"Reşadiye Marşı", in English: Reşad March was the imperial anthem of the Ottoman Empire from 1909 to 1918. At the beginning of the reign of Sultan Mehmed V Reşad in 1909, a contest was held to compose a personal march for the new sultan . The contest was won by Italo Selvelli, who was of Italian descent, as were almost all other composers who composed personal marches for previous sultans. Like the sultan's march before it, this anthem also had lyrics, although these seem to have been lost to history.
    ⟪History⟫
On April 13, 1909, a coup attempt (March 31 Incident) was carried out by a group that was against the constitution, many civilians and soldiers lost their lives in this rebellion, and Sultan Abdülhamid II was deposed and preceded. by Mehmed V Resad.
In 1911, as a result of Italian armies attacking Libya for colonial purposes, the Italo-Turkish War was fought between the Ottoman Empire and Italy. With the Treaty of Ouchy at the end of the war, the Ottomans lost their last territory in North Africa. However, at this time, the Balkan wars broke out in Europe.
The Ottoman Empire joined in World War I on the side of Germany and the Austro-Hungarian Empire. The Ottoman Empire, which fought on many fronts in this war, suffered heavy losses, and the war ended with the victory of the Entente Powers in 1918.
On October 30, 1918, the Ottoman Empire signed the Armistice of Moúdros with the Entente Powers through the Minister of Naval Affairs Rauf Orbay in the Port of Moúdros on the island of Lemnos. Soon the Entente powers came to the Ottoman capital to occupy it. That day, about 3,000 soldiers from the Entente fleet landed, mostly British. They were placed in various official and informal buildings in Istanbul.
These events and the plight of the Ottoman Empire led to the start of the Turkish War of Independence, which was waged in the passion of gaining independence.
On April 23, 1920, the Grand National Assembly of Turks was established in Ankara. Then the War of Independence (1919-1922) against the occupying forces was successful. On November 1, 1922, the Grand National Assembly of Turkey abolished the 623-year-old Ottoman sultanate with decree no. 308, the last sultan Mehmed VI Vahdettin was exiled abroad and the Ottoman Empire was dissolved.

El Imperio Otomano es el claro ejemplo de que nada dura para siempre. 700 años siendo una de las naciones mas poderosas hasta convertirte en prácticamente un muerto viviente en la primera guerra mundial.
