Another guy in the comments says he finds it much easier to change run flats than regular tires, which makes me wonder what type of run flats these guys are working with because my BMW M series run flats are quite difficult to both mount and dismount, so I understand you completely!

This tire being used in this demonstration does not look at all like a run flat tire.
Try a 245/40/R18 or 225/40/R18 wheel.
I've only succeeded in a single 225 tyre.
The other wheels I've tried will not cooperate.

youre advice for breaking the bead 180 degrees from valve stem is wrong. some fords have sensors installed at that position.

mounting a run flat is no different than a normal tire, i actually find low profile run flats easier to mount than a normal size, like 205/55/16.
No, The Runflat tires only can be mounted on special designed Runflat Rims (EH2 rims)
