A fun detail about Reigen's whole con artistry is that pretty much almost all of his clients are satisfied with his services, even if he doesn't use psychic means to do so. Reigen kinda just gives them what they really need which is a wake-up call or just a massage. And progressing through the seasons, the Scar Members don't have their scars that Suzuki inflicted upon them. I think they were seen as like the scars of the organization but it's really nice that these scars healed and they're doing moving forward just fine.
Koyama and glasses 7th division guy. They started at a convenience store that was destroyed but. Most everyone in the series has a happy ending, which I like once in awhile.
i honestly cheered about mob getting rejected at the end, as its the outcome i was hoping for. him getting rejected feels like it had to happen for the message to really land, because it shows that, even if you didnt get exactly what you wanted, that does not make all the experiences youve went throw, friends youve made and things youve learned meaningless, and its ok to not always be able to get what you want
The best thing about this manga/ anime is subverting the stereotype "MC joins chill clubs"-tropes we've seen so many times in Slice of Life genre. Instead of joining Occult Club and being a lazy bum, Mob actually joins that muscle exercise club and actually tries to better himself instead of self-indulging himself in one of those lazy clubs
11:26 I watched season 2 from start to finish, every week as it came out. This moment had me crying. Same with the moment in episode 1 of season 2, with Mob picking up Emi's writing. Truly an amazing show, Reigen is one of the best characters ever.
arataka reigen beats the fraud allegations, hes sucha well written character and i love how this show handles redemptions with some being seen on camera while others being self explanatory so they dont need any exposition for us to know
I love the idea that Reigen never needed Psychic powers to be a genuinely helpful fake psychic. Most of Reigen's clients were just gullible superstitious people who weren't even having real supernatural problems, but those kind of people would never be convinced otherwise and would never go to anyone other than a psychic to solve it. The real psychics in Mob Psycho would never ever waste their time giving ordinary people massages or giving them love advice, they'd just tell them it's not a ghost and turn them away, never actually solving their problem and never convincing them of this fact. Reigen is genuinely helping people solve problems no one else will even hear them out on, even if it's something small, it can mean so much to someone else to have someone actually care about what they're going through and fix it for them, even if they got the cause completely wrong. Mob was only ever there in the first place in case someone with real supernatural problems showed up.
Just a little tidbit. Budget is rarely the deciding factor for production quality. Its management. Good forward thinking direction and a highly expressive simple artstyle ontop of the joy of artists is what made mob good. They even had to scale back for season 1 and 2, notice the lack of the iconic glass painted stuff. But its hard to notice because the planning was perfect
first made in abyss, now mob psycho, you're just running through all of my favorite animes and i love it so much. keep it up man...... i freaking love this
Prior to possessing the leader of the body improvement club, dimple does possess that one overweight guy and crushes his ankle doing a basic movement lol
There's a detail in Mob that I absolute love. Whenever Mob is looking or talking about Tsubomi she looks different, more like a stereotypical anime girl with massive sparkly eyes. It shows us how Mob sees her and why he is so attracted to her. 11/10 series on skibidi 🔥
I really love how the anime staff worked with Tsubomi's design! In the manga, she has always looked like the "reveal" in S3 and when the anime came out a lot of people were disappointed (myself included). The manga was still ongoing when the anime was released and the anime staff didn't even know if they were going to have a season 2. (The opening of each season with the ghosts? Early interviews revealed that the director meant to allude it to Mogami arc, but obviously changed explanations once season 2 was greenlit.) The fact that they were able to pivot to really hammer down the point that we've only ever seen Tsubomi as Mob's idealized version and revealed what she actually looked like based on the original manga design was *chef's kiss* It shows how amazing the staff were with handling the story and building from previous seasons.
incredible video, think you should've sold non-viewers in the beginning more but you helped me realise what i loved about the series the most, thank you
when s3 came out it literally changed my life and encouraged me to improve my mental health and change for the better, props to you for the amount of thought you put into this vid!
Thanks for the amazing analysis, humanising the characters and unpacking what makes this anime stand out from the rest. Love your anime breakdowns so far
absolutely phenomenal editing, i WILL be watching the videos you come out with and the ones you’ve already posted. i think you’re going to be one of the channels i’m dedicated to for a longggg time. keep it up man !!!!!
I love mp100. Reigens character arc is my personal favorite. This video is incredibly well edited and its very entertaining! I would love to hear more about your thoughts in other anime series, in conclusion, I subscribed.
I’ve been wandering around for a new anime to watch, thank you for the video I’m genuinely interested in watching the show. I hope you find a lot of success with your videos man!
What I like about Suzuki Touichirou is his place in the morality of MP100. He's like pre-Mob Teru, except he grew up without learning his lesson and also WAY worse. And his character arc proves that it's never too late to learn and try to be better, no matter how old you are and what you've done. He didn't have a tragic history and he had a good relationship that he ruined all on his own due to his ego and selfishness. But no one is irredeemable in MP100 (except for arguably some members of Claw who either "died" or just kinda vanished like Shimazaki) and there's always a chance to try to do and be better. And while the conclusion of his story may not satisfy everyone, I quite like the lesson to learn from it. It's that doing better isn't one big grand gesture (him sacrificing himself), but making steps to repair the damage and stick to becomimg better (staying with Shou to really try to mend what he's done to his family). I don't think it's perfect (much like the conclusion to Ritsu's arc) but there's a lot you can take from various aspects and characters of MP100. I love that ☺️
great points, and yeah i love how its not perfect because it wouldnt make sense at all if everything resolved itself in sucha short span of time and we'd have ourselves a real talk no jutsu situation
Yh i think this my new channel to get good anime recomendations and after watching them listening to the opinion of some random dude with really good editing and style. Keep it up these videos are of insanely good quality and have amzing input
Mob Psycho is truly a show that goes waay beyond just shounen its one of my all-time favorite series and teahces you alot of life lessons. I have it up there with alot of really big anime and is easily a top 5 anime for me so im glad that people are still making videos on it with it being finished. this was a really good video looking forward to your future videos and watching you grow!! 🔥
Season 2 episode 5 felt like a movie despite it being 24 mins .The cinematography, the dark colour palette, those black lines on the top and bottom, seeing mob be victim to the dark part of society and his response to it all felt so complete and satisfactory and lastly the animation was freaking perfect just perfect. Also mob using 100% as a result of positive emotions felt like a 360 from what mogami tried to teach him.Everything about this episode was *chef's kiss* 10000/10 for me
Hi, it has absolutely nothing to do with the video, but the Mystic Messenger music at the beginning caught me super off guard LMAO. But hey! Mob Psycho is also one of my favourite animes, I have nothing else to add lol Great job :)
12:46 Just wanted to give my opinion on this, While I think the anime's direction was better as its not a realistic depiction I dont think the manga version makes them unredeemable. I have been stabbed and had a very large gang in a city I live near threaten me and come after me, the main person who did this was around 18 at the time, myself being 15 when it happened. What he did was inexcusable but no unredeemable, His life was shit and though he put me through many things and attempted to kill me he actually eventually apologised, Which was a suprise to me. This guy had a very big ego and put me through months of death threats, attacks and attempted to extort me however he had also been living in what was essentially a cr*ck house since he was 12, he had been kicked out of every school and his father was in prison, his mum never around. what he did was wrong and he isnt a particularly good person but he had never really known much else. Yet after months he apologised and felt genuinely bad, he was alone for the christmas so I went and hungout with him and several years later we are still friends, not seeing each other much but occasionally we talk. Life keeps going wether your a good person or not and even if u cant undo the bad things u did change is still possible. Im in college now and hes trying to get clean from a close to a decade long coc*ine add*ction. He redeemed himself and I harbour no hatred towards him, Not because he completely changed or became some saint but because he put his hands up and acknowledged his mistake when doing so didnt benefit him in anyway. anyway sorry for the yap sesh just wanted to tell that story because I think so many characters in mob psycho redeem themselves even after being awful people.
Back w another banger I see 🙌🏾. I love mob 100 and how at the end his subconscious wasn't a monster but just another aspect of him that he learns to accept 👏🏾
These vids Are really great, just came from The made in abyss video and just wanna say ur doing so well and ur definitly gonna grow. We can feel The love put in The videos so just keep going :D
Mob psycho is that anime I assumed was just not for me the first time I watched an small portion on CN, years later gave it a shot and boy it's so good
3:32 is that the Mystic Messenger OST? Unhinged game but a very good and fitting choice for background music lol Also came from your newest Madoka video. It's easy to see you put a lot of work into your videos, and your editing style is fun to watch. You're definitely getting my sub.
Love it when Mob got rejected. It just shows that even if we, the viewers know Mob likes her a lot and is kindhearted, the girl he liked doesn't know that. It just shows that even if you went through pretty much everything just to get accepted, you won't have it unless you show it to them. It isn't forced, since they became friends first.
This is your SECOND video?? What?!?! Oh man I'm subscribing right now. This is some polish and quality I don't see in a lot of early youtubers. I can't imagine how much prep went into a channel that started off running so fast. And great analysis bro. Mob Psycho is one of those shows that moves me no matter what mood I'm in. As you said, it teaches you how to live. It changed how I view a lot of things in myself, especially my strengths and weaknesses. I'm still proud of the things I'm good at, but this show made me ask for the first time: who would I be if those things were gone? This show makes me want to try every day. Thanks for sharing what you love about it man. Edit: not the censored feet haha!
Guys! I found a real smurf youtuber irl! (SenHyaku don't see this the wrong way I mean this as a compliment considering the quality of the video and seeing the sub count... I hope you move furthur because this is such a masterpiece)

OKAYYY I SEE U WITH THE BIG BRAINS
Koyama and glasses 7th division guy. They started at a convenience store that was destroyed but. Most everyone in the series has a happy ending, which I like once in awhile.
I mean, it’s not realistic since scars just don’t heal, but ofc I get what you’re saying.
i honestly cheered about mob getting rejected at the end, as its the outcome i was hoping for. him getting rejected feels like it had to happen for the message to really land, because it shows that, even if you didnt get exactly what you wanted, that does not make all the experiences youve went throw, friends youve made and things youve learned meaningless, and its ok to not always be able to get what you want
And he and Tsubomi have been chatting more, so my boy Mob still has a shot
Tsubomi is a real one for basically sitting and watching the damn apocalypse in front of her but still chilling until mob showed up lol.
and she still rejected him
The best thing about this manga/ anime is subverting the stereotype "MC joins chill clubs"-tropes we've seen so many times in Slice of Life genre.
Instead of joining Occult Club and being a lazy bum, Mob actually joins that muscle exercise club and actually tries to better himself instead of self-indulging himself in one of those lazy clubs
I started lifting because of the Body Improvement Club lmao

i love how the bar is THAT low now 😭
A little too low@@senhyaku
This is your second video? Such professional quality already, I love it.
Prior to possessing the leader of the body improvement club, dimple does possess that one overweight guy and crushes his ankle doing a basic movement lol
Shocked to hear this is your second video. I was ready to binge.
This is such a high quality, in-depth video essay it's an absolute crime this channel has less than 100k subs D:
There's a detail in Mob that I absolute love. Whenever Mob is looking or talking about Tsubomi she looks different, more like a stereotypical anime girl with massive sparkly eyes. It shows us how Mob sees her and why he is so attracted to her. 11/10 series on skibidi 🔥

the way you narrate is so relaxing, perfect video to have on the background when drawing lmao
I thought this was your standard 100k+ subs channel until I saw the subcount, impressive editing!
incredible video, think you should've sold non-viewers in the beginning more but you helped me realise what i loved about the series the most, thank you
I love mob. When the body improvement club came to help him at the end really hit me in the feels
With only 3 videos so far, it’s already such great quality. Great job!
when s3 came out it literally changed my life and encouraged me to improve my mental health and change for the better, props to you for the amount of thought you put into this vid!

Amazing vid dude, was surprised seeing that you only have a couple hundred subs, your production quality is great
Made In Abyss and Mob Psycho back to back? You have some of the best taste I've ever seen. Keep it up
What do you mean your second video my dude. You absolutely killed it.
I'm looking forward to enjoying more of your content.
Yay! Another commentary channel who talks about anime! Not complaing or anything, actaully the opposite. I cant stop myself from watching these.

I love mp100. Reigens character arc is my personal favorite. This video is incredibly well edited and its very entertaining! I would love to hear more about your thoughts in other anime series, in conclusion, I subscribed.

Mob psycho 100 is my favorite anime as an adult.
My favorite part of Dragon Ball was when Frieza killed Krillin and Goku was like, "He was a lame anyway," and just walked away.
Mob Pyscho was amazing😮💨🔥
I’d love it if you did a video essay about fullmetal alchemist!! Your videos are extremely well made ❤
3:32 is that the Mystic Messenger OST? Unhinged game but a very good and fitting choice for background music lol
Also came from your newest Madoka video. It's easy to see you put a lot of work into your videos, and your editing style is fun to watch. You're definitely getting my sub.

Amazing vid and criminally underrated
Damn great vid
the deep stone crypt music lmao great vid
i may or may not be an ex destiny addict…😀
This is your SECOND video?? What?!?! Oh man I'm subscribing right now. This is some polish and quality I don't see in a lot of early youtubers. I can't imagine how much prep went into a channel that started off running so fast.

Thanks for sharing what you love about it man.
Edit: not the censored feet haha!
reigen feet pics are NOT free! and i def feel this, mp100 really does change how you see the world
Just found your first video, and already another one
I don't understand where the anti-shonen comes in when shonen is a demographic, not a genre, and the video never really touches on it anyway
for your second video, this shit is great, great vid
Holy shit brother where did you come from! You're producing some good shit here
i see mob i click
but also i got kinda jumpscared by mystic messenger music in the bg lol
Fantastic choice with Deep Stone Lullaby
“Middle aged man” he’s not even 30💀💀.
Great video keep going.
Pretty good video👍👍
Would you ever make a jujutsu Kaisen video? I loved this video and it actually made me understand why I loved Mob Psycho so much!
Guys! I found a real smurf youtuber irl!
(SenHyaku don't see this the wrong way I mean this as a compliment considering the quality of the video and seeing the sub count... I hope you move furthur because this is such a masterpiece)
you caught me 🖐🤓🖐
the feet censorship 🤣
New sub. Both your videos are great, keep it up!
If you'd like to come onto the podcast as guest, I'd love to talk with you more about various anime.
I really like your vids hope I can make vids like uou
Psychic powers are temporary, lifting with the boys is forever
Fr tho
the homies are so great, I wish I had friends like that
anyone know what happened to ryo? they kinda were, like, "oh yeah he's like the second strongest esper ever" and then he dipped and never came back
I like that Reigen is basically Usopp in the modern world.
Sorry Mob. No victorious getting the girl for you no matter how much you did your best. I can relate to your pain. It’s not a privilege for everyone.
3:32 That song....
I know what you are.
I have no idea what you're talking about.
Taste in anime? Immaculate. Taste in men? ...😔
