Not sure if you enjoy historical fiction but Kristen Hannah has great books. I’m reading the four winds about the dust bowl and it’s heart wrenching but really good. I go back and forth with the actual book and audio played on TH-cam bc of life haha. I’d also look into Sandra Dallas. Her book “the last midwife” is good and a little suspenseful. Hers are set in the 1800s a lot of times and she has a few children’s chapter books also. Kristen Hannah has the nightingale and most recently the woman that everyone raves about. Those are on my shelf waiting for me haha.
Have you read animal farm or 1984? Definitely do especially since animal farm is a year 6 book I believe in AO!

I just got 1984 from Thriftbooks actually! I'm reading it this year in a book club! 😍 exciting about both of those and I'm going to look up Kristen Hannah! Thank you, I prefer to go off a recommendation for a book! 🙌🏻❤️

I am mixed, I really like the Mark of the Lion trilogy. Most of her more current titles I have liked but not loved. Some of my 5 star fiction recommendations: Hannah Coulter by Wendell Berry, A Man Called Ove, The Inspector Gamache mystery series by Louise Penny (they hit their stride around book 4), The War that Saved my Life (middle grade), Where the Crawdads Sing, The Help. I really like Kristin Hannah as well. I am reading her new release, The Women, right now. Goodreads is great for tracking what you are reading and seeing what friends are reading. It’s my favorite social media!
