      Man, it's crazy how even these TH-cam videos can improve you. I've only watched four or five videos today, and tried along with him, and I'm already feeling more in control. I used to belt, but my voice would strain and get tired very quickly, and I was worried about damaging my vocal chords permanently. So I started searching for mix voice techniques, but so far, nothing really helped. Tyler's videos tell you exactly what to do and how to do. I'm sure taking up singing lessons with him will be even better.

    I watched five videos back to back, and tried the tricks and tips you provided, and I'm already doing it better. Damn. You're good. I always had confusion regarding what's mix, and how to mix, but never found any explanation. Your videos explain everything I needed. I used to belt, but my voice used to get strained in about an hour. I was worried I might hurt my vocal chords permanently. I started searching how to mix. I tried many techniques, but I never felt in control. Now finally, I think I know what to do.
    I can't thank you enough for the videos you're putting out.

    Those tips actually made me feel something different in my voice. I have just tried them but definitely I have still a lot to learn. But that's awesome. Thanks man. It is good to find someone who has a imagination and ability to describe the "sensations" in ours voices.

    This video gave me a light bulb moment. I'm gonna use this video for my vocal warm ups for a little while. Real life speech examples are often very helpful for me with singing lessons. I've got that belted chesty mix, but I need to work on the more balanced, little bit lighter mix so I have more freedom above around B4. Also so I can use it for vocal budgeting throughout a night, sometimes my voice gets pretty tired by the end of a set or two

    Hi Tyler I'm a high tenor. I'm 21 years old but my comfortable speaking voice sits around G3-E4. I notice that if I subtract chest ratios from G4 up to C5 I lose power and support , but if I try pulling my chest that high I lose flexibility and it becomes difficult for me to go higher or lower. How could I find an "in between" coordination for my passagio?

    hi Tyler, can you make a video about lowering head voice into chest voice range and how this relates to mix? I've heard it can add lightness and flexibility in the lower range which allows for a freer access in mix voice.

    Hi there! Just wanna say your tips are super clear and amazing, they really work for me and I know how important it is to find a language to explain all those abstract things :) thank you! I am currently struggling trying to sing smoothly sounds F to G#, I'm guessing my mix voice is too weak cause there's a break usually somewhere between F#/G and it's particularly hard going down the scale 🙄 it's frustrating,any tips for strengthening mix voice and for eliminating that break between chest/mix?

    Hey Tyler! I'm a former professional choral singer in Chicago who ran into vocal trouble and hasn't really been singing the last few years. I think there are some technique issues I never conquered even when I was singing at my best. Anyway, I guess none of that is important, but I'm saying it all anyway lol. I'm trying to get back into singing and I've purchased your mix voice masterclass. How much of the material should I practice every day? Should I do all 4 workouts every day? One a day?

    • @tylerwysong
      @tylerwysong  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks so much for purchasing the course! I would start with One workout a day. If tht feels good then you can do two. I think two a day is plenty. Also Mix Workout one is always a safe bet for just making your voice feel really good!

    I agree that is better to mix but honestly there are certain male singers who mix too much towards the head and they do not sound so nice. To me heady mix fits better on a female voice or to Countertenors who already have that strong heady sound by nature.
