The Reşadiye Marşı (English: March of Mehmed Resad) is an imperial anthem of the Ottoman Empire from 1909 to 1918. Upon the commencement of Sultan Mehmed V Resad's reign in 1909, a competition was declared to find a personal march for the new sultan. The contest was won by Italo Selvelli, who was of Italian heritage (as were nearly all the other creators of personal marches for previous sultans). Also, like the previous sultan's march, this anthem also contains lyrics.

Were those child soldiers? That's actually insane
they was fighting for independence o7
No it isn't. They are primary school children. 9 years before the Turkish War of indepence.
It wouldnt be insane but they arent. Those children of fallen soldiers under the custody of Kazım Pasha who is the commander of east front during Independence War
They are not soldiers, they are Turkish children whose parents were murdered by Armenians and Greeks. Kazim Pasha established an orphanage and took care of them all there.

This song slaps, but this sultan, i heard, sucked.
Rip Resad. The anthem slapped for ur empire
Sultan Resad is not a bad leader, he is very unlucky. The government did unsuccesful works (the young Turks you know)
The Most Pathetic Sultan of Ottoman Empire
Joining the Germans/axis was a big mistake…
Bruh he had no power
In reality the ottoman sultan /caliph was just a figure head, the true ppl where the young Turks [ not those ben shpario like weirdos]
But a council of reformist and they where split but to sum it up here are 3 reasons.
1. British annexation of Egypt was a big loss and big souring point towards Anglo Turkish relations.
2. British took ships that they were gonna give ottomans when ww1 broke out.
3. Germans gave ottomans the ships [granted they had just open fired on Russian ships.
@@pixeltine6886 wdym "granted" that makes no grammatical sense
It wasn't Mehmed's fault, the minister of war of the Ottoman Empire "forcefully" made them join the war
