeps me engaged with this awesome game! Can I ask what mod do you use to place whole rooms like the binge eater dorms?
Iv always wanted to see a playthrough where every dupe you take had flatulence to see just how fast the gas can pile up, or to see if you can actually run a base off of the natural gas from them. Would probably need a lot of dupes for that though.
I think the last video with saturn critter trap/Pip killer for Hydrogen took the cake, Ive never messed with those, but now that i know pretty cool. I also loved the beeta hive in the rocket.
I have a run planned that focuses on some late game shenanigans after the no gas pipe run. I'm trying to figure out this "different" sour gas boiler for that one.
@@sharkiiigaming I think the biggest killer for anyone playing late game runs is Frame rate. If you could Identify the biggest frame rate killers that would be very helpful. This doesnt have to be in a playthru you could just post a small video explaining what those are and some possible workarounds. Some i know are the biggest frame killers are critters counts and dupe travel paths and conveyors. I think what you are missing is some of the details of your not so normal builds like the what you did to cool the Niobium gyser in your first playthru using Nuclear waste. Could this be used for cooling water, which seems to be an energy intensive issue. If you do lets have a slow walk thru showing the build in detail. That thing had insane cooling ability. could it even be used for LOX or liquid hydrogen??
could you try beating the game without a teleport or using the Orbital Data Collection Lab? getting data banks from Veritas buildings, geysers and artifacts
Amazing video, if I may ask, when you are planting the sleet wheat, at 52:55, what are you doing with the ceiling trim? Just curious, I don't know what it's for.
This is to control where pips would plant seeds. Pips wont attempt to plant on tiles that have a ceiling trim on top until I cancel it. Got this advice from another commentator.
@@sharkiiigaming There's also a Mod that allow you to set the Priority to zero so dupes never build it, essentially the same thing, but the mod also helps with planning so you can plan out stuff without them building it. helpful so you don't pause the game.
47:58 had that happen to me once, too little CO2 and a bit of rotten stuff destroyed the COs but the sweeper moved it out fast enough to prevent the place from beeing PO... a rare unicorn but yeah... sucked big time
@Sharkill i have a new challenge 4 u :3 feed 10 delecta vole and shear the same 10 at least 5 times until they die of old age ....................... *GOOD* *LUCK* .....................
They do get this debuff called insatiable hunger while they're stressing which makes them lose an additional -4000 calories a cycle, but they still get calories from bing eating. That plus their regular meal means they won't starve. I never got a starvation warning for them.
I love how the sheer sadness of a sad dupe is enough to repel salt water.
Rip ruby... you were anything but the best of us.
"It's like a kids' birthday party" omg that's incredibly accurate

I recommend you title the video "can you beat ONI with 77 morale need?" just"low morale" doesn't do it justice
Max morale need would probably be a better phrasing
Yeah I didn’t understand the name until starting video. This is way crazier
The amount of game knowledge in use to circumvent disaster amazes me. Awesome work once again.
Didn't know you could actually cook with just heat
The hard part was finding out what temp is needed to change its state to cooked, and does it work for all foods. If so a chef is not necessary. Just a conveyor rail going thru some hot water, and sweepers. Voila!
@@dean4939 it only works with eggs iirc
Only works for eggs to omelettes.
damn I didn't know dupes could grab stuff from the rails.

3:12 Yeah, that has to be a record. You can't take your eyes off them for a second, or they start protesting like this
An ONI masterwork. Featuring exclusive never before seen on YT content because most players avoid dealing with stress.
Nicely done. Crazy amount of effort goes into your videos!
"every time they vomit if they skip their lunch break they refuse to eat for some reason" I wonder why lol
"Welcome to hell" Not sugarcoating it, ig, goddamn
I had no idea they could eat from rails!

I have been WAITING for this video! Your content is so fun to watch.
Wow. That's a very good gameplay
Let's go. I'm excited for this one ❤
48:40 the co2 froze and became a pile of solid co2 on the floor
Wow some of the genius work arounds can be used in so many other circumstances. Great video
Ma'man is relentless in not using full size liquid locks.
I love you videos, You pushed the limitations of the game! TNX
Love it! Keep up the unique ONI content!
Another very very cool video! Looking forward to the gas pipe one!
I love that intro, well done animating it!

OH you used the helmets to sort the stress types, I pulled my hair out imagining to remember what they were.
EEEE LOVE YOUR CHANNEL AND YOUR VOUCE AND IM SO EXCITED FOR THIS VUDEO

so beautiful
With a bunch of stress vomiters you can at least get water problems way later.
Running gag where you accidentally print a Stinky every run via devmode, please
Tbf, the last season of game of thrones made me throw up as well.
amazing.
