@@matthewmcalister2165 She still got a 'cut the cheese' joke in, and "I'll be watching this video to find out!," so I'd say that's still the Emily we love!
Bianca's recipe is for like that hunger you feel at 3 am and want a quick snack Emily's recipe is if you want a side dish with your main meal with your family or friends Joshua's recipe is for when you want to impress someone with your cooking skills, and also patience, cause ain't no way i am waiting for 2 days for some tater tots
I've never thought of tater tots as a gourmet experience. Joshua proved me wrong. Though really, Emily's looked pretty amazing, too, and even Bianca stepped up the frozen potato game with all that seasoning.
I believe the original potato pavé recipe is Thomas Keller's. It's actually a fancy version of scalloped potatoes. Joshua just totted them up by deep frying them instead of pan searing.
Emily's promotion is well deserved! She's been killing it with her channel and colabs, learning so much that she's put to the test and demonstrated a world of creative yet casual home cookery that we can all aspire to. But Bianca - always brilliant with such great energy. And Chef Johsua - always great to see a new expert thrown into the mix.
Level 1: My girl Bianca keeping it simple yet making it look so great! 😊 Level 2: Emily the Queen! Upping her game yet making it look fun!! ❤ Level 3: Joshua making it so complex, yet making look so doable... OK bro I see you 😏😏
I love the confidence Bianca has as a level 1 chef. Plus she's funny, consulting her ancestors on how much seasoning to use...ot the 3, her's were the most tater-tot like. I bet they would have tasted better if she'd used more oil or deepfried them
Another great episode! Bianca is adorable and super happy for Emily ! First time seeing chef josh. Great results! Cheers from your biggest fan in Colombia amigos!
Am I the only one who feels like the Amateur level one Chef meal makes the most sense? 👏🏾Bianca glad to see you’re back giving realistic #homecooking vibes
Emily's culinary journey is so exciting to all of us who've been watching her since the beginning. Loving the comments about her promotion. We're all so proud of you, Emily!!
So, Emily is promoted, and is still an original. How do you not love her? Bianca is a sweetheart, and I love a "saucy girl." Josua, like all these pros, is way over the top! As for Rose...if she weren't married, I'd be an eager suitor!! Despite all that, $3 for a two-pound bag of frozen tater tots is really all I need --- and that ketchup Emily threw at me!!!
Shoutout to the level 1 chefs…so happy Bianca is on the show!!! She represented for the underdog AND looked DAMN good while doing it. Come on red hair….it’s cute! Pop out with a different color each episode to keep things spicy 🌶️ we love to see it!
Emily!!! I'm so proud of you! You were the hands down star of this show. With the level 3 dish, there were a lot of techniques and ingredients that aren't very accessible to the average home chef. But Emily's dish in this episode was not only accessible, but honestly incredibly well thought out and appetizing. Again, incredibly proud of Emily and what she's accomplished here. Looking forward to trying her tater tots recipe myself!
the past few days and during ramadan I have just been watching all of these videos to pass the time, and I think this is th eonly recent video I have watched yet, nice seeing emily upgraded.
Some of my favorite episodes are of Emily/Lorenzo/Frank, so I always look forward to Emily's takes on food, especially now that she has some experience under her belt.
I like how Josh explains the why and how. I'm vegan so his dish is not appetizing to me, but I like his chill vibe and seems like he knows what he's doing!
Literally made homemade tater tots and a vegetarian burger the other night, so funny lol. Also I’m so happy to see Emily leveling up to Level 2🥰💕 Also FINALLY! Someone else who realizes that an air fryer is literally just a mini convection oven. Why would I buy something that my kitchen already has? Plus I don’t even like convection ovens (personally)🤷🏾♀️🙃
I think this is my first time seeing chef Joshua but I really like his take on this. It's super ~elevated, but looks really good, stays with the idea of the tater tot, and isn't sooo ridiculous that you couldn't do it at home.
I really love these video's and cant wait to see more. I would love to see each chef as well as the scientist to try each others creations and see their live reactions.
I'm glad Emily has been promoted. Well deserved. That said, when did 4 Levels become about ads and snarky comments everywhere?? If I wanted reality TV, I'd have looked through the garbage.
seeing Emily as level 2 chef is the best. Progress
She needs to start working on a degree in food science to get that sweet, sweet level 4. Gotta outrank Frank
@@00chips why does she need a degree when she's literally working with all of these chefs and garnering the experience herself?
@@MrMisterJW because with the degree she qualifies as a food scientist to get to level 4
@@albtraummew706 science doesn't require a degree.
Makes me cheer!
It is still brings me great joy that Emily got promoted!!!
thank you!! 🤩

Emily's upgrade is all I'm here for. I'll miss her ketchup phase, though.
My heart sunk when she threw the ketchup away.
I have to believe that she will come back with a quip about being a level 2 chef is about knowing WHEN to use ketchup.
Tater tots go great with ketchup
@ maybe it's foreshadowing to when she's going to start making her own ketchup.
@ exactly ❤
Emily saying "Level 2 Chef" is music to my ears
To me it’s the opposite. I love Emily, but her self-deprecating humour at level 1 was always so entertaining

Josh and Bianca just throwing shades at each other throughout the video 😂😂😂😂
I’m here for it! I usually click off a video if it’s Emily or Saul isn’t in it, but now I’ll stick around if I see the Bianca/Josh combo.
It's more or less just Josh being correct and Bianca being ignorant.

Or you know. Different priorities. Not everyone has 2 days to make tater tots.
The look of pride when she says "I'm Emily, and I'm a level two chef" is just wholesome delightfulness and I am all for it.
I know! I’m proud of her too 😊
@@Armymom1984 It's probably because she worked really hard and learned a lot.
Exactlyyyy
Who determined that?
One of the coolest things about Emily's "hero's journey" has been how much more touch she has when seasoning. Confidence and determination.

Chef Josh was actually my instructor at ICE for my first course this year! Glad to see him finally on the Epicurious channel, dad jokes and all.
Oh that’s amazing!
Emily's tater tots were so big, more like tater teens! All three looked so good, and I hope to see Josh again!
