Oh man, you are a genius in your ability to send the right message to a listener, I even feel light in my head every time you highlight these points I had been moving around and had not seen
Do not change shape cause it causes yelling! Many years I’ve been mislead to the thought I need to open it more and more!
Such a pleasure to listen to you!
    I’ll watch every video
I’ll finally sing, I’m sure now!

Your videos are gold :) it looks easy when you do it. When I try this, keeping the vowels shapes I feel some pressure wants to add when I go higher and I struggle xD

Durante mucho tiempo estuve buscando una respuesta a la forma de emisión de las vocales. Tu video es una excelente propuesta para este tema. Contiene además las razones que fundamentan la propuesta de una forma estable de emisión. Felicitaciones y muchas gracias, Tyler. M e he suscrito a tu canal.

You’re so right about not changing and manipulating anything, actually it is like screaming naturally, making high note is actually human nature.

I replied your comment on the other video just now.. Talking about reaching c#5 with mix.. What i didnt mention is i can do it easily (easier than before, i only can reach G4 before with mix) but i get tired easily too.. No strain, just tired.. (i know something is wrong) but this vid already gave me the aswer that i want.. My bad habit is, the higher the wider i open my mouth.. Thats why im easily gettin tired.. AGAIN, Thanks alot! 😭
U r the best coach for mix n highnotes.. Easy to understand ❤️
*sorry for my bad grammar 😭

Your videos and teaching is legitimately some of the best teaching of any type of knowledge I've ever experienced. I've been singing for 6 years 2 middle school 4 high school and my high school teacher was great he was a good teacher but he didnt really teach too in depth he mainly chose warm ups that would give us certain feelings and told us how to use those feelings in the muscles to change our singing. I had been using the change in muscles and feelings unconsciously knowing how they can change my singing but never truly understood them or what specifically they are or how to use them even better. Thank you

I'm also thinking about this from the last few days, about how you we position our mouth especially in our choir singing we definitely need this same position to achieve the same placement

  • @kralvltavin9173

I learn voice primarily from Victoria Rapanan but I think you've also got some ways of explaining certain aspects of singing that I get a bit better.
This video really helped me keep the notes more stable. I understood this to be summed up as literally "holding the note". Freeze the position of the omboucher and larynx. Not tense, but to completely carry the note.

I like that you focus on one Topic (Mixed Voice) on your channel. It's really helpful and understandable for intermediate Singers who already mastered things like pitch and Breathsupport. Many clever and true quotes in this video.

interestingly, my natural tendency was to keep my mouth static and not so open, i guess because of low confidence. but many of the vocal coaches instruct people to open their mouth vertically or smile, so i followed it, and it tend to work in allowing me to go higher with less strain.... now you advice me to go back to neutral :x
this hold the sternum trick is amazing! i got from G2 to C2 only by holding the sternum down! where can i see more about how it works?

Great video Tyler. I was just wandering yesterday when you would upload a new one and here you are again! I guess this is about letting the acoustics of the vowel take care of itself when changing registers right? It feels so good!. One question I have and will appreciate your comment is this. At around 9:20 you mention relaxing the upper sternum a bit, in order to reposition larynx height. Although this is so effective ,I wander if this is in contradiction to the "noble posture", (high and comfortable sternum), desired for vocal tract free functioning.

    • @tylerwysong
      @tylerwysong  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Yes absolutely just allowing the acoustics to passively migrate. I don't want you to relax the sternum and or drop the chest but just pull downward on the skin slightly. I hope that makes sense.

Hi Tyler. In trying to get my head around changing / adjusting my falsetto into mixed voice (I generally sing classical music) I think this video might have done the trick! Thanks.

  • @juliusreade6647

I have a very strong mixed voice and can sing most rock stuff in that area. What I don’t seem to have is any kind of head voice. If I try to sing something light and high, no sound comes out. I would love to learn how to develop my head voice for lighter pop songs :/

  • @samizaidi8714

Sir I have an issue. A few months ago I used to practice falsetto...i did get a little bit better at it but now whenever i try to sing high notes sometimes my voice just turns into falsetto(or cracks). Or maybe it's just the break between my chest and mixed voice i don't understand. I couldn't help it. Sir, Please tell me what to do.

  • @clarkjadetelewik
