That video provides a great view of what those farm machines can do. Always neat to see what goes on in agriculture and cattle raising. Thanks for the insight Rod. Keep those great videos coming.
Hi col. retired chief gunner here,,, still waiting for snow to melt and ground to thaw,, going to put Timmy grass,, corn this season,, using a international 906 and 11row planter for the hay,, 7 row for the corn. Have yourself a good season 😊
Great shots of the farm and the cattle, Rod! So thankful that we will have these videos to look back on-3 generations working together is a very special thing!
Yes! If future generations are interested in how we did things "back then", they will be able to look at these videos. This is one of the main reasons I'm doing this.
It's really cool seeing you guys working together without really saying much to each other. John did a pretty good job helping. Punching the camera too hard at the end made me spit out my coffee when you said not that hard😆 Glad to hear planting is underway. As always thanks for bringing us along and taking the time to create these.
@@ohioflyingfarmer7050 hey hold the deal. I reallly enjoy you and the farm/ranch videos that you put out. But if you re read your words you sort of pounded us ol boys here in florida. So if you want go back and look at your wording and maybe you will see where i was coming from. I mostly wanted to see what you wrote was sort of a slam against us ol country boys here in florida. Granted mostly yankees here now but we still know what a cow is. Also if you. Go back and re-read what I wrote no one Sid any thing about 65 or 650 acres. I clearly stated 65,000 acres. And 65,000 acres is what i mean. Like your vids also respect your military. Time annd meant no disrespect to you or y’all’s cattle operation. I also served in the military 101st airborne.. Hope we got this straightened out. Enjoy you and your vids,,
@@bunkhindman3241 no sir you had a decimal point and not a comma. Not sure why you’re getting riled up. Hope you enjoy his videos like we do. To be quite honest I thought you were feeding cattle out on 65 acres. Lol! Please enjoy his videos as we do. Thank you sir . Hope your day goes better.
It's all good man! I wasn't trying to "pound" anyone. I said that my brother in law had no idea about farming, not Floridians in general. I'm sure there are many good ol boys in Florida that know more about cattle than I do! As far as your numbers go, commas can be important. Thank you for your service and I'm glad you enjoy the videos. Grab a cold beer and RELAX! 👊🏼'Merica
Best video ever! Cattle are beautiful and you are all hard workers. Special thanks to Ryan and John!!Yay Jones team. 🥰🥰
Thanks Mom!
I love your channel. I was a boom operator in the early 80’s. I also watch a lot of farm channels. Best of both worlds ❤
Heck yeah!
Thanks for your service!
Love the cattle running down the black top!
Fun with the farmer brother-law. Loved it.
We enjoyed having him.
I told him he is a certified cowboy now and that we'll be expecting him to be around next time we work cattle
I think I know what it's like to be an addict, I'm addicted to your video's. Great job
Thanks again "OG" Joe!

Watched a vid this week of a beef cattle farmer using the calf catcher like yours
Was it Sonne farms by chance?
@@ohioflyingfarmer7050 it was indeed. They didn’t get to use theirs much until late in calving

Hell yeah! 👊🏼
Ohhhhh Johnny Boy, Ohhhh Johnny Boy
Haha!
What’s the brown stuff that is sticking to your boots? We haven’t seen mud in awhile. Best day of spring is the day the pairs go on grass
Yep! Seeing the pairs walk away is a beautiful thing for multiple reasons!
Head em up move em out
Hey what the hell, there is more cattle in florida than where you are. I grew up on my uncles ranch, 65.000 acres. 1000 or more cattle.
What's your point
1000 head of cattle is a lot for 65 acres.
