I just returned my Nimbus 26 pair of shoes because walking around in the shoe store is different than running in them. They don't have a treadmill in that running store...go figure. Anyway, My issue with the nimbus was that it was way to much cushion-squishy and my heels felt unstable upon landing, My knee and lower back was hurting when I ran in these shoes and the toe box was tight...my big toes and the ones next to them felt tingly or getting a bit numb. I just ordered the Kayano 30 and hope that this shoe will do the trick. I tried them on in the store and it felt similar to the Nimbus but stable...not like my heels were moving around in squishy foam. Mind you, I am running with the Asics GT1000-10 at this time and they are very soft and comfortable shoes but I was looking for a little more cushion. I'm hoping that I keep these kayanos and dont have to returned them.
Last year I ended getting the GT 2000 12 instead the Gel-Kayano 30 . I loved the first GT 2000 I ever had. But this year I will see if I go back to the Gel-Kayano 31 for a change .
I have the GT2000-11, it's not bad but I also have two pairs of the GT-1000-10...older model of course. But they are very comfortable, have good cushion and stability. I just returned some Nimbus 26 shoes because they were too squishy and didn't feel stable. I ordered the Kayano 30 and hope that I wont have to do the same with those. If I do return them, I'll just have to try the GT-1000 12. I tried on the GT-2000 12 and they weren't bad but for me, the GT-1000 10 that I have now are more softer.
@@MiracleWarriorsI work at ASICS and just got to try out the kayano 31. It’s identical to the 30 and now we’re discounting the 30s, so now’s a good time to get em
Ive just switched from GT-2000s to Gel-Cumulus and Im not sure Ive made the right choice. I'll stick it out with these for now but I think Ill be trying Kayanos next time out.
My job requires me to stand all day in one place. It’s rare that I have a chance to walk. I’m thinking of getting ASICS but can’t decide between Nimbus, Kyano and Cumulus. I also want to use the shoe for running and walking. But most importantly, I don’t want foot pain while standing all day. And I have flat feet. Can you recommend which one should I get please?
That was a great review and a nice way of saying: just go for the Nimbus 25.

nimbus 26 is a disneyland shoes for walking i feel.
happy with the Kayano 30s. super on sale. Bought 2 off the bat.
What’s the final verdict between ASICS gel nimbus 26 vs ASICS kayano 30
I have normal arch but plantar fascitiis. Too much heel pain. What shoes would you recommend for running an hour or walking for 3 miles?
Neither the ASICS GT2000 12 is very overlooked shoe, cushioned and a good bit of response.

Love my GT 2000s
I have both of them ( Gel Kayano 30 an GT 2000 12) and I like GT 2000 more

Nimbus is much softer for me. Too soft.

I also recommend asics gt 2000 12 for standing but from the choices. kayano for me.
