Beautiful bike. I'm old....let me be. I actually had the 1985 GSXR 750 F....and VF1000R....and an RG500.... Old can be OK.

Love the 1100K 👍🏻 am a big fan of oil cooled GSXRs, have a special Slingshot myself. If the charging system is working well, you can use a lithium battery, mine's been on for 9 years and has worked perfectly. Good lithium batteries have circuitry to help protect them and as you'll know, you can leave the bike for months without a trickle charger......plus they weigh the same as an empty box !

The moment, they put alcohol in the gasoline, it was crying.
Either you run the engine every week twice, or run into this problem. It even attacks rubber parts in the carbs

@@ChasingTenthsdon't leave them dry.. or the tank.. seals & gaskets will dry out & shrink then leak.. there are fuel conditioners im aware of that help against that as well as dressing cylinder bores & valve seats etc from corrosion & lube for the next startup.. also DON'T run you engines periodically without give them a hot run.. to prevent that condesation issue.. condensation in the engines & box builds very quickly even with full synthetics.. on that point.. don't use "semi-synthentics" there are no stds to tell you HOW MUCH synthetic is in the blend.. & 10% isn't going to be any benefit at all.. consider just using good qual mineral oil & changing it out every run vs the cost of full synthetic.. I used to change my z1r the moment it looked a tiny bit murky.. & used it in my cars.. loved that bike & oils have improved so much it the 40yrs since..

Definitely, I have used it for the last 15 years, got a R1 4xv been stood 6 years, bottle of Forte in it, starts first time every time, even the same fuel in it from 5 years+.
Recently started my SP2 that had been stood since 2013, started first time then started spluttering and running on one cylinder. Bottle of Forte sorted it.
I put a bottle in the tank, give it a shake and run the bike for 5 mins and leave it to sit for a day or so then start it again for 5 mins and leave it again. You will gradually notice improvements and finally clear. It may clear sooner.
