Bill Laimbeer is a former Detroit Pistons player in the 80s and 90s. Played center and was known for hard fouls and starting fights.
Basically a love him or hate him player, depending of if he played for your favorite team or not. Kind of like Draymond Green right now, in a sense, only nowhere near what Bill did.

I had all kinds of supplies to try and help for years, medicine, breathing strips, an air purifier, and other strong things to try and clear pathways for air or atleast make it easier, but I still suffered for years
my body was like this until I was prayed for, Jesus miraculously took away my suffering instantly, and I am grateful
Fun fact: Bill Laimbeer played during the Michael Jordan era of the NBA and is considered one of the dirtiest players ever.

I've been subscribed to them for years but kinda stopped watching them ever since they stopped doing the Tacoman Plays series, and started focusing solely on Dead By Daylight stuff (mainly because I don't play the game).
The Blues Brothers game is second only to Home Improvement for most obviously having made the game first and then we slapped the license on top.

they had fixed it by the time the SNES game released, but the first version of Dennis the Menace (for Amiga?) was unwinnable because they DIDN'T HAVE TIME TO PROGRAM THE FINAL BOSS AND ENDING, so they just put a gap that you couldn''t jump in the final stage.
The Double Dragon game was heavily censored for the SNES. the sega version has blood, and lets the characters actually use their guns
Something about Captain Novolin makes me sad. I appreciate the intention behind the game, I can understand what they were going for.
But the game is just bad. The superhero character has no special powers or anyhing that makes him likeable and the game isn't fun at all.
It's a dud, and I feel sorry for any kid with diabetes that had to endure Captain Novolin. :/
If he can't punch the sugary food, they should have at least give him a beam attack.

Here's what I have pieced together based on what Vinny has played:
In order to at least be decent or acceptable, a tie-in game should try to adapt the material it's based on. A bad game will instead use that media as a theme with generic, barely thought out level design.

It almost seems like there's a trend with these bad SNES games. Character has to avoid enemies but can't attack. That or in the case of Captain Novolin being kinda useless. Either way I did very much enjoy watching. Also I really enjoy the Dracula movie too, I just wish the game could have been as equally good.
The Bram Stoker's Dracula pinball game was AWESOME if you ever get a chance to play it.

Also, those guys that made the Dracula game had a big role in developing the ps1 and it's devkit.

I played a lot of that Dennis the Menace game as a kid, and I only ever got to the second level, which iirc was a sewer level and I couldn't beat it. Fun fact: Dennis the Menace was released for the Commodore Amiga, but they never actually finished the game on that platform before they had to ship it. There's a bottomless pit later in the SNES version that's rather trivial to cross because there's a floating platform to bridge it, and they removed the platform in the Amiga version because nothing after that stage existed. The ledge is too far to jump, but it's close enough that it looks doable, because there's a lot of those types of "last moment jumps" in this game.
That's not even the only time they pulled that stunt either: in one of the Robocop games (i want to say it was the C64 version of the first game), one of the levels has an impossible time limit because, again, there isn't a playable game after that level.

My friend had that Dennis the Menace game back in the day. We could never figure out how to get past the big guy that grabs you, so we were never able to beat the first level. Looking at videos of the other levels, it seems like the rest of the game wasn't much better lol...

I actually bought the Beavis and Butthead game. I tried to return it and the store wouldn’t take it back. I told my mom it was a Beavis and Butthead game, she freaked out and made big deal at the store and I got a refund.

Double Dragon V was one of the few games I couldn't remember the name of but played a lot as a kid. Crazy to see it now, back then I enjoyed it quite a bit.

Lester the Unlikely is supposed to get better as you go along, like the character is supposed to grow more confident as you progress through the levels, which is a nice concept in my opinion, but I suppose the execution wasn't all that great

Combat Basketball was always available at the video stores for rental when it was originally released. That's how bad it was. Still Bill Laimbeer is a badass though.
I had a hell of a flashback when I saw Vin dig out Double Dragon V. I completely forgot about it for two decades, but I definitely used to play that as a little kiddo. Can't forget that music and that weird ass yellow skeleton alien. And the game glitching out weirdly with the audio when unpausing.. I remember it unsettling me a lot as a kid, but then I was also terrified of Street Fighter 2.

no the sword swings in lagoon were fast enough but the range of your attack and the brutal bosses and the fact that your damage on bosses would underflow to 0 if you tried grinding levels were all painful

Bill Laimbeer was known for his incredible violence in play as though he thought he was playing hockey instead of basketball, so it makes sense they gave him murder-basketball.
