- The clarinets of The United States Army Field Band have joined forces to present a clarinet ensemble featuring Staff Sgt. Erik Franklin's arrangement of Till Eulenspiegels lustige Streiche by Richard Strauss.

No. I think they do have to go through basic training like every other member of the Army - but after basic training they don't handle a gun or get muddy again.
