I wear my hair stretched 99% of the time and use the Revair regularly, never experienced heat damage. I’d take this with a grain of salt, use as directed
I've had my Revair for 4 years and have never experienced heat damage. Always use heat protectant no matter what straightening tool you use on your hair.
I’ve had zero issues with my rev air BUT I always use heat protection. For the past 3 years+ I’ve been using it on tension 7 with high heat with no issues. My usage varies from weekly to monthly depending on my mood. Plus I only keep it in for 60-90secs max and run my Apple Watch timer to prevent over blow drying. My strands are fine and dense and SUPER coily. I’m proud of her for speaking up and hopefully my tips can help. The revair is 100% worth it if you regularly blow dry or want to dry locs or braids with ease.
I left a comment on CynDoll's RevAir video and told her it can never cause damage if it's used correctly. She got defensive and called me stupid for buying it, meanwhile she couldn't explain what was so bad about the RevAir. She has issues 🤦🏾♀
There’s no way in hell she’s a real “hair research scientist” maybe she’s a research scientist in marine biology or some random bs bc her comprehension of hair science is nonexistent.
no revair slander will be tolerated. i have fine hair strands and i have yet to experience any heat damage from the revair. its actually revolutionary… especially for us that have curlier/ kinkier hair strands. there isn’t any other blow dryer on the market that can stretch hair as quick with a max heat setting of 220°. absolutely in love with my revair.
I had to cut 4 inches of heat damage off in June because I MISUSED my revair. 1. I did it on wet hair instead of damp hair (70% dry at least) 2. I used too much hair product. so much so that it was coming out of the filter of my revair. 3. I didn't use heat protectant 4. I used it on the HIGHEST heat and speed setting 5. I never checked on my ends I was over dependent on it. So I finally got curious about what my hair looked like in its natural state and the bottom of my hair was pretty heat damaged. I cut it off, have been doing mini twists on air dried hair since. And once the year is up I plan on using my revair again, the proper way. Also I have really thick kinky hair and this still happened.
By you saying you used too much hair product, what hair product did you use too much of? Cuz I’m a little confused on how you used too much hair product but didn’t use heat protectant? What do you mean by that? Thanks for sharing your experience!!!!
oh ofcourse. I used too much leave in cream and oil. which is what I use to moisturize my hair all the time. in the instructions it says not to use too much products in your hair before using, but I didn’t read it. that's why I'm not mad, it was my fault. I was also nev6taught to use heat protectant while blowdrying, I thought people who did that were exaggerated.
@@mocchiatotvI don’t use a leave in with my Revair. Only my heat protectant serum. I recently did a trim but only because I haven’t had one for around 4 years (awful I know) I have retained a lot of length and it’s made my hair routine so much easier. Handheld blow dryers would make my hair so crispy and dry. Try just a heat protectant serum or the Keracare silken seal! 😊
Been natural for 6 years. I now have waist length type 4 hair and my goal is hip length. The Revair has been a huge helping this past year. I bought it last summer and love it. I use it every week on on high suction and high “heat”. Not one strand of heat damage. I don’t use heat protectant but I do use leave in conditioner before using. Not sure what this lady did and how she used the Revair for her to get heat damage results. Personally, my hair shrinks back up 100% and curls are still very much type 4a. I would go as far to say that my hair is healthier ! I am able to stay on top of my trims and it really helped me recover from the damage I got from Mielle’s products. Also ppl talk about the price but understand it’s an investment. Black women will spend thousands on hair weaves, wigs, braids etc. I wear my natural hair 90% of the time and hardly wear any hair additives. So 300$ was small investment compared to what I use to spend on hair before I went natural. It’s not a blow dryer. When I blow dry my hair especially if I were to do weekly or even biweekly I experience severe breakage. The heat is often to high and the low settings just make my hair tangled. My hair will start to feel kind dry or textured. But the rev air makes my hair so smooth I can tell the cuticles are laying down , and my hair just gets softer as the days go by.
I’ve been wondering around this too. The way I see it, using heat tools, there is always a chance for damage. The revair is essentially a tension-method blow dryer. I will say though, having heat concentrated on your hair all at once rather than constantly moving it up and down the shaft is a way to get heat damage. 😅
Regardless of what type of heating tool you use any of them can cause heat damage. You have to adjust the heat to medium to reduce any potential heat damage it may cause you in the future.
10:20 a 4th big chop? Honestly, I don't think this lady knows what she's doing like at all. It seems like she's constantly messing up her hair and constantly trying to grow it but doesn't actually know how to retain length or know much about hair in general. I think she needs to take a break from making these videos and actually learn about the science of hair and hair care from reputable sources (cause for some reason some people are drawn to pseudoscience and fake news). With how short her hair is, I don't even get why she would even be using the revair that much or for that long or that high of heat to cause heat damage.
Revair is really convenient but I do notice it can dehydrate my hair compared to other drying methods or air drying. Although it has the potential to cause less damage, I think the possibility of heat damage is still present for any heat tool. We have to be honest about how healthy our hair really is, whether we’re protecting it and hydrating properly, and how well it can tolerate heat in general
@@aeriii4681Regarding dehydration of the hair strands, I have noticed that too while using it on the highest heat setting. But when I use it on low heat, it's not so bad. Natural85 gave a great tutorial on proper use and prep work. A light leave in before using it helps to combat the dehydrated feeling.
User error. Never heard anyone get heat damage from the revair. She didn’t use proper heat protection and obviously it’s different from your normal hairdryer so you NEED to read the manual and watch videos before using it. Also her holding on to heat damaged hair saying she “fixed it before” shows how she cares for it 🤷🏾♀️ Its never beneficial to try and save hair that will never revert to its natural state. And to be honest her hair still looked lifeless and dry in the update. She needs to focus on improving her hair care routine before adding new products and devices.
I have seen a couple of hairstylists on TH-cam say that they stopped using it on their clients' hair because they felt that the hair was damaged long term. No need to gaslight the woman who is reporting the damage. If the Revair works for you - then go for it all day long. Let's not turn this into the no oils no butters trend that folks protected like their first born child.....Then the folks with damage finally got their message through years later.
At the end of the day, it's heat. If you're using it on high heat for a long time, heat damage (even with heat protectant) is a possibility. I don't think this situation is like the no oils and butter bgc mess. I think the reason people are saying how it didn't cause them heat damage because saying the revair causes heat damage is like saying the babyliss titanium flat iron (or any popular heat tool) causes heat damage. It's the heat that is causing heat damage...like it's not rocket science. It's nonsensical to blame the entire device itself because then anytime anyone gets heat damage with any device like the aforementioned flat iron, they should come to the internet and start proclaiming that this flat iron causes heat damage and therefore you shouldn't use it. I also don't see people gaslighting her like thr bgc cult members do. a they're just saying their experiences with it and mentioning user error. That's not what gaslighting is.
Sorry, not to be a jerk, but why are people surprised that a blow dryer can cause damage? Just cause marketing says it doesn't? Lol Am I missing something here? Now, i dont think the revair causes any more damage than a regular blow dryer does, but I'm sure its exactly the same at worst and maybe similar/ slightly less at best. My main motivation for buying it is that it's quick and easy to use, especially when you're trying to stretch twists. Cause lord knows i struggle with the revlon blow drying brush and blow dryer comb attachments in general.
The original video is from 3 years ago. Why is Cyn Doll bringing this up now? I’ve been using this baby for 4 years now. Her hair looks pretty damaged already and you should not use heat on hair that is unhealthy. And she has been natural since 2013 and admitted this would’ve been her 4th big chop. I bet she’s doing other stuff that’s contributing to her hair being unhealthy. Unless she just likes her hair being short.
I haven’t seen Cyns video but considering this is 3 years old looks like she’s trying to just start propaganda. The girl didn’t even thoroughly explain what she did wrong. For all we know she used the rev air then flat ironed.
I agree. I've had revair for years and have used it weekly and sometimes multiple times a week on my hair on HIGH and 7 tension only and ain't no way the Revair did that. She was doing something else. My hair is 4b.
Wow this is a first for me too. I love my RevAir but I get what’s she’s saying. I use mine at the highest heat and tension but only like once every other week and for less than 30 seconds. I haven’t had any issue but I’ll be mindful of this but I love it too much. I can’t say I’ll be changing how I use it any time soon lol
I got heat damage from my revair because I got lazy and started using it incorrectly lol. Using it correctly shouldn’t result in damage because the temp really isn’t even that high.
1. We need to do better! 2. Revair is a tool and when misused it can/will be damaging just like anything else 3. Heat Protectant is missing from the equation. 4. Prepping your hair for heat starts from the shampoo phase. 5. We need to be a bit further along in understanding how to prevent certain things like this from happening, maybe thats my strict nature talking, but at what point do we say... it is my fault, i knew better?! Lessening the experimental phase in finding out what works or even testing the limits of what our hair can do?**granted she address that in her video, but just questioning in general**
I love Cyn, she's the truth. My hair has flourished since I found her. I stopped following all these "natural" hairstylist and went back to old school practices. I wash, condition, leave-in, blow dry (with a cheap $30 blow dryer), heat protectant, flat iron and serum. That's it. Hair thick asf, shiny as hell and has body. If I want curls, i do a rod set or create cold curls. Everything she has been warning women about is coming to pass. "Hair weathering takes anywhere from 6 months to 25 years to show up"- Cyn. i see you can lead a horse to water but you can't make 'em drink.
Of course hair weathering occurs and at different rates. It occurs tonthose who just wash and air dry with little manipulation as well as those who whip out the Revlon dyer after every wash. Lol! What she said is not revolutionary.
I have purchased the Revair ,but haven't used it as yet. I was waiting a bit. Coming from relaxer to natural with no heat. Over a year transitioning right now. I needed this video for later. Thanks,
I have been using RevAir on both my and my daughter's hair for two years. Zero heat damage. I'm waist length, and my daughter has tailbone length 4a/b hair. Tips used on towel dried hair. No heat until mostly dry, then low heat, and final a short blast of high heat. Finish off with no heat to close the cuticles. We most don't use heat protectant. She is likely using it wrong.
I think any tool that utilises heat is bound to be at risk of causing potential heat damage? Same way any process by which you are changing (breaking/reforming hair bonds) can cause damage. It doesn’t make sense to alter your hair in any form (no matter your hair pattern) and not take into consideration that you could potentially cause damage no? No matter how “safe” a product is marketed. That’s why no matter what, proceed with anything that’s altering something’s natural state with caution I think
Cyndoll thinks everything causes damage. She is clearly a grifter publishing videos to earn $$ - she talks in roundabout ways for 20-30 mins to meet some YT minimum. She also is not a scientist and that’s clear to anyone who has studied science… I’m not saying revair does or does not cause heat damage with misuse, but she is not a reliable source and relying on her uncritically is a mistake.
Think of this revair and all blow dryers like the sun. Proper sun exposure no burnt skin, improper sun exposure burnt skin. This will vary by skin type and melanin content. Now heat dries out hair and skin because both absorb the heat compounding the initial temperature effects so proper use is key to avoiding damage. Even though blow dryer heat is indirect it can damage the cuticle and cause elasticity loss if concentrated in one area too long, even with heat protectant. This risk is higher with direct heat tools. Happy blowdrying!
I've never had any problems with it. I also use it on my daughter. I wash and condition then use chi heat protector on towel dried hair then 30 to 60 seconds per sections and use small sections
To me when I see an ad where the Revair is being used, the hair comes out looking stiff. Not flowing and looking blown out but like the hair would move in one stiff unit…
@@BelwillCoily Initially it comes out looking "stiff" but that's because of the direction of the air and the tension setting. It doesn't remain stiff looking and your hair is pliable for styling. It's a really good product and I haven't experienced heat damage from it.
I have one and I do my mom’s hair and my hair with it. Had it for over a year and no problems so far. I usually wear my hair out and my mom protective styles a lot.
You can't blame user error on the blow dryer. You can easily damage your hair by misusing any tool or even just not being gentle with your hair. I have fine hair also, but I only manipulate my hair once a week. The question to ask yourself is; Do I have a healthy haircare routine? Deep conditioning weekly? What does my hair respond negatively to? How often am I moisturizing? It is essential that we know our hair first before overusing any tools.
That's still alot. I think there are studies out there that say anything heat above 160F is enough to completely 1. Dehydrate the hair 2. Cause fracturing of the cuticle. Basically, heat is heat and there is no shying away from that, no matter what form it comes in, yes hooded dryers included. Precede with caution, always use a heat protectant, and don't neglect silicones in your routine if you like to use any heat often.
I actually thought something similar.. the reverse air/tension process allows hair to get straight without as much heat… I thought that was the whole purpose. But all I know is what I read from the conpany
She says she is a scientist. I just don't know what higher learning she received her degree and what science degree she has but she says she's a scientist just like my doctor will tell us he's a doctor and what kind of doctor he is.
@@Lorraine-td3dd A research scientist is either a Ph.D holder or an analyst for a research institute. Ask her which one she has, from which university, then come back and let us know. She’s proud of all her other credentials, so why wouldn’t she be proud of that one too?
I think they actually recommend you don't really use product with the rev air. That could be aiding in the dryness. Obviously, regardless, you wouldn't use as much product with the Rev Air vs. a regular blow dryer.
I thought about getting a rev air but the price didnt make sense to me. the natural hair stylist i go to doesnt like the rev air because it dries the hair out and the roots dont really get properly dried or laid if you want to do a silk press. She did recommend i invest in a good blow dryer but never rev air. Also i kinda side eye cyndoll now sinces shes been in a few arguments on youtube over the years that dont make her look good. IDK if her words are being twisted but its hard to take her seriously now.
The RevAir does not replace drying your hair, especially the roots. It’s recommended to use for stretching hair that is already 70% dry. It won’t dry your roots regardless of how you use it
I have never had heat damage and I blow dry once a month. Although during the winter months I use heatless methods to stretch my hair and tuck my hair away due to the cold temperatures. It all begins with your routine❤
I’ve been waiting for this 😭 I loveeee my revair but I’ve been using it so much I was wondering how much is too much. I use it weekly (on my channel) and I use the high setting but not for too long. I also make use to use protectant ! heat is heat 🫠
Nope. She did that. Rev Air did not. As you see it's dry in the video. She doesn't do proper hair care. She may just now be getting started but I can tell she is a girl that just likes to get her hair done without the CARE part of jt
I dimiss it 100%. Rev Air is revolutionary. She constantly be doing stuff to her hair. She got a bald spot too. Rev did that too. ...no. she just need to chill out
Y’all hating on cyn but my hair has been thriving, easy to maintain, retaining length, etc since I’ve found her videos. And y’all talking about her hair, she literally has a skin condition. 🙄
I had no idea that if you braid your hair the same style you could experience thinning in that area 😮. Im gonna start plaiting my hair I head it helps it grow better than braids.
We pay that same amount when getting our hair done, hair products, braids, wigs etc so why not invest in something that’s beneficial for it? Low heat, no tension, and itll allow us to keep the hair stretched without fear of heat damage.
I have invested in equipment at this price and learned to use it properly. This investment has saved my lots of money in the long run. My previously weekly salon visits cost me more than the equipment monthly.
I see nothing wrong with it! For years other races of women have indulged in prestige beauty that costs alot. Black women are becoming more educated, which leads to better jobs and opportunity to splurge on ourselves from time to time 😊
I don’t have a rev air! I felt it’s too expensive! I have plenty of other blow dryers but I always go a deep conditioning treatment and use heat serum before blow drying my hair. I have never had heat damage. I blow dry on low every time I wash my hair. TI flat iron my hair 1-3x a year.
How often do you wash your hair? Because I want to start blow drying my hair after every wash too but I don’t want to over do it. I currently wash my hair every Sunday but sometimes I get lazy and stretch it out to 2 weeks instead of just 1.
Okay I thought it was for real when I saw the title of the video but when I heard Cyndoll was who said it I know not to listen. She never knows what she's talking about ever.
The first woman been for 8 yrs and still didn’t learn from her mistakes. I don’t understand why she keep tryna blow dry it. Maybe she don’t like the shrinkage or her curl pattern but she’s not letting her hair grow enough before adding heat. For the thinning in the center of her hair, I think she don’t use a gentle hand while combing and don’t comb ends to roots. It can also be stress or she be pulling too tight when doing her twist-outs. I also think she don’t love her hair, she putting it through too much abuse, keep big chopping from damaging it smh.
I have the RevAir and fine 4c hair. It hasn’t damaged my hair at all. The heat isn’t even high enough for me to do anything but dry my hair. I only use it on damp not wet hair without any products on it. I’ve even used it to dry my mini braids while I’m in a hair challenge. Sorry for that lady her hair integrity may be compromise and susceptible to low heat damage or something.
I hope by that you mean you're using the cool setting? You should never use any type of heat without a heat protectant, even a hooded dryer. You're setting yourself up for failure...
@ oh yeah I use the L’Oréal heat slayer and that’s it. I just don’t put any of my usual oils and butters in until afterwards. So far so good but I only use it like every other month or so and I don’t have a lot of length yet.
I have never had any issues with using the RevAir. It might be that I use it every 4 to 6 months whenever I need to trim my hair. Other wise I usually let my hair air dry and style my hair in styles that last two weeks or more.
Keep in mind this video is freaking 3 years old. If this was really a phenomenon where are the recent video. Girl didn’t even explain what she did wrong 🙄. I have the rev air and it works great.
I want to say ive had my revair for 3 years now and dint have heat damage. I have used it on tension 7 with heat. The revair directions say dont use any products but I do knowing it could void the warranty. I use a rinse out loreal everpure conditioner for curly hair and that has a silicone in it. Thats my first layer of protection. Second layer would be a spray leave in conditioner i like the moroccan oil one, living proof restore perfecting leave in spray, redken anti snap leave in spray, or paul mitchell super strong leave in spray. I will never use anything heavy with a $400 blow dryer that says use it with no product. I also dont use it that often. I live in texas so the hair wont stay anyway. I just recently used it to stretch my hair so i could trim it. Please read the directions. I do have the older version so maybe the new ones days you can use heavy products with it. When i used it recently i used heat but on suction 5 and 6
@@CoffeeCuties777 Now that I think about it - I might have seen the comments on TikTok for the video you reacted to about whether the young lady had breakage or thin hair.
I don’t watch enough of the content to say I trust her expertise or not but I did want to give her video credit because that’s where I found the video I reviewed 🤎
I benefit from a lot of Cyn Dolls expertises. I think she's knowledgeable on hair. She wants her subscriber's to win with our hair. I believe that whole hardedly.
The heat is directly on your hair from the Rev Air. Also the vacuum is pulling out your hair. Thanks for making this video. I listen to Cyn Doll. Baby girl is the truth.
Exactly 💯 it doesn't matter if it's low heat or not. Your hair is being left in a closed chamber for a minute or sometimes more. So technically, it's being subjected to more heat than that of a traditional blow dryer or even a flat iron where you do a quick pass & the hair cools down. Cyn doll is the truth indeed. A lot of the women in this comment section just seem so triggered by the fact that she's against wash n gos but saying she's anti texture and questioning her credentials all because she said something they didn't like is total bs. Never once did she tell everybody to straighten their hair. All she said was to set the bond to prevent breakage & tangling.
Eh, i agree the revair is not exempt from causing heat damage but im doubtful the damage is any more than a traditional blowdryer, especially with the comb attachment. You're basically using a type of hot comb at that point to stretch the hair.
Same Lol! I’m taking her review with a grain of salt though. She has some other visible things going on with her hair. Also this is the first review I’ve seen saying it causes heat damage
I know that I wouldn’t be good with using any handheld blow dryer on my hair. I leave it to my stylist who can properly address any damage I do to my hair because I’m no professional 😂. I have no interest in the rev air.
I have to agree with Cyn Doll saying it's too much heat on your hair using the Rev Air. She said hair can whither years later from bad practices like putting our hair in a hole. She use to say it takes 6 months to 15 years for hair to wither then she said 6 months to 25 year's I don't know why science changed by 10 more year's. She's given a lot of amazing information. I just don't understand when she says she's not sensitive but will get upset when people will say things to her about hair she doesn't like she gets mad that's being sensitive. If you can dish it out and the receiver has no issue with what you say but you can't take it then that's being soft. If you can't take what a person says that's being soft. We don't get mad she does. Other than that she's on point with so many things. I hope if she happens to see our comments she doesn't get angry.
Yeah I’m not sure how she’ll feel about the comment section but I don’t police my comments even when people talk about me so I hope she will be able to take constructive criticism where it fits and throw out the rest🤎

It's y'all dragging Cyn doll for me in the comment section 😂
Dame right 😌🤘✨✨

i feel like it kinda looks bad that we have these hair crisis community issues every 6 months
Who cares about how it looks? Looks to who?
@ marketers, product creators and other bw looking for what to do about their hair
@ black women having these crisis help all of these above keep money in their pockets.
I’ve been wondering around this too. The way I see it, using heat tools, there is always a chance for damage. The revair is essentially a tension-method blow dryer.
I will say though, having heat concentrated on your hair all at once rather than constantly moving it up and down the shaft is a way to get heat damage. 😅
I agree🤎
RevAir has a cool setting though. So, it is a choice to use it at the highest heat setting.
precisely 👌
Regardless of what type of heating tool you use any of them can cause heat damage. You have to adjust the heat to medium to reduce any potential heat damage it may cause you in the future.
I agree🤎
Rev Air has a no heat setting but she got heat damage so who did it..her choices did
Rev Air has a no heat setting but she got heat damage so who did it..her choices did
10:20 a 4th big chop?
THE BALD SPOT IS PLAIN TO SEE
THAT IS NOT A PART
ALOPIECIA OR SOMETHING
I said the same thing! That is too wide and round to be a part!
I was thinking so too and was thinking that could be a part of the damage?
Ngl i don't trust cyndoll
I got heat damage from my revair because I got lazy and started using it incorrectly lol. Using it correctly shouldn’t result in damage because the temp really isn’t even that high.
Thanks for sharing so for the ones using revair can be reminded to use correctly 🤎
1. We need to do better!
2. Revair is a tool and when misused it can/will be damaging just like anything else
Thanks for sharing your positive experience since following some of Cyn’s methods 🤎
She also is not a scientist and that’s clear to anyone who has studied science…
I’m not saying revair does or does not cause heat damage with misuse, but she is not a reliable source and relying on her uncritically is a mistake.
Thanks for sharing …I haven’t watched much of her content but definitely wanted to give her credit for the video inspiration 🤎
@@CoffeeCuties777 no problem. I was subbed to her but I picked up a pattern really quick and unsubbed a while ago.
@@ViviolauMy exact experience with her channel.
Thanks for breaking this down…I have another video about heat dropping tomorrow 🤎🤎🤎
@@CoffeeCuties777💛💛💛
I've never had any problems with it. I also use it on my daughter. I wash and condition then use chi heat protector on towel dried hair then 30 to 60 seconds per sections and use small sections
“The 4th big chop” is crazy!
Yeah I agree 🤎
To me when I see an ad where the Revair is being used, the hair comes out looking stiff. Not flowing and looking blown out but like the hair would move in one stiff unit…
@@BelwillCoily Initially it comes out looking "stiff" but that's because of the direction of the air and the tension setting. It doesn't remain stiff looking and your hair is pliable for styling. It's a really good product and I haven't experienced heat damage from it.
That's one reason why I can't bring myself to buy it.
Our hair isn’t flowing…
Agreed.
@@EtherealSolanaspeak for your own hair. The only time “our” hair is stiff is when it’s dry.
I purchased my RevAir 2019,none of my clients hair received heat damage. RevAir remains customer not to use heavy products when using the Revair
It only goes up to like 220 Fahrenheit
Oh okay…I wasn’t aware because I never used one🤎
That's still alot. I think there are studies out there that say anything heat above 160F is enough to completely
1. Dehydrate the hair
Cyndoll is not a research scientist lol.
I’ve been reading that throughout the comment section lol 😂 but honestly o don’t follow her content closely enough to know much about her🤎
She says she is a scientist. I just don't know what higher learning she received her degree and what science degree she has but she says she's a scientist just like my doctor will tell us he's a doctor and what kind of doctor he is.

A research scientist is either a Ph.D holder or an analyst for a research institute. Ask her which one she has, from which university, then come back and let us know. She’s proud of all her other credentials, so why wouldn’t she be proud of that one too?
I use the RevAir and haven't had any heat damage. It's probably user error.
I agree🤎
I got mine Worth it 4 years ago. $800
I’ve been waiting for this 😭 I loveeee my revair but I’ve been using it so much I was wondering how much is too much. I use it weekly (on my channel) and I use the high setting but not for too long. I also make use to use protectant ! heat is heat 🫠
I’m going to check your channel out🤎
@ 🥰🥰 aw thank you lovey
Thanks for sharing your experience 🤎🤎🤎
My hair has been doing amazing as well. These are just a bunch of single knot layzee females mad cause she told them to blow dry and brush their hair.
I had no idea that if you braid your hair the same style you could experience thinning in that area 😮. Im gonna start plaiting my hair I head it helps it grow better than braids.
I'm still shocked that black women are actually out here paying $400+ for a dryer. SMH
We pay that same amount when getting our hair done, hair products, braids, wigs etc so why not invest in something that’s beneficial for it? Low heat, no tension, and itll allow us to keep the hair stretched without fear of heat damage.
I mean, Dyson is also around $400, to each their own…
I have invested in equipment at this price and learned to use it properly. This investment has saved my lots of money in the long run. My previously weekly salon visits cost me more than the equipment monthly.
I see nothing wrong with it! For years other races of women have indulged in prestige beauty that costs alot. Black women are becoming more educated, which leads to better jobs and opportunity to splurge on ourselves from time to time 😊
Some people are paying that for a single hairstyle.
It depends on the season during hot month I wash weekly during the winter it’s either biweekly or once a month.
Okay I thought it was for real when I saw the title of the video but when I heard Cyndoll was who said it I know not to listen. She never knows what she's talking about ever.
The original creator is the one who made the allegations but Cyn Doll was the one I saw do a video first so I wanted to give her video credit🤎
@CoffeeCuties777 Oh okay I just always make sure to avoid listening to Cyn she's been wrong so often.
It literally has a no heat setting
There are 3 heat settings: high, low, and cool.
@ I know, I own one
Thanks for clarifying as I don’t personally own one🤎
That child hair look a hot mess before revair. I had to go to her old videos.
Noooooo I just got a RevAir! Don’t tell me this please 😭
Its okay… there’s different heat settings
Keep in mind this video is freaking 3 years old. If this was really a phenomenon where are the recent video. Girl didn’t even explain what she did wrong 🙄. I have the rev air and it works great.
It was probably just user error that caused it. I wouldn't worry too much as long as you use it as instructed and don't overuse it.
Same!! $315 Black Friday sale.
When i used it recently i used heat but on suction 5 and 6
You can use light products with some oils with the new revair
I've seen comments on other videos saying that they experienced breakage using the blow drying brushes. 🤷♀️

I love air drying my hair
@Arielle_C93 truth Comment point
I literally just mines in the mail 😂 lord
It doesn’t cause heat damage. Just use a decent heat protectant and don’t layer creams/leave ins before using it. ❤❤ and use it on damp, not wet hair.
Same Lol! I’m taking her review with a grain of salt though. She has some other visible things going on with her hair. Also this is the first review I’ve seen saying it causes heat damage

I don’t think RevAir is good for fine hair.
