I was interested in the design. 3.3 D test driven. Wow, you have to test drive the vehicle if you're even a little bit interested in the car. actually thought of a BMW X3, but now it will be the CX60 3.3 254 AWD
I have a BMW X3 with the 3litre diesel, this Mazda will have to be good to beat the BMW,it’s very quick and the fuel consumption is miserly, mine has done 130,000 miles so it’s proven itself over the time I’ve had it,time will tell how good this Mazda engine is,until it has I will stick with what I’ve got,I’ve seen these BM engines do over 300,000 miles let’s see if the Mazda can beat that,if it can I’m interested.
Bros in the comments are comparing BMW and Mazda. I'm not gonna be mean so I'm gonna say this. If you want a car that will go unnecessarily fast then yes you can go ahead and buy a BMW that's double the price of the Mazda with the same specs. On the other hand if you want a car with proven quality, reliability and a car that will last longer than you then just go ahead and buy the Mazda.
I got my cx60 2024 model (3.3L e-skyactiv G version) last week here in Dubai UAE. So far I’m extremely happy with the car. The transmission is so smooth, absolutely nothing abnormal noted so far. The car is very comfortable and the engine noise is just amazing! Face recognition and safety e features (lane assistance and dynamic cruze control) are some of the high technology features in this car in my view. I’m wondering the issues listed here doesn’t apply to my model (ps: mine is the mild hybrid version).
mazda has a very good reliability rating. It's a big 3.3 engine with modest hp (254hp), so it's a very relaxed engine and it should be reliable. As for the transmission, Mazda limits the power in the first 2 gears which is why 0-100km/h is in 7.4s according to Mazda (7s in reality).
The car is woeful - I own it and would swap it for a ford kuga tomorrow - owned the car for 60 days and it's broken down 5 times - nothing works - cheap nasty poorly build unreliable car
@@davemathieson7565 I've read your comments on the Mazda forum and you are the only one that constantly complains about the car. Maybe you are unlucky and got a bad car, but that doesn't mean CX-60 is a bad car or is as bad as you say. Only a few people have had issues with the car.
It is disasterous that we speak about 3 liter 6 cylinder diesel engine as something special in 2024. 10 years ago there was so many 3 liter diesel engines from BMW, MB, Audi with similar consumption but mich better performance. This car is great and engine is also nuce, but we should have engines with over 300 hp as a standard when speaking about 6 cylinder engins
This is the reality of the downsizing campaign and the incomplete directives to reduce CO2 and other harmful gasses. Of course manufacturers will try to game the system and get those numbers lower in specific conditions with smaller engines. Who cares if they drink fuel in the real world, pollute and break down more, eh? Having said that, Mazda has shown how it's possible to create a larger engine with plenty of torque and power, very impressive fuel economy and meeting EURO emission standards.
@Pit-Stop poverty and wars are more harmful, but nobody is trying to solve these problems. Car emissions are irrelevant, not important and insignificant. Scientifically proved
We bought a CX-60, and it has been a terrible experience. We’ve had problems every day. In just six months, we’ve had to bring it in for recalls and software resets five times. The value has already dropped by $10,000. Please don’t buy the CX-60. My wife spoke to the General Sales Manager, Robert, Mt Gravatt but there was no resolution. He was polite, but nothing was accomplished.

They need to update the mazda 6 with this engine
Definitely, we need a new Mazda 6 with that engine, and we also need to add a gasoline I6. I think that would be a great success for Mazda! 😁🦉
A new Mazda 6 with this engine and, perhaps, the looks they showed of the concepts a few years ago, would be an absolutely amazing car.
looks good
As kia and Hyundai are dropping their turbo diesels, Mazda is the only sensible option.
hyundai no longer offer their 2.2 turbodiesel?
Doesn't having so much covering on the engine negatively affect its cooling quality?
It's a diesel, usually they need extra heating elements even to reach operating temperature
Pretty car
Hello & gweetings from Z Republic of Cebu
Nissan patrol y61 is looking for a diesel engine this one will suit the car L6
hybrid system with turbo charged engine and new 8 speed transmission. there are many ways to get issues on this new car.
as long as the warranty is atleast 5 years...
like what? stop creating shit that will never exist

My 15 year old BMW 3.0D has 235 HP & 500 NM Torque. This Mazda engine doesn't seem to be that much better after 15 years ?
This engine has been designed around thermal efficiency and lower emissions.
