Arizona's HIDDEN GEM! Chiricahua National Monument (2023)

- In this episode we check out Chiricahua National Monument in southern Arizona. It's about 2 hours outside of Tucson but worth the drive! This place has the coolest geological rock formations I have ever seen. Wildlife is abundant here including the Coatimundi which I had the privilege of filming up close. The Echo Trail Loop here is one of the best hikes ever with the ability to go in between the rocks in a canyon like environment. Hope you enjoyed the video!

Love your editing and how you provide so many beautiful images while also telling us about the background of the area. I can’t wait to see more videos!!!
Thank you so much!
Interesting place!! Bucket list now.
Amazing video! I always hate seeing channels putting out such high quality, high effort videos that clearly took a ton of love and effort to produce, and only getting a few hundred views and subscribers for it. Both of your videos are fantastic, and I hope the low view counts haven't totally discouraged you from continuing to create. I would love to see more from you, especially from my home state of AZ! Happy travels!
A lot of good info. Thanks! My wife and I are seniors, and we planned on visiting this park in March, 2020 until the pandemic started. We are now in our 70s, so the 10 mile loop is out of the question. I believe that we can still do the Echo Loop trail thanks to your video.
Very cool - thanks for posting. I am spending the wintere in Arizona in my RV, and will head home to Canada in a few months. I may have to revisit Chiricahua on my way home.
Great video! Love your style.
Thank You!
Never heard of this place either. Wild. Thanks for sharing!

I’ve been there. So amazing. I want to go back. ❤❤❤
Nice work! I'm visiting Chiricahua this October and just found your channel. You did a great job with filming and editing. It really captures how cool this place looks.
Thank you for this video. Very informative. i will visit it soon. Keep up the great work.
I lived in Tucson for 12yrs and never even heard of this place. On my last trip back to Tucson, I went...WOW...I love this place. Kinda bitter I never knew about it all those years living there haha.
Great video! Where was the camp spot at the intro of this video?
PB&J is my favorite hiking snack too!
New subscriber! Just went to the monument a few days ago! Did the echo loop trail. Man it was beautiful!! Love that your informative and you show the beauty of it at the same time. Can't wait to see more of your adventures!!
Road dirt bikes all over that area. For forty years can't wait to see it again
I live down here, it’s always super funny to see people’s reactions when you take them there, no one expects a forest and alien like stone structures when everything around it is mountain valleys with very little green. Cool to see this in a video!
Chiricahua national monument is one of my favorite places to visit here in Arizona. And you did a hell of a job highlighting it! I really enjoyed your editing and overall positive vibe. I'll gladly subscribe to your channel!
Heading there in early fall was concerned about the 8 miler for we 70 year olds. Understand a tough last mile finish. Nice to know we can cut off into a 4 mile loop. Thanks for pointing that out.
Killed it Henry! Super excited to see more from you, love the style you got going on
Thanks bro! I’m learning a lot as I go so hopefully I can keep getting better
Love your style and presentation. I've been over much of the southwest, but I didn't know that place existed. Beautiful sky island. Thanks for the tour! That thing about simple food, spot on. I had corn tortillas, cheese and salami, on a hike in the Rincon mountains... I can still taste it, almost forty years later. Tepid water is so amazing when you're hot and thirsty too.
Thank you! And yeah I had to look at that sandwich twice to make sure I wasn’t going crazy 😂
Them balanced rocks are done by Interdimensional Sasquatch, throw them a peace sign✌
Amazing! I love my state❤🧡💙
You are lucky to call it home!
Henry, fantastic stuff, mate.
I like your view that as the wind blows, the place is changing, ever so slowly. I thought the same thing in Carlsbad Caverns when I listened to the drip drip drip of water onto a 50 ft tall stalagmite or whatever it’s called
Get camera work on this! Me & my wife were just talking about this place haven’t seen or heard much about it but after watching this I definitely have to get there.
100% you have to. I tried to do it justice but as you know it’s even crazier in person. this place is awesome.
Great sense of humor, very informative, and definitely kept me engaged. Love it!!!
Thank you so much!
Thanks for sharing!
My buddy and I were planning to backpack in the Gila Wilderness and got dumped on by rain before we could get out of the vehicle. So we went back to Silver City and headed west.
We spotted the Chiricahua off I-10, saw a road headed across the desert, and took it. We stayed at a great campsite high in the mountains, car camped, day hiked, saw nobody, and had a great completely unplanned adventure. Can’t beat it!
Love it. I have liked and subscribed.
Thanks Selena I’m glad you liked it!
I want to go there! Looks beautiful!
You should! It’s such an interactive place

Excited to see your videos! Love to see another person of color making great outdoor adventure content!
Super cool adventure! Thanks for sharing your experiences.
Glad you enjoyed it!
The Earth is not millions of years old. I suspect that Noah's flood created all these rock formations.
