    Video description / background:
Snow sharks are mean creatures of the vast, white open fields of powder we all love so much... They get you - sooner or later!
But rock damage on your snowboard edges can be fixed or at the very least improved with a few little steps. All you need is a coarse diamond stone or an aluminum oxide stone, some water, a rag and this video!

When I was an instructor I carried a diamond stone with me every day. I used it on my at the start with new clients almost every time unless their gear was new. Even though I was pretty good at knowing where the rocks were and avoiding them I kept my own edges in great condition by just using it every time I got a burr.

Hey Lars, just discovered your channel. Super helpful and informative - thanks so much for all your help! I wanted to ask your thoughts on using infrared lamps for applying wax to a board?

Never done that. But heard great things about it. Wouldn’t know why that could be a bad idea.

It's a Shorty from 2022. The last year that the model came with a structure. Since it's predominantly meant to be a pow board, Stranda aren't doing structure on those anymore. In cold snow there's no real benefit to a structure from what I understand...
Cheater and Pipeliner still have it.
