Not gonna lie, I'm obsessed with that apple peeler! 😂 Now I'm trying to think of all the other recipes I need to make with apples. What else would you make?? xo - Lisa
@ThuvarakaMahenthiran404 that apple peeler is one of the best things I've bought! Use it almost everyday ( kids don't like the skin ) peels potatoes too! The core remover can be taken off
I love making applesauce and then making applesauce cake. It was something I started doing when my children were little. We picked the apples at a farm and then made the sauce and cake. I can’t wait to make this though because I literally just got one of those peelers you have. I’ve always wanted one! So excited!!
This looks yummy!!!I also add red pears to my apple crisp sometimes and we like it in my applesauce too-yummy!!!thank you Lisa -baked apples are so good tooo
I've made this same recipe but I add pecans or walnuts to the dry mix. I've served it with vanilla or coconut yogurt and it's delicious. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your loved ones
I don't have a pastry cutter so I just grate the cold butter on the largest side of the grater and it works fine 😊 Definitely going to try this recipe.... thank you from Melbourne Australia ❤
I made this last night! I have your recipe book and made the spiralized apple crisp but chopped the apples instead. Omg so good! Topped with coconut whipped cream!
I have tried this with my family for the first time...my my my we were all going for seconds and thirds, was finished in no time. Thank you for the recipe, my kids are 6 & 7 and always watch your videos for recipes really enjoy them❤
The apple crisp is the very first recipe I made from your beautiful cookbook! I have an electric spiralizer so it was perfect. Very delicious and probably my favorite dessert throughout my life!
Both toppings look like they'd taste equally delicious! Your enthusiasm really showed in this video. You sold me on making this recipe soon. Happy Thanksgiving Lisa!!
You’ve really been blessing our tastebuds with so many cozy & comforting autumn recipes! I’ll be making this one tonight and will leave a review on your website! Apple crisp is my husband’s favourite dessert. Can’t wait. 🤤
Hey Lisa! I've recently started making meals at home and I've tried a lot of your recipes and everything turned out so delicious!! The meal prep videos really saved my life! Looking forward to more recipes😄
One of the first recipes I ever made was Apple Betty out of the Better Homes and Gardens cookbook. I will try adding oatmeal to my Apple Betty recipe and see how it goes 😋 thanks!
😲 OMG - I finally got your " Healthy Meal Prep" book 📖 and I'm very excited to begin a much more healthy and delicious way of eating - saves time and effort too!! 👌
We are making my mother in law’s famous apple pies for Thanksgiving (not GF :(). So I’m making this for me. The topping of crumble is eat-out-of-the bowl before it’s cooked worthy! I am so not that person and yet, this is so THAT good! I can’t wait til it’s done! Thank you, Lisa! Happy Thanksgiving!
I just bought that same apple slicer a few weeks ago after we went apple picking. I just washed up my last 30 apples to 'process' this week. I've cooked so many cinnamon apples and froze in gallon bags and given to friends. My last batch will be some of the same but I'm going to try making little tartlets for T-day but I will also make this because we love apple (berry) crisps of any kind. *Slicing the apples with the machine is like therapy! It's so relaxing. )Not sure what you did with the peels but I dusted with cinnamon and dried in the oven, then powdered most of them up and my sons uses it in to sprinkle on his oatmeal and we just sprinkled on ice cream Friday night. It was really good. I coarse chopped the other bits to add to muffins, yogurt and oatmeal. Did you do anything with your skin scraps?) Thanks for the perfectly timed recipe.
Love your videos as usual! Will try this in near future! Will check out the apple peeler! I hate the peeling, cutting, etc. in meal prep! I need to cut corners where I can, so please provide shortcuts when possible. I have an autoimmune disease and I fatigue easily or need to take frequent breaks. I use a dicer slicer for veggies when possible. Still making your tumeric chicken casserole as my favorite recipe in addition to pulled pork, almond butter, horchata, salads, etc! Thank you!
I love making a peach cobbler dump cake this time of year as well. 2 cans peaches, chopped up in bottom of pan, yellow cake mix on top of that, with butter, cinnamon & nutmeg. Bake it 45 min at 350°F & serve w vanilla ice cream
Looks so yummy. I'm not very much into desserts (unless is icecream, melted is ok to me 😂) but this one looks delicious (granny Smith apples are my favorite and I looove cinnamon) Thanks for the recipe. 🤗
YUM. I wish I had an oven. ㅠㅜ I wonder if I can modify it with my instapot air fryer? 🙃 new subscriber here. I am so excited to try many of your recipes!!
Does anyone remember when we used to use two knives together in one hand to cut in butter? Hold the knives with a finger between them (I think). That's been so long ago!
So delicious!!! I would like to do this with peaches for Christmas, would you recommend frozen(thawed) or canned & what would be the measurements please. TY
I have that peeler and I use it every year for my apple pie at Thanksgiving. My question is it peels the apples pretty thin, so would that change the cooking time for this recipe?
Any suggestions for making it the day before and bringing it to a party the next say? I need something super fast day of the party could I just re-heat the whole thing in their oven or should I try to cook it right before I go?
Do you have any recipes for sweet potatoes for Thanksgiving with pecan toppings I know there's nutmeg butter cinnamon. It would be great if you post one I looked through your stuff I don't see any
I miss oats so bad but right now the is a major supply chain issue and even some purity protocol oats have tested positive for gluten cross contamination. 😓 Anybody know a good substitute? Nothing really has the shape of oats... Maybe sliced tiger nuts would work?
Not gonna lie, I'm obsessed with that apple peeler! 😂 Now I'm trying to think of all the other recipes I need to make with apples. What else would you make?? xo - Lisa
I make a gluten-free apple cake.

Toss in rhubarb split 50/50 and it’s a game changer !!
That's a great idea!
I love this recipe!! The only thing I add is finely grated lemon peel to the crumble…cuts some of the sweetness.
That's a great idea as well!
I love your recipes and how you have "all the tools of the trade" for the perfect dish 😊

Looks amazing 🎉
I need that apple peeler!
It's like a fun kitchen toy! Haha.
Can the almond flour be replaced with a different type?
Yes, no problem.
Any suggestions for making it the day before and bringing it to a party the next say? I need something super fast day of the party could I just re-heat the whole thing in their oven or should I try to cook it right before I go?
What type of vanilla ice cream do you use- what brand ?
I normally buy Alden's Organic ice cream 😊
Use a shreader for the butter use it frozen
Great idea!
We have a nut allergy, can I use regular gluten-free flour?
Yes you can!
El jarabe de Arce es igual que la miel esa que se usa para los pancakes Maple en realidad
You can shred the butter (like you would cheese).

Hello! Is there a substitute for the coconut sugar?
You can use any granulated sugar.
Would a Paleo flour mix work for this recipe?
You know what would be even yummier? Make ahead some browned butter. Brown it and refrigerate to get it cold. 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤
Oooh, and some walnuts.
I'm glad I'm lucky by hand gets a little too warm the butter starts melting really quick LOL
Do you have any recipes for sweet potatoes for Thanksgiving with pecan toppings I know there's nutmeg butter cinnamon. It would be great if you post one I looked through your stuff I don't see any
